I'm '67 years old I've had my driver's license since I was '16. I have never from up north to the Eastside and now in the south east of wa,st, . Have I ever had a better experience with the D,M,V, until today in Lacey. From the greeter at the door to the gal at the teller type window. They were polite and well spoken. Renewal and address change and I was out of there in 20 minutes. Keep up the good work Lacey D,M,V, Staff.🧙‍♂👍

I came to transfer my license and employees in this office are friendly & professional. I was seen right away at my appointment time and was out in 10 minutes. Highly recommend it.

Simply outstanding. Moved here from out of state and needed to get a WA license. Online appointment scheduling was a breeze, availability was reasonable. I found the necessary document requirements online. I arrived for my appointment about 10 minutes early and was seen early. Staff were friendly (yes!) and efficient. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. Best licensing experience I have ever had.

The best experience for a DOL you'll find. These guys have their act together! In and out in 10min for a renewal. Great job!!

I've only been here once, so this review is based on limited experience, but my visit this morning was flawless. I used the DoL virtual check-in service with my appointment, was immediately called to counter 9 upon arrival, and the staff member helped me quickly, efficiently, and with great care and kindness.

It's amazing watching state agencies grow up and become more effective in their mission.

It's been 4 years since I've been in Washington state and my second experience in getting my picture ID. The process was done so very professional. There was no waiting line. My amazing and awesome clerk with a name tag of ANANDA was seriously genuine in her communication with me. She was totally informative. First impressions DO last a long time. Thank you for being there for me in my time of need.

Surprisingly fast when I was there to get a Real ID license. The wait was only about 10 minutes. The extremely cheerful person who helped me said it sometimes gets to be as long as an hour wait. Apparently 11 am on a weekday is a perfect time to go.

Only regret is that I didn’t get his name… he was so pleasant and just a great energy! He helped us at window 10. Great experience we had an appointment at 9 before we even sat down we were called over and out the door 10 minutes later. Amazing process and he made it such a better experience. Thank you!! Give him a raise!!

Okay, now the last time I had to go to a licensing place it was a nightmare.Located by pet smart in Lacey it's super easy to find the sign on the building was nice and visual massive parking. Everyone was very welcoming and made the process amazingly easy. My wait time was about 15 minutes and I was there Friday around 10am not to many people in line and they had a good number of windows open.Didnt get a chance to check out the bathrooms but the seating area was very clean and had good flow and organized.

It was excellent there! This location was too busy. Thus, was able to take my "walk-in" transaction of changing my out-of-state license into one for Washington State. Everyone I've interacted with were kind and considerate. Before I knew it, my transaction was done and I was on my way. I give high marks as I'm quite conditioned to the endless crowds and rude employees of your typical California DMV. It's quite the opposite in Washington State! 😎👍

Wow! First time at this new location and I am very impressed with how fast it was. I had called customer service and after only a few options I was speaking to a real person, he kindly set me up for an appointment later that day at the time I requested.. I arrived at my appointment a few minutes early and the front desk checked me in and my number was called before i could sit down. The process to renew the license was fast and convenient.. a huge improvement from my experience at the other location. Thanks guys!

This is the smoothest by far DMV I’ve been to. QUICK, FAST, FRIENDLY service. I would advise setting an appointment due to these businesses being busy and overall thumbs up from me.

This is by far the best DOL that I have ever dealt with. Very helpful when I had to transfer my daughter's car into my name. Then a couple of weeks later when I returned for another issue, they remembered me from the visit before and was just as helpful this time as well. I used to hate going to the DOL, but these two experiences made it where I look forward to going and doing my stuff in person rather than online.

We didn't have an appointment but the greeter got us in very quickly and provided us a ticket with only 2 patrons ahead of us. The lady who helped us was extremely friendly and got things done quickly and professionally. It's was an overall easy and happy experience. My son is on his way to driving! Wish I remembered her name for recognition

Lots of checks and needed an appointment. Took only about 2 extra minutes to get in and there were a few chairs but empty ones to sit in. So I sat down and relaxed. A few minutes later I was called to desk 11 and the date was Dec 6th.

I was greeted with a happy voice and by a very cheerful person. She was very nice and chatted me through the process.

One of the best experiences I have had in a DOL and a top one for these days.

Everybody at this office has been nice, friendly, helpful, and patient with me every time I go in. I often need help filling out paperwork because I did it wrong at home, and they’re always very understanding and helpful. Been here a few times and this is always the outcome. Thank you!

They have 2 lines outside. One line for walk-ins and one for appointments. My appointment was at 2pm and I was done by 2:23pm. I needed to get a new WA state license because I recently moved here from Atlanta GA. Everyone working here is friendly. Very fast and pleasant experience 😊

Super speedy and for what it was (replaced DL) painless. Went at the end of the week and in the middle am. Not much of a wait + excellent service! :D

Pro tip for us low income Muggles: Get a letter confirming you are a DSHS consumer - eg, one for DoL. License fee is then only $5. Ask at DSHS customer service/800 number. I was last week years-old when I learned about this. Part of a change in state law. Unhoused folks can request an "Identikit". <

I scheduled an appointment online and got there earlier than the appointment time and I was out of there before my scheduled appointment time. Impressed with how efficient they have become. Everybody was nice. The bathroom was clean.
