After driving up from San Diego for a weekend trip, and noticing some concerning things happening with my car on the way after having an oil change the day before, they graciously took a look at it 30 minutes before closing for the weekend and found that my oil filter had failed and I had lost more than 80% of my oil. They were able to replace the filter, fill it up, and keep us safe with peace of mind for the rest of the weekend and my drive back home. I am VERY grateful for them! They were kind, quick, and a true lifesaver even as I’m sure they were ready to head home. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of auto repair or service.

We came in from out of town and had a major issue with our car’s oil leaking. They stayed late and saved the day for us by finding the issue and repairing the leak. They were so kind and seriously saved our trip by being willing to take us on at the end of their work day!

If I could give 20 stars I would!! These guys are the best. Friendly, honest, and genuine customer service! Though they were fully booked leading up to Labor Day weekend, they took the time to evaluate why my check engine light was on to ensure my weekend travel would be safe. In addition, they diagnosed the problem and let me know it was under warranty and sent me to the dealership. A display of true integrity. I have been to Metric Motors for past issues and they have always treated me with the same professionalism and courtesy, often accessing the problem and letting me drive away without charging me a penny, allowing me to return when I have time to have the vehicle serviced. My first time using this company and it was by far the best experience I’ve had with an auto shop, and even dealing with customer service! To say the least, Miguel, Jeremy, and Carlos hooked me up! They fixed the oil leak in my Jaguar XJR 2016 supercharged sports car!
I believe they did honest work and made me feel very welcomed, even while I was asking so many questions.

I took my Land Rover to Metric Motors for an oil change and service. Once I got home, I noticed some oil leaking so immediately brought it back to the shop. They quickly identified it as a leaky o-ring on the oil filter, replaced it, and spent 6+ hours cleaning up the oil that leaked onto the block. Once done, they delivered it to my home so I wouldn't have to go back again. Great service and commitment to their customers, even when things out of their control throw a wrench in things. Would use again and recommend.

If you are looking for a fantastic place to take your car for both large and small repairs, this is the one! As I first walked in to the shop, I was struck by the cleanliness of the place, and the courtesy of the personnel. The staff are extremely knowledgable, and communication is clear about what the car needs and how long it will take. Since I know so little about cars, I am usually relatively wary of auto repair shops - knowing they can take full advantage of my lack of awareness; however, I found Metric Motors to be an extremely honest and confidence-inspiring shop with reasonable prices for exactly what the car needs. I highly recommend Metric Motors in Sonoma!

Bo and staff are very efficient and reliable when it came to working on my car. They have done my diagnostic test, oil change, replaced my coolant flange and my oil filter housing unit on my Audi. I'm having an issue right now and Jay is being very helpful about it. Metric motors have a great team with great customer service. I highly recommend them. I travel to Sonoma from Fairfield just to get my car fixed by them.

Metric Motors in Sonoma has to be one of, if not the best auto repair shop in existence. In particular Jay is incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. The integrity he shows is reason enough to bring your car to Metric Motors. If your debating whether to go to the "dealer" or use an independent mechanic, I urge you not to think twice and head for Metric Motors!

Took my bmw, they weren’t able to fix it but I saved money and they were honest and helpful . Turned out to need a reprogramming which only bmw could do. So they did what they could
