This place serves up top notch food. I was at Tamm Ave bar and saw someone with their burger, and I knew after seeing and smelling it that I had to have one. I ordered the single cheeseburger with American cheese and their special sauce. It’s a great smash burger. One of the best in STL. The meat quality is top notch. However, if you were to have one thing from here it would have to be the pastrami. The rye bread is the best I’ve ever had. The pastrami is smoked in-house along with the bacon they put on it, and it takes it over the edge. You would be yourself a disservice not to try the pastrami!

I work near Nomad and gave them a try for the first time today. I heard they had a killer pastrami sandwich, and I was not misled. It was phenomenal! The pastrami was smoky and tender, the rye bread was soft and a perfect base for the sandwich. The sauce and Swiss cheese complimented the pastrami and rye well.

The fries and fry sauce were also excellent! Good portions, too, I'm stuffed! I usually like to take pictures of what I get at restaurants to share with others, but this smelled so good that I tore into it and forgot.

Bottom line, don't miss out. Do yourself a favor and try Nomad!

Outstanding food and a hip vibe. Had the smoked pastrami sandwich and Brussel sprouts. The bar keep had an awesome attitude.

The pastrami is an absolute must-try. The pastrami is perfectly cooked where the slices are uniform and tender. You also get over a half pound of pastrami (9 oz) in the sandwich for $14. After I ate their pastrami sandwich, I went back immediately to buy additional 2 pounds of pastrami to take home to make my own sandwiches. Highly recommend trying this place out, especially as it is next door to Tamm Ave, where they will bring your food to you in the bar.

Stopped by for lunch on our way west. Delicious sandwiches and burgers. I had their pastrami sandwich, a delicious spin on the Ruben: smoky with a delicious home sauce. The Kimchi Brussels sprouts were a great option to get instead of fries, and easy to share. Thanks for yummy food! Loved the hints of The Office decor.

The pastrami sandwich is absolutely to die for! So so good, my husband talks about it all the time. We also enjoyed some drinks and salads as well as the arancini and nothing disappointed. Cannot wait to go back sometime when we find ourselves in STL.

We ordered the Pastrami Sandwich, Kimchi Brussel Sprouts, and the Pickled Beet Salad. Cool space that goes on and on with a bar and a game room in the back. The pastrami sandwich had an amazing smoky flavor with a mild heat to it. The Brussels sprouts were charred to perfection with a tangy kick of kimchi and sprinkled with sesame seeds. Pickled beet salad was great with the pastrami sandwich. Staff was very friendly and offered a huge selection of beers and mixed drink. We’ll definitely be back.

Normally, I despise Brussels Sprouts, but this restaurant elevated them to new heights with the kimchi fries. Not only that, but the sandwich was delicious. The meat inside was perfectly smoked. This is probably one of my favorite sandwich joints in Saint Louis.

Very cool atmosphere, the back covered heated patio / bar is fantastic. The food is incredible. The Pastrami Poutine tastes like the best smoked Bacon on fries with cheese - must try!

This place was so good the fries were amazing, my wife got their double deuce I got their salami sandwich, it had a smoky after taste. A must stop place, and they have a bar right next door. An apparently they are very famous for their salami but idk that's what the cashier told me, guess everyone has to see for themselves.

Upon walking in, this joint smelled amazing. I knew then we made the right choice in choosing this restaurant to eat after our trip to the zoo. The owner took our order and was very friendly. You can tell he puts his all into the food and the service. We all got the pastrami sandwiche and can confirm that it is the best pastrami sandwich I've ever eaten. Whenever we come back to STL we're going straight here.

Y’all this place is INSANE! Amazing food amazing service. The owner, Tommy is amazing! Keith Lee needs to come to this place that’s how good it is! Full of flavor, BIG portions so the price is definitely worth it!

The food and experience was excellent! We happened in here by chance and it will now be our go to food spot in Dogtown it was that good! I had the pastrami burger and my partner had the cauliflower gyro. Great experience as we ended up in good conversation w/the bartender and then the chef almost the whole time.

My Veggie Burger with Creole Mustard Potato Salad were incredibly good. (The plant-based burger is way better than what you might get elsewhere.) Some friends had the pastrami on cheeseburger which they all loved. We did dine-in and the service was good, zero complaints. It's a lovely medium-sized restaurant, not fancy (neither am I), and usually has friendly patrons. I loved my food here and really want to try all the dishes, so there ya go!

Really nice little sandwich shop—was directed here by a local. They don’t have a large menu but the food we had was delicious. Nicely crisp French fries and really good fry sauce. The hamburger was customizable and cooked well. The gyro had a little too much toppings to eat as a gyro and seemed more like a salad with a pita under it. It tasted good, but I couldn’t really eat it like a gyro. Might be a little more expensive for some people but a nice little mom-and-pop looking place.

Fist off thanks to Nick ,Nicole and Jeff i had the best time ever. The food was hot and delicious i loved every moment some of the best pastrami in St.louis. Stop by you wont be disappointed. Nick went above and beyond.1💯💯💯💯💯

Nomad was delicious. Crispy edges on the pastrami and the bread was light and fluffy. my sons enjoyed the fries and the FRY SAUCE make sure to get some to share. The beet salad was my favorite. Nice and tangy vinaigrette with fresh greens and cheese. We will be back.

Update 9/14/20. Went back this past weekend for a salad, it's that good. Here's the pic enjoy dining at nomad.
