This place is fun to look at, especially when they have their annual Neighborhood event on the first Saturday of June. They do offer plane rides, but it'll cost you $ to take a private tour around the Spokane area. Overall, they have good history lessons for you to read at the Spokane Airport Building.

A nice display of vintage planes. Many were in the air which is very special. Heartwarming to see so many young families.

Just flew in and out of Felts for the first time today, and it was simple and easy. The taxiways are well laid out, and the tower personnel were very easy to work with. Gave us plenty of time to do our startup, taxi and runup-- and a simple handshake over to Spokane Departure on takeoff.

The return about 3 hours later was just as simple-- I dialed in the weather, called the tower, they gave me 2 right, and... on the ground and back to the hangars.

I've been told that the cafe on the field has a "Blue light club" for those who have smacked a taxiway light. Gotta go check that out while I'm here in town! Anyway-- nice field!

I love this old airstrip, rich in history & love watching the air traffic. The restaurant there is awful tho; you'll leave still hungry. A little tuna sandwich is $8.50 & only comes w/a bag of potato chips. But if u want an interesting picnic pack a lunch & sit in the shade under the trees & watch the air traffic.

Our company flies out of here. Great FBO services. In addition they have a great little restaurant called the skyway Cafe which I highly recommend. There is also a small air museum at felts. Definitely worth checking out.
