Youth Community Park

This review is mainly for the skatepark, its a one of a kind spot. It was built for skateboarding with the 70's and 80's style park in mind. No half pipes, stairs with slanted rail etc. What it does have is the flow, its so fun to just surf/carve the concrete there. It does have a flat bar, super long parking block style curb, grinding box with ledges and a kick ramp.
The other main thing is the people and local skaters! Seriously some of the nicest guy's I've meet and the greatest of vibes.

Great open field medium size play area and seasonal weekend train rides for a donation only it was so much fun this was our first time going on trains girls loved it

The mini me had fun and it nice park with good shade .

There's a beautiful trail that leads to the creek. Be aware and cautious of the homless encampments throughout the park.

The youth park is always been great! But now the city is doing the right thing and promoting the sport of disc golf in the back acreage behind the regular Park. Thank you city of Santa Rosa!!

Frisbygulfers are rude and think they own the park they need to share the park just we all do for them!!!!!!!!

This park rocks! Trails, skatepark, disc golf, picnic areas, large green and a steam train!

This place is great to skate at. Good for beginners to intermediate I'd say. A little difficult for me as a beginner to get in and out of the hole/loop area. This place also has a nice grass and walking area as well. Lots of graffiti

This skate park is everything I wished for growing up, and now to enjoy this with my son has been nothing but radical. The locals are a good crew, people just need to chill out. They've all been nothing but respectful and even courteous to all the younger riders. The freaks come out at night so enjoy with your kids till sunset~

My kids love coming to this park. They have skateboards and love to get out there with the big boys. The people that come to skate here are very mindful of my little guys and don't seem to mind at all that they are getting out there with them, they actually encourage them. This is such a relief for me because I worry so much when they get out there, they are only six and eight, and have been going out there for a couple years now.

Have driven by many times, thought I'd take a chance and stop with my grandson.. Ample parking, clean multiple bathrooms, smooth cement paths to walk on.. Skateboard park, newer playground. Plenty sitting, barbeque area. Green grass & trees !!! Very impressed!! Also, train track for train rides looks like 1 weekend a month.. Will be back!!!

I play the Rosa park disc golf course, lots of course improvements going on, new baskets and tee pads are awesome. Would be hard to follow without udisc app. Can be busy at times, never had problem with parking or running into the folks from nearby camps.

The 18 hole disc golf course meanders through scrub oak. It's fun, but be aware of the poison oak.

Great for the natural types. Big beautiful trees. I love it there a good place to get lost from the fast pass City lights don't exist here in the forest or come up to the bowls and do a few tricks on ur board or bike so much fun for all ages

I've been fount to this park since I was_ a child. Great for partiesand making friends.

Train rides great for grandkids. Check schedule before going.

Nice big park with canopy place to play Frisbee golf skate park and a mini dirt track with some nice jumps and playgrounds for smaller kids and restrooms

Nice group picnic grounds on a hot day when most of the people are at the river. The park was virtually empty and youth community park has a kids playground and a skatepark. Plenty of flush toilets and the sink

Have passed by for years but never stopped until today. They have a freakin train dude! I had no idea. Now I need to bring my grandson.

Nice park, well maintained and lots of space for kids to run. I was skeptical about taking the kids here, in the past so many teens and homeless i was afraid to let the kids play out of my reach. Much nicer these days!
