The City takes good care of this beautiful park A variety of activities to entertain seem to fill the calendar on any month. There are historic buildings and several statues of founders and veterans along with their stories that can keep your attention for a while. Kudos to the many hands that create this wonderful place to visit.

Unique 3-story slides makes this park special. Lots of shade and covered picnic areas with an adjacent restroom.

Great little park for kids to get out and stretch their legs. Playground area is newish with some good tall slides. Big field and covered picnic area. There’s also a built in grill that can be used if your looking to do an outdoor BBQ. During the summer months Washington city is know to frequently put on movie nights in the park that include fun music, food trucks, and all around good times. Very family friendly events!

This is a really nice park, Pavillion, playground (no swings), a huge lawn with shade trees, and public restrooms/ drinking water fountain. We like this semi private area. Oh, and it is $50 to rent. You have to reserve it 7 days before the actually date you want it 😁

What a fun little park and grassy area! My family and I really enjoyed playing on the big and tall playscape, and the bathrooms were one of the cleanest public bathrooms I’ve ever seen. Lots of good seating for picnics or just sitting to enjoy the beautiful trees.

The spring flowers were lovely. Fun playground for kids. Picnic tables needed cleaning, but a fun place to eat and play. A nice Bowery and more picnic tables around the lawn.

Small but beautiful park in honor of those that have fought, served and gave their lives for the freedoms we have in this country. The park has shade and picnic tables along with plaques and names of those heros.

Seeing this little town of which I am now a part, celebrate the way we did in AZ 50 years ago was a treat! That is what I was going for when I moved here. It hasn't disappointed yet! 😍🇺🇲

Small and quaint in the best of ways, definitely a very nice spot to sit down, relax while taking in the outdoors and remembering all of the past local service members of Washington.

This is a lovely place to take a stroll. I don't know why I never did before! Next time you go to the city offices to pay your bill, take a few moments to wander through this park and enjoy the flowers. You might learn a bit of history in front of the museum too.

The park is very clean. The kids loved climbing on the playground and sliding on the slides. There was live music and a movie when we went so that was exciting and great to experience.

The tallest playground slides I have ever seen! Great for older kids (5+ I would say). They have to climb a rope ladder to get to the top level of the slides, so it's easiest if they can do it by themselves. I just spent the time lifting my little kids up each time they wanted to go down the slides. Overall, an excellent park. Definitely coming back.

Okay, first off, this playground is not the best for children under 5. But if you have bigger children (or very coordinated smaller children who love a challenge) this park is amazing! My climbers did not want to leave.

Mostly visited for the fields or pavilion, the playground here tends to grow a bit stale for older children but is nonetheless enjoyable enough. Like most parks in the county it is kept remarkably clean, with functioning bathrooms and cold water as an added boon.

Love this park. Lots of green for picnics and for kids to run around on. Lots of slides of verging heights and styles. Safe and fun rope course throughout. Shaded picnic tables. And at least 2 bathrooms that I saw.

Our kids had a blast and it was compact enough that we didn't feel like we had to chase them around to keep an eye on them.

Will be going back again sometime

If tomorrow all my things were gone
I'd work for all my life.
And I had had to start again,
With just my children and my wife.
And I'd think my lucky stars to be livin' here today,
Cause the flag still stand for freedom and they can't take that away

[Chorus]
And I'm proud to be an American
Where at least I know I'm free
And I won't forget the ones who died who gave that right to me
And I'll gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today
Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land, God Bless the USA.

From the lakes of Minnesota, to the hills of Tennessee,
Across the plains of Texas, from sea to shining sea.
From Detroit down to Houston and New York to LA,
Well there's pride in every American heart and it's time we stand and say

[Chorus]

'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land
God bless the USA!
