I received an answer very promptly. Aaron answered all my questions that I had and was very kind. Thank you for your help!

People rarely make reviews when they are satisfied so I’ll be the one person that leaves a good one.

If your employer is breaking any human rights laws. They won't do anything. We should explore defending this department using the ballot initiative process. This is something we pay for through our taxes and they don't do their job

We can do better !

UPDATE: 12/16/2023
Waiting for someone to call me about a message I left this establishment. I spoke to a man that informed me that there is a new person in charge at the Human Rights Commission, his name is Jim, not sure his last name. The Al Angelo Company in Vancouver Washington is retaliating against my 70 year old disabled individual. Resending an approved reasonable accommodation made DURING a fair housing complaint (to appease the human rights commission, then resending this approval as Heidi Termer did not properly investigate, the Al Angelo Company. My disabled mother has been renting from the Al Angelo Company in Vancouver Washington for 30 years! Her disability is NO SECRET. My mom then put in another reasonable accommodation via email. Nicole Kraig with the Al Angelo Company sent this reasonable accommodation to legal. My mom is extremely sad over this, and she is a heart patient. Section 504 is obviously no longer being enforced in this country. It is a sad sad thing when Judy Hermann passed away, and now her legacy is being crushed by people that are sworn to enforce these laws.

UPDATE: 10/30/2023
My senior mother received the final decision from Heidi Termer stating that there was "NO REASONABLE CAUSE" pertaining to her being harassed by Pet Screening AND the property management group. I read through all of their "findings", and boy, this Heidi Termer is a damn liar. I'm going to the East Coast soon, and will be visiting the Federal Fair Housing building to file a formal complaint against this "investigator", for not treating my America born mother the way she has treated those of color, and those from other countries. She refused to address both complaints. There is no such thing as Human Rights, at least NOT American rights. See you in court

WOW, so it seems as though my review has been removed. My disabled senior citizen mother was treated like absolute trash by the management group where she lives. She filed 2 separate discrimination complaints. Heidi Termer refuses to address both complaints. If you don't want to do your job, give it to someone that does. There is no such thing as Human Rights in Washington state. The Attorney General even stated that they don't deal with situations like this. Sad sad State to live in with all of the government officials being discriminatory.

I contacted various lawyers to help me with a civil rights case and they all told me to contact Human Rights Commission.

What a joke that institution is. 2+ weeks ago, I tried to call (no answer), left a voice mail (no return calls), snail mailed them via post office (no single acknowledgement or replies), emailed them (nothing, zip, nada).

What a joke.

I filled a claim in September of 2019 and haven't received any feedback whatsoever.. No phone calls are being returned. No accountability of any kind. No wonder local governments in Washington act as they wish. Total embarrassment for the State of Washington... Why bother passing progressive laws if nothing is being practically enforced. Tax payers support an agency that does nothing.. How is this even possible?

One would think that a state like Washington would have a robust agency for workers, but it certainly isn't this one. They are impossible to contact, have very thin knowledge of actual employment law and regulation, and they honestly simply don't care if or when the cases get resolved. It's actually pretty sad and shameful that THIS is what people have to deal with in this state.

My God! The one star reviews are fairly accurate. No one answers their phones, and when they do, they are rude, confrontational, and intolerant. The agency employees work culture takes advantage of an obvious lack of direct oversight and supervision. Everyone always appears to be "on leave" or "at training", but their training does not appear to improve their bad attitudes. Laziness, ineptitude, and gross negligence reign supreme.

The WHRC agency exists to help people who are not able to help themselves. Instead, of acknowledging their charter obligations, the employees appear to demonstrate hostility and desire to further demean and degrade the people they are supposed to be helping.
