Carboni's Ristorante

I visited this restaurant a couple of times during a weekend getaway. The food was DELICIOUS! I highly recommend the Bolognese and 'Burger and Brews.' Chef Aaron has made this a 'must visit restaurant' if going to Winters.

Been coming here for about a year now, i love to cook and I also love good quality food. Carbonis is my local answer. The bartenders are extremely friendly and will give great recommendations. The servers are all very friendly. They have windows that look into the kitchen, where you can watch the food being prepared. And the love and thought that goes into the food is above standards for sure! Ps if you stare for too long the cooks make jokes. Pretty funny. 😆🤣

Had a great time at Carboni's! Arrived and went straight to the bar and got the Walnut Old Fashion, and let me tell you... DELICIOUS. Sat down after and munched on a few apps and then went for the Hanger Steak... again, DELICIOUS! I definitely recommend!

Loved the atmosphere and the presentation of the dishes. The salad and pasta were really good. The cheese in them was creamy and fresh. The deserts(both chocolate and cannoli)were bad. The biscuit which came with the chocolate was awful. Tried their sangria, it was good.

We’ve been dining at Carboni’s since they first opened. They had some struggles in the beginning, but have really got a great thing going now. They have some great bartenders and servers, and the food has been excellent and consistent. We love the Diavola pizza, tagliatelle salad, and the rigatoni. I had the Bronzino (sea bass) a couple weeks ago, and it was awesome too! Great service and ambiance!

After reading some of the reviews I was reluctant in keeping our dinner reservations. We are so happy we did. The handcrafted cocktails were very good. The pasta dishes were fantastic. Fresh ingredients and full of good flavors. Great Caesar salad! Ooooo and the olive oil dip for your bread was amazing! I would eat here again!

This place is amazing. Super fancy. Food was excellent. Served was beyond amazing. Will be back for sure.

Stopped on the way back from hiking in Lassen. A lovely surprise on a road trip. My husband had the pesto pizza and I the rigatoni. Really good!

I just want to start off by saying that I don’t know why this place has such bad reviews. My girlfriend and I were in town for the weekend and ordered room service. Everything from the phone call to placing our order was outstanding and the food was even better. My girlfriend and I both got a burger cooked medium and it was cooked to perfection. It was one of the best burgers I have ever had. The bun was so fresh, fluffy, soft with a nice exterior texture. The bacon was flavorful, crunchy yet soft at the same time. The onion rings had a delicious crunch and the sauce just topped it off to becoming one of my favorite burgers ever. The fries were delicious as well. They had a crunchy exterior with a nice fluffy interior. They paired perfectly with the burger. We also ordered a pizza. I believe it was the Diavola or something like that, but it was delicious as well. The pickled chili’s on top gave it a sweet yet spicy kick that was different from any other pizza I have had before. The sauce and pepperoni tasted so fresh and the crust had a nice fluffy crunch to it. I would hands down recommend this restaurant to anyone that is looking for something delicious to eat. Let this place be the next stop on your trip, you won’t regret it!!!

Every visit feels like a special occasion here. A great dining experience.

We ate at Carboni’s Friday.night. Our food was terrific. I read reviews it was bland, but we felt everything we had was fresh and light. Our server (can’t remember his name) was attentive without being intrusive. The Gelato was delicious, but my favorite was the polenta and meatballs! Definitely worth the 20 minutes to Winters!!!

I'm super impressed with our latest experience here. Ordered dinner for take out for our family and all four dishes exceeded our expectations. The pasta dishes, the burger and the breaded chicken sandwich were very good. Portion sizes were spot on as well. Well done, we'll be back for sure

Great place for a friends get-together after an afternoon in the park. Specialty drink menu is varied and all we tried were delish! On to dinner at an indoor table. Service was excellent, attention to water needs and bread/oil refills was prompt. Recommend trying any of the pastas or pizzas, as all we tried were cooked perfectly and tasty! Only frown was the halibut as it tasted more like frozen, not fresh caught, fish. Becoming one of our favs in Winters.

The service and food was wonderful. Everything tasted great!!! I had a craving for a hot fudge sundae and they don't have it on the menu but the waitress made magic happen for me! I had a wonderful experience and will be returning!

A great addition to the already wonderful Winters food scene in the new long-awaited Hotel Winters. We went for drinks and a bite at the bar during their first busy weekend and everything went smoothly. The decidely Italian fare – of the little bit we sampled – was tasty, with well-executed pizza crust and delicious housemade pasta. Service was friendly and prompt. The decor was simple and modern-rustic, but could have used some softer touches (like flowers or warmer lighting maybe.) A prominent bar when you walk in the main street entrance is flanked by the main dining area on one side – with high ceilings, brick walls, large windows, and exhibition kitchen – and on the other side, a set of small booths and mini marketplace/food-to-go area nearer to the hotel lobby. Looks promising, can't wait to explore the other menus.

We had Monica as a waitress this evening. She was an absolute pleasure. She gave us advice for restaurants and breweries to try during the next few nights of our trip. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If you can, absolutely request to have Monica as your waitress and you will not be disappointed.

It was Very elegant, delicious, friendly and outstanding service.
I asked lots of questions and our server explained everything. Drinks were yummy. Love the drink Purple Rain.

Delicious pasta. Courteous and professional service. Gorgeous ambiance in the courtyard. My partner and I had a great meal and started recommending the place to family/friends. Will return for more yummy meals!

Very nice surprise. The food was awesome. Indoor and outdoor dining. If you like Italiano food, put this place on your list. They have a full service bar and the servers are awesome.

Nice cocktails, delicious and unique italian food, and waitstaff that are very kind and work hard. Looking forward to heading back soon! The meatballs are to die for!
