As a physician I presented to Matt Hammons DDS with a toothache on a Thursday. He told me I need the molar needed to be extracted and arranged for me to have oral surgery the next morning done by his colleague. Extraction. Bone graft, Implant. And ~$5,000 cash. Initially I believed him. But I didn’t ever get a definitive diagnosis or clear justification for removing a tooth that was aching. I consulted my previous dentist who was in another state. He advised me NOT TO REMOVE A PERFECTLY GOOD TOOTH for a toothache and gave me instructions to calm down the ache. A few days later the tooth was back to normal. As a board certified surgeon I cannot recommend Dr Hammons. BEWARE.
