Shirley and Steve were absolutely phenomenal. Both went way out of their way to ensure I got everything I needed after losing my key whilst traveling overseas for several months. They even followed up to make sure the move out went smoothly. Their service was first class and absolutely the best experience I’ve ever had at any storage facility. This facility is the best deal in the whole Bay Area, and the team there makes it even better. Thank you, Shirley and Steve for making my move out go so well during a particularly stressful time, especially with the pouring rain! You are both kind people with the best intentions, and that is so rare these days.

I have been a SmartStop customer for almost 10 years and I have had a very good experience, but since Steve has been working there I can say that it has been the best experience I have had since he makes sure that my things are protected, reminding me to check periodically, he have follow up in case I need anything, I have recently renewed my contract since I feel in good hands.

Heather was extremely helpful and personable when I went through the rental process with her. She explained all the details of the contract, asked if I had questions, and answered them all clearly and accurately. Heather was very friendly and professional in person and on the phone! Delighted to do business with her and with Smart Stop Storage in Sonoma!

We found the business online and the website had a great offer for a small unit, so we made a reservation online. When I looked at the website the day we were ready to go sign the paperwork, the price was higher and it didn’t say anything about a free month. We called and Steve told us not to worry, he would take care of it. We were a bit skeptical, as we’ve experienced bait and switch situations in the past, but when we got there Steve was as good as his word and was also very nice and made sure to explain everything thoroughly and demonstrate the lock on the unit as well as the keypad. GREAT JOB STEVE!

The staff was extremely helpful in giving us the time we needed to move our items. Thank you to management for all your help and understanding, we couldn't have done it without you.

The office attendant was the most honest helpful storage worker I've encountered and I've used allot of storage facilities in and out of the US. The units are what you'd expect but this facility is one of the few without rats!! They are responsible and very accommodating and reasonable.

The front desk receptionist was a great guy ! He reached out to me from the moment I booked and made sure I knew the information I needed and was sure of what I wanted :) I went in a week later to confirm everything and the process count of been more smoother and quick. Definitely looking forward to storing with them !

Steve is great manager, always professional with great customer service. The facility is always clean and looked after. The lady that works on Friday and Saturday is a little rude and never leaves the office to clean or check on the property. If it wasn't for Steve My review would probably only be 2 stars.

Steve was most helpful throughout the process of entering my unit. I was given a very thorough explanation and he even explained the importance of purchasing a lock at the location. 10/10 would recommend using this storage facility. Sincerely a happy customer!!!

I had a storage unit at smart stop for 3 years. During that time the manager of the facility, Steve, was extremely helpful and went above and beyond in providing information and assistance. Recently started renting a unit here at Smartstop Storage in sonoma. Everything from booking online all the way to getting set up, the process was really easy. Not only that but Steve the manager is really awesome out there, he helped with finalizing the contract and made me feel like i was welcomed and accommodated to all my needs. Himself and his crew out there do a VERY GOOD job keeping the facility clean and tightly easy to access and I feel my stuff is well cared for in their hands. So thanks again for all your hard work and welcoming a new gave to the wine country!!!!

Very pleased with the customer service. I felt welcomed with no pressure to feel obligated to get the storage unit. Paperwork at the front counter was done quickly and efficiently. This is perfect if you’re a busy person that needs to get in and out of there quickly to continue your day. I would recommend this place to others.

Just got a storage space at SmartStop in Sonoma and the registration, price, and service was excellent. I had been dreading moving some of my stuff into storage for months, but Steve the manager was very helpful and made it that much easy and convenient for me. Cheerful, competent service. In the midst of a move, I stopped by Smart Stop Storage to rent a unit on a rainy Saturday. Steve came right out to help me and couldn't have been nicer. He gave me a very reasonable rate on the unit, boxes and lock and answered all of my questions honestly and efficiently.
