Easy process, friendly staff. No sales pressure. After I got the car I noticed a transmission issue. They fixed it under their warranty with no delay or hassles. I will definitely use them again!

If I can help it, I will never shop through a dealer ever again. CarMax took very good care of me. They made it very easy to trade in my Jeep for a more fuel efficient vehicle. CarMax made me feel welcome and when I had a problem they went to extremes to remedy it. There was an issue with scheduling picking up my new car but my sales person, Jessica took care of it and made sure I walked away happy. I highly recommend buying a car from CarMax and I will be back in the future.

From beginning to end the process was pleasant and seamless. They actually treated me like a valued customer before I became one! No side deals with the sales manager, no need to negotiate vehicles are priced as they should be. I would recommend Carmax over any other car dealership, in addition their service department is completely willing to address any concerns you have about the vehicle post sale. I have no complaints with my experience in both selling 2 vehicles to and buying a truck from Carmax. I was treated well by a very competent and professional staff. I am not fond of either buying or selling cars but they made it easier than any experience I have had previously with a car dealership.

We've bought three cars from CarMax over the past three years. I love how you can very easily try out different cars, with no salespeople twisting your arm. And the cars are always in such prime shape, it seems no different than buying a new car.

The Carmax staff really takes care of you. I had car trouble with my car recently and the service team took care of the problem instantly and kept me informed through out the whole process. Huge shout out to Bobby for his amazing customer service and going the extra mile for his customers. I am extremely happy with my service there and really happy I purchased my car at Carmax. The best customer service I have experienced in a long time. Kudos to Emily for going above and beyond. Thought I’d left my wallet on the counter but it wasn’t there. She grabbed an umbrella and searched the parking lot for me. She even suggested to look between the seat and seatbelt area and sure enough, there it was. All three staff I interacted with were very nice and helpful.

5 stars for the wonderful service department at this location. Bobby and Chelsea are simply wonderful and their positive energy is a highlight every time you walk in the store. The mechanic David did an excellent job repairing my Corvette. Of course it can be disappointing to have an issue with a vehicle after purchase but they are used after all. The fact that they will take care of any issue for 90 days after purchase is unheard of. If I purchase another used vehicle in the future I will make sure it is with this specific carmax only thanks to the amazing service department.

I wanted to sell my car in connection with buying a new one. I checked online for a reasonable price range for the sale. The offer I received from Carmax was the highest by quite a margin. I made an appointment and, within 15-20 minutes, Carmax had inspected the car, verified the offer, completed the paperwork for the sale, and provided me with a check for the purchase price. Every employee I met at Carmax was friendly and helpful. I was very pleased with the experience.

My salesperson was super helpful and efficient! They handled everything great, and the car was exactly what I had been looking for! CarMax followed up after the sale to make sure I had everything and made the entire experience wonderful.

Do not buy anywhere else. The only downside was that I had to fly one way to Ontario to pick up the car, but WOW, I have to say the 30 days after buying the car have been absolutely phenomenal.

The people on the phone, the sales reps, and the finance team are all nice. They are super helpful and make sure they get you the right answer, not just and answer.

That being said, the service department in Santa Rosa is why I am leaving 5 stars. I bought the 5 year warranty but this has nothing to do with the warranty. They have been beyond pleasant to deal with, and are making a huge effort to ensure everything on my car is working. I probably would have been happy without this additional help, but any possible dissatisfaction was immediately removed with the treatment I have received in service.

Bottom line, had I bought this car at any other dealership I would probably be out quite a bit, but Carmax has a 30 day return window, and ensures everything is perfect. My last 2 vehicles were new, but I don’t think I’m buying another new car again after this. I am only buying my used cars from here from now on, even if the car costs me more here than at another dealership.

Easy online quote and reservation request. Our quote was very fair and confirmed at the location. Everyone was helpful, nice, and organized the transfer paperwork neatly. I would definitely recommend Carmax to sell your car.

This was my third vehicle transaction at Carmax Santa Rosa. There was an issue with the title and DMV but Carmax contacted me and I was impressed with how they handled it. I never expected a car dealership to take care of such a matter. They took complete ownership and made it right. Strongly recommend.

It was literally the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had purchasing a vehicle. Everyone was courteous and helpful. No pressure and no rush with any decisions made. Learned that specific models in search will surface at all CarMax locations, and can be shipped to you for a fee. Answered online questions and spoke with CarMax Rep per ph. We purchased a used Subaru Forester a few months ago form this location. The sales staff was extremely helpful and made the process very easy. Upon driving it for a few days we started noticing a burnt oil smell and smoke would come from the engine compartment when we stopped. We took it to a local Subaru specialist and they determined that the cam shaft seal was leaking and it was going to be a big job to fix it. We called Carmax about the repair and once again they were very easy deal with. The mechanic was not in their list of service providers, but they approve the repair anyway. After the repairs were complete, the mechanic called the Carmax rep and was paid immediately on the phone with a credit card. The mechanic is also now a member of their service providers for future business. This was a win win for everyone! Thank you so much for taking an unfortunate situation and turning it into a great experience!

I bought and sold with Carmax within a two week period and it was smooth as silk. My new car is beautiful and they gave me what they promised for my old vehicle. Took an hour each time which was reasonable. Everyone was very professional. I enjoyed the experience and would recommend them.

Great selection of cars at this location. Other Carmax locations will either ship for free or for a fee if you find a car in another state. Not obligated to buy either. Had a great experience and the associate worked with me even though my credit was not the greatest. Paperwork was a lot as expected. Recommend MaxCar warranty which can be added to the no haggle price. Carmax cars go through a 120 point inspection before they sell them so you can be sure they will take care of you if needed. My sister already bought a car 2 weeks after I did. Would recommend to start out browsing online, getting in touch with an associate, test driving, and then driving home in your previously owned vehicle. Comes with 7 day no questions asked return policy and 90 day warranty. Great experience, just don't look at inventory after purchase like I did and see a better deal. Utilize the 7 day policy by driving car as much as you can and inspect it inside and out. Great service and would highly recommend the overall experience. Associate still checks in with me 3 times after purchase. A+++++

I've purchased cars at CarMax Santa Rosa three times in six years. The prices at CarMax are somewhat higher than competitors, but for that premium you get excellent service, 30 days to reverse the deal, a 90-day warranty, and in my experience a vehicle you can count on.
