Hi there,
In January the 26th . My husband suffered 5 strokes. I had not experienced anything like this. From the time we got there to when we left which was weeks. The emergency staff were absolutely amazing, caring, and explained things that I understood. Dr. Currie in the stroke unit 4th floor was tremendous. He left to go to rehabilitation. The staff would call me by name, I was there everyday. Daniel at the front desk always, with a smile and a kind word. One of his nurses on the 1 floor was wonderful Maddie.
The acute physical therapy unit took some much care for my husband which has no idea what happened to him.John is on his game. He saw that things were changing and immediately took action. Thanks to John they discovered he needed surgery on his gull bladder. He was back in the hospital. I can't say enough about ALL the staff in your facility.

Overall, our experience at the hands of the doctors, nurses, and staff was excellent. The ICU staff was outstanding in every way. The next area of the hospital had a few staffing glitches, but everyone was friendly and supportive. These people are overworked and underpaid, so their kindness and care for my wife were welcome in this crisis situation. Thank you all!

The hospital personnel are gracious and accommodating. We’ve had a few surgeries here and always left with good feelings and appreciation.

We have had to take our 3 year old daughter to the Memorial ER twice in the last three months (unfortunately), and each time we have been so deeply touched by the quality of care and kindness we received there. The nurses (shout out to Anna, Emma, Danielle, and Lesa!) were AMAZING, and Dr. Ferrari was AMAZING. He helped us both times, coincidentally! We felt seen, heard, helped, and cared for by everyone who helped us. In this healthcare day and age, this was especially meaningful – particularly during those stressful situations that required us to bring our kiddo to the ER. Their ability to sustain empathy, kindness, a sense of helpfulness, and professionalism with the hard work they do, day in and day out, 12-hour shifts, etc…is just mind blowing to me. THANK YOU!!! From the bottom of our hearts!!!

I have been here twice. Both times were for my 11 month old daughter. They did a good job at attending her. Yes we waited approximately 2 hours in the emergency room but I am a very patient person. We waited an extra hour or two after they checked her for COVID and her temperature because she had a fever, it was a little frustrating having to wait until they discharged us but it was worth it in the end for My daughter. They have good service here. Very kind, respectful and helpful. Thank god my daughter is getting better. Great hospital

The best ER experience I've ever had! I showed up in incredible amounts of pain the night of February 7th around 10pm and the front desk staff admitted me with such urgency and care. The nurses on staff (two male nurses cared for me, both tattooed – one blonde and one brunette, I wish I remembered their names) were so amazing and made sure I was okay throughout the experience. The X-ray tech Laurie was so kind as well. Everyone offered me warm blankets and tucked me in too lol! So grateful as I dread hospitals since having so many poor experiences, but this one was amazing. Big thank you to everyone involved!

My friend was in a serious car accident. She was medivacked here from the Mendocino coast slipping in and out of consciousness. I knew it was bad when I got the call but had no idea how horrific her injuries were.
Upon arrival I was informed that she was in MRI and I couldn't see her yet. The staff, especially the nurses who worked in ICU. they made sure she as well as I were comfortable and well cared for. She was there for many days and the people were top notch.
Erika will be making a full recovery thanks to Dr. Consiglieri and all of the wonderful staff at this facility

A very busy place. Excellent care. Friendly, approachable staff and physicians. Excellent network of doctors.
Spiritual support not pushed on you but available. Loved having Father pray with and for us.
Thank you a million times.

My mother who is in "end of life" stage of cancer was treated so amazing here. The staff went above and beyond professional care but also showed empathy to us and friends. Listen! This hospital loved my mother like we do. I have nothing but great admiration and am very thankful to this hospitals staff. To me, the hospital helped my moms transition and I am very grateful and pleased.

My experience with Memorial over the years has always been as an outsider looking in. Visiting friends, comforting them etc... Last week that all changed when my wife was rushed to the ER. Everyone in the ER was caring and helpful. My wife was admitted to the third floor unit. Everyone caring for my wife were gentle, loving, caring, and professional. I also want to praise the Hospice team who helped me through the difficult process of end of life descions. Medicine as grace.

I was brought into the ER via ambulance due to losing consciousness at school and I was seen immediately. They made sure I had everything to make me comfortable and they even gave me my own private room. I was surprised at the lack of wait time and everything (because I have experienced that before too 8-12 hours of agony) but it was great. Clean, friendly, and comforting staff.

The reason for the five stars is definitely not for the hospital in General but for dr. Ferrari I couldn't say enough good things about him after my fourth trip there in 3 days I was actually seen by d dr. Ferrari my fourth visit I was in and out of there within two hours he not only made me feel comfortable but I got more accomplished by seeing him than I did my last three visits I was there last night sat in the waiting room 3 and 1/2 hours and when I was brought back I won't mention any names out of respect but the doctor on call and her nurse should probably find a new profession being in the field that they're in you have a lot of contact with humans they acted like I was from Mars they didn't come near me nor did they introduce themselves I seen both of them for maybe 30 seconds and I was out of there only to return today and worst condition thank you Doctor Ferrari for all you did for me today ..

Very kind and competent staff from the ER doctor and nurses to the doctor and nurses on 4 West. My 88 year old father has pneumonia and dementia. I called from out of state twice a day for updates and felt well informed.
Such a challenging job!
Thank-you for caring!

This hospital was very good. They treated my spouse better than the past three hospitals she went to for mental health problems and they found the right medicine to treat her mental illness.. In my eyes, they saved her life and gave her inspiration and motivation to live again. Thank you so much for all the RNs, sitters, and phycologist hard work and patience for sticking by my spouse’s side for a whole month.

My 16 year old son and I were in a m/c accident on 10/01/16. I was severely injured but I am alive and will enjoy a near-full recovery because of Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. It started with the incredible response time of Sonoma County Sherriff's Henry 1 and continued with the care I received from that point on. My trauma surgeons, their surgical assistants and anesthesiologists, the post care I received from the amazing team of nurse practitioners and nurses, care partners, handlers, physical therapists all the way through to my discharge 24 nights later with my case workers; more than 46 names are on my list of who's who list of caregivers whom together saw to improve my condition, both physically and spiritually. Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital is home to an A-Team of caregivers. We could not have been in better hands and we could not be more thankful.

A dog bite me at Jan 25th 6pm. And then policemen save me and then send me to this hospital. The doctors and nurses treated on me very quickly and gave me a tetanus shot and pain relief pill . they're look like my family people. I took off the fear after then. I'm very very appreciate for them. They have high efficiency and warm love to customer.

Recently I've been to their ER twice once for myself and once for my boyfriend. Both times we were in and out in a reasonable time. We went in for 2 different things and had all the needed tests done. The ER sees their patients based on how severe their illness or injury is. So people who complain about sitting for 8+ hours are probably in for something low on the list and more acute patients have come in before or after. Also they can only have so many people in the back based on their availability of beds. Also one must keep in mind that durning this time of year that more people need to be seen. If you're not super sick or it's after urgent cares close. You should try to go to an urgent care first so that ERs will be open for the people who are in acute situations that need to be seen in the ER.

I went into the ER in May 2023 and staff was great and they took care of me right away. I was in there for the normal time of an ER appointment.
