Best dental office I've ever been to. Everyone was so nice and the hygienist was very gentle when she cleaned my teeth. There was no dental shaming like they do at some other offices. Such a great experience especially for someone with dental anxiety like me.

Dr. Bowers is a great dentist! He's very gentle, a good communicator and does a thorough exam. He only recommended work that needed to be done and explained thoroughly the reasons behind his recommendations.

The assistants were very nice and knowledgeable and Tracy, the hygienist did a thorough job cleaning my teeth without hurting me!

On top of that, the front office staff were friendly and helpful. It's a great team and I highly recommend them.

I am absolutely TERRIFYIED of pain, and the idea of going to a dentist was haunting. My tooth got so bad that I was willing to face it just to get it extracted. We called first thing in the morning and by the afternoon my tooth was GONE. Dr Bowers and his team were so professional. They made me feel at ease every step, didn't make me feel bad for crying, or for how bad I know my teeth had to be. They were friendly, and personable, and my husband and I will absolutely be coming back in the future!

Very friendly caring staff. Always take the time to see how you're doing. I started using them years ago and what was most important to me was that they would do their best to be gentle and understanding about my fear of the dentist. Originally, I was in need of extensive work to save the teeth I had left after years of neglect. The staff at every step took the time to explain and understand my concerns. They have made visiting the dentist much more relaxing. Currently I go there for cleanings and now my family uses them. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Kudos to the staff and thanks for helping me smile.

Great place! Friendly and professional staff. I've been going here over 30 years, when it was Banner Family Dental, and stayed when it became Safe Harbor. Dr. Bowers is great, and bonus: he's a beekeeper. There is a video set up in the waiting room, and he offers free samples of honey!🐝

Banner Family Dental makes me feel like family! I am relatively new to Banner Family Dental and I’m glad that they were recommended to me. The staff is personable, listening to all of my concerns and making sure all of my needs are met. I also feel that they do a great job educating me about my mouth and how best to care for it. They always provide great care with a gentle touch and they address all of my questions very professionally. I move frequently, but when I’m in town for a few weeks they can always fit me in, which I really appreciate! I highly recommend Banner Family Dental; I’ll sure be returning!

I have been going to Safe Harbor for years. When it was once Banner family. Everyone is knowledgeable. Such a clean place. I was terrified of going anywhere. But they all made sure I was safe. Had my first appt - I really liked my hygienist as well as my new dentist! Everyone was nice and made me feel comfortable. I chatted with them about doing Invisalign and they were able to get my scans done during my appt. Definitely recommend here!

I've been with Banner Family Dental for years now and always look forward to my visit with Peggy and Dr. Banner. Every checkup they ask me if anything is different, if I have any questions or concerns, and followup with anything from previous checkups. Even if it's something minor like I feel as though a tooth is moving, they take the time to check and exhaust any concerns I may have. Procedures are done quickly and thoroughly and I leave with my next appointment already scheduled and a new toothbrush! They know me personally as well and love catching up since the last time we've seen each other. Very family oriented and overall a wonderful and comfortable atmosphere.

Top 10- That you have the best dentist.
1- Listens Actively: Yes- Getting a new dentist can be somewhat challenging. I did not have any major issues but Dr. Banner was patient to listen to any concern I might have had.
2- Educates the Patient: Yes- Getting a crown is not the easiest thing however Banner and his staff made me feel at ease while explaining every detail to the tee.
3- Respects Patient Time: Yes- I work full time so finding the most appropriate time to schedule an appointment has never been a concern of mine with Dr. Banner and his team. I have had four dentist appointments including one for my son within the last 60 days and very satisfied with the appointment times.
4- Keeps a Clean Office: Yes- I recently took a vacation to South Africa, saved up for many years as a gift to myself once I retired from the military. Walking into Dr. Banners office reminds of my time at the Bush Camp. Love the cleanliness and theme. There is always water available!
5- Doesn't Up-Sell: Yes- During my initial visit I had a full exam which included tons of photos and x-rays. After all said and done I needed some work- it definitely was not an up-sell but rather an explanation on "How" they can help me in keeping my teeth in great condition.
6- Gets to Know You: Yes- During my initial visit I did not expect to be called back to a consultation office in which Dr. Banner himself sat down and asked me a few questions. This was not expected but very well received. It is nice to talk to a dentist before your in chair with your mouth wide open. Dr. Banner and his staff are very personable. Every time I walk in they say the greeting of the day followed by my name. Love it- makes me feel comfortable and at ease.
7- Wants a Long Term-Relationship: Yes- After leaving my appointment today I was asked to fill out a survey, while most of us simply don't have the time or we don't think it matters. They made it very clear that they would appreciate a response and that they read every single review. They care about the services/treatment provided and if they are doing a good job. This in my mind means they want to continue to have me as a patient.
8- Cares about Staff: Yes- I have never seen such a great group of folks working together to take care of patients. On my initial visit- I was waiting for my appointment when someone called and asked for another staff member, they were not available. So Dr. Banner (at the time I did not know it was him), said "I can take the call". This to me is awesome- this shows that the staff communicates and tries to help out when needed.
9- Follows-up: Yes- Not only do they follow up with letters but also makes sure that they explain if there are any problems "Please come back".
10- Values you as a Patient: Yes- Well understanding that Dr. Banner and his team have successfully accomplished 1-9 then I truly feel they are "Valuing me as a customer"
