Sunflower Yoga

I am fortunate to have been a student at Sunflower Yoga since 2009.
Jackie's instruction is very clear and detailed, both with demonstration of poses and verbal direction to the class.
Jackie has a deep knowledge of yoga, which is constantly growing with her continued study. In each class I improve some aspect of my practice, often because of a different explanation of a pose.
The class sizes are small and each student is given equal attention by Jackie.
I highly recommend Sunflower Yoga to everyone. Proper yoga.

I have taken yoga classes with many different teachers over the years, and Jackie is by far the best. She is highly qualified and very experienced. She explains and demonstrates each pose clearly, and ensures, through individual attention, that everyone is doing each pose correctly. She is sensitive to any health issues that her students have, and will explain how to modify poses to best deal with any constraints we might have. Her pace is perfect. Her yoga studio is peaceful and very well equipped. In addition to joining her classes, I am also currently working with her on a one-to-one basis, where she is developing a home practice yoga sequence tailored specifically to my needs (I have scoliosis.) I cannot recommend Jackie highly enough.

She actually teaches you the poses; she doesn't just lead you through them. Whether a beginner or seasoned practitioner, you will learn more and develop your practice further by studying with Jackie. I am so excited that Sunflower Yoga is where it is and has such a qualified instructor. I have been improving my health for the last 3 years. YOGA is one of the naturopathic techniques that I used to improve my health, along with high does of vitamins C and B12 IV, hyperbaric oxygen, juicing, etc. I will be moving to Spokane near the Wellness Tree for the IV's and Manito park for the 2 mile walks a day. I am happy to know I can continue to include Yoga when, I move. People don't necessarily realize Cancer is caused by many things including Stress and Yoga can relieve and reduce that stress, thus help improve your health!
