Absolutely in love with this place! So much more than a gym. It's not so crowded that I have to wait to use the weights or machines. Plenty of floor space all throughout the facility for stretching or lifting weights in the mirror. Im rather new to working out but the staff and patrons here make me feel so comfortable, not in the least bit intimidated. If you're looking for a comfortable place with plenty of extra activities then this is the place for you!

Best decision I've made in a long time. As a swimmer, an outside pool is the closest thing to nirvana there is. The entire facility is spotless, the ladies' locker room is always stocked (thank you, Maria, Rosa and Althelia) and super clean, everything works, and there are tons of classes. The segregated steam/sauna/Jacuzzi are a huge plus for women who need a respite from ogling. Staff is on top of it, first rate. This is money well spent. They have lots of bike racks right in front of the entrance where they're supposed to be so you can ride in and not have to fight traffic.

Hands down the best gym in the Sacramento area, although the prices are higher than average keep in mind you get unlimited towel service, clean areas with around the clock janitorial service, one of the only gyms with a large steam room and sauna for both men and women, as well as you get amazing personal trainers like Tyler, super friendly staff, Parking Garage access or street parking, a two story complex featuring basketball court, pool, jacuzzis, Large Cardio and weight rooms, plenty of space to wonder and do your stretches. The building also has an awesome hair cutting salon. There is also a private conference room. You can also get a daily laundry service included in your 2nd tier membership!

Awesome & friendly people and staff. Awesome gym. There’s no shortage of towels and they are always on top of cleanliness. Separate women’s sauna/jacuzzi from men. May seem a bit on the higher price range, but the services, amenities, and staff support definitely is worth it. Brooke has been very helpful in answering all of my questions.

Hands down one of the best gym options in Sacramento. I love the staff and the cleanliness of the place. I had moved to the Monterey area and when I came back to Sac, I knew I would return. It feels like home. The staff were even happy I returned. Great community.

Capitol athletic club is an amazing experience.
I feel blessed to have the privilege of being a member. I have a limited membership which has worked perfect for me because I only come to town twice a month. While I’m here I have time to kill and look forward every time I come
And have the best workouts here in my life. Very relaxing too, unlimited clean towels, I feel like a king every time I enter the place and leave especially with the free parking validation and the shuttle. Hands down best kept secret athletic club in Sacramento.
I highly recommend at least going in and asking for a free three day trial pass, you won’t regret it. Staff is awesome. Sincerely,

Excellent club highly recommended. Friendly professional staff, excellent equipment and pool. I like the locker rooms, very clean with two types of sauna and jacuzzi in both male and female. There is a wide variety of classes included in membership. Parking for club members across street.

Great staff and facility they are closing for good today 12/31/23

They have parking in a garage now. They have wonderful staff. This place is clean. Staff is great. And the legendary stories you hear are priceless. Excellent club highly recommended. Friendly professional staff, excellent equipment and pool. There is a wide variety of classes included in membership. The staff nature is so good and I would highly recommended The Capital Athletic Club.

I play racquetball here and love the staff and members. We play racquetball with some of the staff and they are always so personable. I highly recommend this club to anyone who wants to have a family environment when they come to the gym. Because they aren't a chain they really can get to know everyone.

Best gym/ health club Ever.

Nice place. Great staff. Good equipment. Never a wait for equipment. Many exercise classes to choose from. Just join and enjoy.

CAC is an outstanding place with great classes and other amenities to increase your work out goals.

What a great place to spend your time. Recently started. Everyone is very nice(staff and members). I'm there twice a day.

I just joined and really like this place. Yes, it’s pricey but it’s well worth it. The people are nice and the staff is awesome. It’s not crowded.
