Chelsea Appraisal

I would rate this in the negative if it was possible. The appraiser named Steve lost us our loan due to false information. He put in the wrong water rights number to our home and also failed to add in that we had a replacement furnace we just hadn't put it in due to it being almost summer. Due to these things we were denied our loan.

We were denied because your appraiser put the wrong water rights number on his appraisal .Therefore it showed we had an unfinished home. We were perfectly happy with the appraisal amount. So yes your appraiser is the reason for the denial of our loan .He also left out specific info that played a part in our denied loan. If your company paid attention to detail and obviously listen to the clients I wouldn't be the only one giving you a bad review.

Chelsea falsified my appraisal, lied to the bank and to me. I have text and emails to prove it. She believes that she is an engineer but is not licensed or has any qualifications. Yet she makes decisions that appraisers cannot do. She will not accept letters from licensed engineers and contractors if it goes against her "opinion". The banks in my area, mountain america, America First refuse to use her anymore. I am not the first or the last that she has screwed over. I am filing an official complaint as well as my neighbors are doing. I have also contacted an attorney because she actually cost me several thousands of dollars.

UPDATE: In response to Owner's comment. Her claiming that the house had structural foundation issues when she is not an engineer or contractor is a huge problem. Her telling me that she would accept letters from licensed contractors stating that there is no foundation issues but then still puts in her report that there was structural foundations issues is 100% a lie. The value of the house was irrelevant to me as it didn't matter the price that it appraised at because it was listed for so low. Even with the falsified report, it still appraised for more than I needed or even hoped for. She was not objective in any way. My list about her goes on and on about things that she did.

I find it interesting that everyone that has worked with Chelsea in my whole county, has had several issues. But I can we can just chalk that up to whatever you want to call it.
