Morena’s Taqueria

This is one of the few places in the area to include homemade tortillas!! I ordered the Chicken Combination Plate that came with tortillas too and it was really good! If you’re looking for a taqueria with amazing tortillas this is the place to go to.

Michoacan Mexican food. Not all Mexican food is equal. This place has some southern Mexico traits. Some people love it some people hate it. Try them out. Best hand made corn made tortilla

Outstanding menudo! There is a dish served at this establishment that I can not pronounce, how ever it was so good I am going back today! Comes in a sizzling black bowl, roasted shrimp, beef chicken and roasted cheese. I actually had a dream about it last night.

It’s abt to go down enchiladas and a sopes yummy let’s see.
The food is perfect. I love it and we will be coming back soon with the family.

I went today labor day weekend sept 6 2021 ,love this place for the delicious food and especially the albondigas soup, but the time waiting for the food takes too long for a small restaurant like this and service needs way to much to improve is really slow and make you don't wanna come back again so this time from 1 to 10 im gonna give a 4 on service ...

Best Mexican food in Ceres, Ca for sure! My caldo de Rez waz bomb! And unlike other restaurants they were very generous with the meat. And to top it off they had giant homemade tortillas!! MY kids portion sizes were huge as well as mine. You get what you pay for excellent excellent food 💯👌🤗💫

Best birria and menudo in town. It gets super crowded but it's worth it.

Known for their menudo but the other items are great too. Keep in mind they've moved down the street.

Love the quesabirrias from here. Huge portion and the Birria de res is the best around. Would definitely recommend.

Tried the birria de chivo that I have wanted to try for a while now. It was as good as expected! Wife had the quesabirria tacos and they were amazing. Order came with two tacos, but they were made on 8" tortillas at least. She could only eat one. I helped with the leftovers! 😁

OMG! Relatives came in from Texas, it was late night and we stopped here by accident. Best food detour I made as it turned out. We ordered a nice amount of food to go so the family could wind down at my son's house. The Pozole was amazing, the rolled tacos and the regular tacos were great, plus the rice and beans and burrito were wonderful! I will DEFINITELY go back when I visit Ceres and I highly recommend this spot. I'm very picky about Mexican food because I lived across the street from a wonderful couple who spoiled me with homemade everything when it came to Mexican food, down to the tortillas and tamales! So don't give me that fake stuff. This place is definitely not fake.
