I have been sledding here for 40 plus years!! If you have kids take them here when it snows.. just make sure to teach them how to bail out of their sled if they are heading towards a tree:)

Another park I have always loved. My kids and I grew up at this park. Has a lot of the best amenities for the Valley. It has Splashdown, a community pool, baseball field, and an awesome playground that has been recently updated the past few years.

It's well upkept and the patio area is perfect for gatherings like today. Perfect place to let the kids run around and play while you either play on the pull up bar or sit back and relax and watch them.

This park is right in front of Splash Down and is big, beautiful and popular. The amenities include:
1. A playground
2. A baseball diamond, tennis and basketball courts.
3. A pool (available as of June 15th, rn it's drained)
4. A large sheltered picnic area, with outlets and electricity with 12 heavy duty metal picnic benches that seat 8 a piece. (You can rent this shelter for parties. No water games or inflatable water slides fyi.)
5. A large fenced in area, and stables for riding horses in.
6. Access to Splash Down.

The only thing it doesn't have is a splash pad, but with a pool and Splash Down, that is bit necessary.

My dog likes this park. Aot of shade in the summer and good areas to run for playing fetch. Also, it is very clean and has no drug addicts loitering and no homeless camps or violent guests.

Nice place to take the dogs for a walk. Usually quiet on the weekdays.

This is the park right next to Splashdown! Which is the water slide park on the south side of I-90 freeway, between the Argonne & Pines exits. This park has 2 large parking lots shared with Splashdown!, and there are plenty of handicap spots. The park has a large picnic shelter with numerous metal tables with attached benches. There are plenty of garbage cans, there are clean bathrooms, & a playground, along with a large grassy area. I was there with some HAM radio hobbyists, having a BBQ. While we were there, a large group of college age adults showed up to play LARP (Live Action Role Play), basically, they dress up un armour from the Medieval days, & the women in similar dresses, & they play sword fight with wooden & plastic swords & other archaic weapons. It was actually rather interesting to watch, & they were a super friendly group. They invited several of us HAMS over & they showed us all their equipment & play weaponry & explained how everything is constructed, & what it's purpose is. I really like this park. Very family friendly & safe.

Awesome park! We took my toddler today to play here. There are two playgrounds, a swing set and rock climbing structures. There are beautiful, tall trees that encircle the playground area and lots of grass nearby to frolic in. My daughter enjoyed swinging and watching the squirrels and birds. It is well maintained and very clean.

It's a great place to bring your kids to have a birthday party. It's also great to sled down the hills in the winter snow also. The sledding is free as well. Good place to have company picnics or large gatherings. They have a coveted area with benches that is good for entertaining.

This is one of our favorite parks. It is well maintained. There is plenty of shade and seating. The children love all the equipment options as well as the grass field to run and play. The trees around the park are an excellent addition.

Great park. Good alternative to EdgeCliff but absolutely ZERO shade (around the play area and swings) during the day

Nice play area, picnic tables, place to play baseball and a water park, Splash Down. I’m the winter time it is a well know place for sledding, however sled at your own risk....I would be careful it can hurt....Also a off leash dog area.

The dogs highly enjoyed spending an hour and a half playing with other dogs. The other dog owners were very friendly and kept control of their dogs. My dogs will definitely be going there again.

It's just very nice to have a decent park close to home. Kids can walk there, and they enforce the speed around it vigilantly.

Cool place! There are two fenced in areas.... One for large dogs and the other for smaller. Tunnels, balls and plenty of space for them to have a blast.
