Taqueria Riverbank

Absolutely love this spot in Oakdale! The shredded chicken tacos are a must! The prices are fair and the food is delicious. It's a small spot that is easy to miss when driving by. The dining area inside is spacious with a good amount of seating. They have a self-serve salsa bar. You order at the counter, and they will bring the food to your table. The service is great and employees are friendly. Highly recommend and will be back!

Very tasty, quick service. A small restaurant. You can see the grill, I could see that they were making everything fresh for us. My wife had a carnitas taco, the carnitas was VERY tasty and the amount of meat was very generous. I had the Camarones al mojo del ajo (shrimp in garlic sauce). LOTS of shrimp in a tasty sauce, and plenty of tortillas (I didn't have to ask for more tortillas, unlike many places). If I pass through Oakdale again I'm sure I'll be stopping here.

We have never been disappointed with the food here. Their Pozole is some of the best I have ever had. Great prices, delicious homemade salsa bar and yummy horchata. Definitely work checking out.

This place has been my go to comfort food spot in Oakdale for over ten years! Consistent quality and fair prices. I’m literally sitting in the restaurant, waiting for my take out right now and I’ll be coming back for years to come.

We stopped here on our way to Yosemite. It was the only place open after 8pm aside from fast food. It was SO, SO GOOD!! Definitely stop here of you want good, authentic Mexican food. The staff was friendly. The food was reasonably priced. The preparation was quick. If you are passing through Oakdale, go here!

The Riverbank Taqueria is my favorite lunch spot. The menu is varied and they have Taco Tuesday with so many authentic options. My favorite though, is thrifty and simple, the rice and whole beans with a sprinkle of cheese and a bag of crunchy chips. Then I go to their topping bar and choose a topping or two to delight my palate for the day. They seem to stay busy for lunch with a number of other regulars. I can call ahead and they will have my order ready. I can be back to work on time!

The food here is fresh and outstanding, with the portions being large and the prices fair. It is essentially a take out place with tables set up to eat once you pick up your food from the counter. Not fancy, but it is all about the food.

I tried the 3 enchilada plate with chicken, beef and pork. The portion was large and very good. They have a nice salsa bar and fresh made chips. The prices are good, I'll be going back.

One of the best burrito I ever had. I'm from Silicon Valley and every time that I passed by Oakdale to go to Yosemite I have to stop by there. Perfect combination of rice and beans good quality meat, can't ask anything more

It is one of my favorite places. I come from Turlock and drive to oakdale which is about 20.miles just for lunch. The food is always good. And way more than I can eat, so of course I take it home, always good the next day.

Well For one I ordered about $40 worth of food and they managed to mess up the enchilada plate I ordered that was supposed to be green sauce they obviously noticed they messed up because they tried to cover the Red Sauce with Green !!! I order Green Sauce because Im pregnant and get heart burn really bad from Red Sauce !! Let me remind you I got two enchilada plates both green!! But of all the ones they messed up on was mine! I cant believe they even tried to cover it up!! 😩 Im so upset !!
