This is the BEST Black owed Hair Salons in Modesto. Owed by a mama snd daughter team. Janice the mother, when doing my hair. Brings me back to my childhood. How my mother used to do my hair. I get a deep cleaning and I have to stop myself from falling asleep I am so comfortable in that chair I love love love the way my hair looks when I leave her shop

Jazmine the daughter is very thorough like her mama. Both are very gentle on head. Enjoy my conversations in the salon. I feel welcome to be there and I feel like I am at home with family. Good price point

I was unaware that Jazzy secretly took photos of my hair to post on her Facebook and instagram as a profile picture and just post of advertisement. She did not ask me if it was okay to do so and I feel taken advantage of because she did not ask for my consent to take the photos to begin with or permission to post the photos on any social media platforms. My hair is personal and very intimate to me and i just wanted to get my hair done, pay and leave. I had only been to 2 appointments with Jazzy just to share that I don’t know her well enough for her to take the photos without my consent or permission. Please be aware of your surroundings when in her facility. If you do not wish to be photographed let that be known because Jazzy will not tell you otherwise. I feel so uncomfortable knowing that this is something Jazzy does when your vulnerable sitting in her salon chair when your intended purpose is to just get your hair done without being used in any other way. She has removed the photos of me from her instagram but on two separate Facebook profiles one personal and one for the jazzy is hair salon business page they are still up even after asking her to remove them from any and all profiles. It’s one thing for me to have a choice or say and it’s another for someone to take the option away from you for their own benefits. I am a very spiritual and this has crossed my boundaries. I will not continue to use her services.

I got my hair done yesterday. And it's that place sucked never did. It, you didn't do what you were supposed to do.

Jaz will string u along and not get back to you when she gave a time to show up. She will waste ur time.
