Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks-Griffin Memorial Park, Mortuary & Crematory

At a time in our family's life that's filled with emotions, challenges, and a lot of things to coordinate, I cannot commend the staff at Pierce Brothers more highly than I do! They were exceptionally focused on delivering the highest standard of customer service -- helping us through this time and looking after every detail. I would anticipate that our expectations and concerns required a higher level of planning than many families request, but they managed every detail to ensure that nothing was overlooked. One quick snapshot will illustrate my point: The family's floral tributes were prepared by a local floral designer. Steve from the Pierce Brothers "team" asked how they were being brought for the service. When I said that I was planning to bring them over, he quickly made the arrangements and personally went and picked them up; he just wanted one more item crossed off of my list to make that special day easier for all of us. I highly recommend that you seriously consider the group of professionals at Pierce Brothers for the arrangements for your loved one.

Our family was very impressed by the professionalism and compassion that Pierce Brothers showed us during this very sad time in our lives. Brittany Ho Sing Loy was excellent to work with and everything went very smoothly for us. We were there just three years ago when my sister passed away and we were also very happy with everything. At that time we were referred to Reverend Jonathan Mulford. He was excellent. My sister was severely mentally disabled and Reverend Jonathon was so empathetic, kind and gentle in his delivery as our officiant. We knew if we ever had another occasion, we would call on him...and we did. He was perfect for us again. We are of the Jewish faith, but not that religious. He was able to incorporate what we wanted and needed perfectly. I hope I call him next time for a happy occasion! I know he officiates weddings too. Thank you to Pierce Brother's for taking such good care of us and referring us to Rev. Jonathan Mulford. He truly brought a lot of light to an otherwise very dark day.

Karina Fernandez is exceptional at what she does. She is caring and kind and makes you feel comforatble during a difficult time.

I recently used the services at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks-Griffin Memorial Park, Mortuary and Crematory to cremate and inter a family member. The grounds are beautifully manicured and maintained and easy to access. The high degree of compassion, professionalism and courtesy provided by the entire team - from the pre-planning stage through the interment - was much appreciated and beyond what I had anticipated. Our beloved sister passed away unexpectedly. Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks-Griffin Mortuary & Crematory just happened to be the facility our sister's body was taken to due to proximity. While we do not have any comparisons with other mortuaries in LA County, we can strongly state that should you have a need, this is the place you can be assured of for all the caring and tenderness you will need to see you through a terrible time, and will care for your loved one as ours was.
