Five Stuy Cafe

The place is spacious, plays great music (not too loudly), has great food options, and not a long wait time. Their customer service is great, and the bathroom is clean. What more can you ask for!

Lovely Cafe tucked away within Stuy Town not far from the fountain. They have a everything from wine to bakery items, all fresh and many wholesome options. Next time you taking a stroll in Stuyvesant Town make sure you stop in and sit amongst the trees and enjoy a good lunch.

A casual place offering homey food: typical brunch dishes, sandwiches, pastries, beer/wine, fruit smoothie, soft serves, and acai bowls. I've only tried pastries and soft serves which are delicious. The patio seating is cozy with nice view of Oval lawn of Stuytown. They deliver to Stuytown residence. Overall a nice spot to grab a quick bite or hang out.

An excellent cup of coffee and a delight to enjoy an air-conditioned cafe with the outside still being at 32C. Looking forward to trying frozen yogurt on my next visit!

This cafe is so cute !! They have scheduled bands to enjoy from time to time . Adding cozy atmosphere.
My favorite foodies here are muffins . So many varieties but ALL super good !!!
It’s fun to walk up to the cafe early in the morning w/ my Tennessee Blue dog , get my favorite muffin ( cranberry nut ) then leisurely walk on by

place to visit from breakfast delicious croissants, muffins, danish and Lunch sandwiches....to dinner ....incredible appetizers
...Brussels sprouts...cauliflower with dips
Tender delicious chicken ...salmon ...burgers.
Much much more. Fabulous desserts.
Sit outside...tables are socially distant and servers wear masks. The tables and chairs cleaned constantly. I felt very safe with Covid and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience

Very nice place. Very nice staff. Great pastries! I love the red velvet muffin, so delicious and the oatmeal cookies, yummy!
They are a little pricey but sooo worth it.
I go in practically every morning for either muffin or oatmeal cookies.

I live in Stuy Town so I was really excited when they renovated the cafe, but when it opened I was kind of bummed because it seemed pricey. Now that I've been a few times and tried several things on the menu, I have to say that it's not actually pricey, it's actually a pretty amazing deal based on the quality of the food.

I recently got home from a really long day of work and I was starving so I stopped by to pick up something for dinner. I got a half chicken breast and MY GOD, it was so delicious! It was moist and buttery and just made my whole night. I think I paid like $9 and it came with two sides which were also amazingly prepared and fresh. I really recommend to just give anything on the menu a try because it's good food. They know what they are doing. It is no longer the half-assed cafeteria it used to be before they renovated.

ALSO, please try their granola/yogurt combo. They make the granola in house and it's SO GOOD.

I get frozen yogurt for my kids there. I love it because it is self serving and good quality. I wish they had more flavors but my kids prefer the classics anyway , chocolate and vanilla.

It's a very nice Café with good coffee, nice personal, a good view on the fountain of the Stuy Town. A lot of space to sit outside, too. Further they offer a huge variety of delicious breakfast dishes (French toast, Avocado toast, Croissant with chocolate and Banana,...). Personally I made a very good experience when I was once in a rush in the morning before work and after saying this I got my coffee within two seconds. It’s delicious but their prices are not cheap. If you step out of stuytown you can get the same items much cheaper. They definitely hiked their prices because their rent is not cheap. My favorite is the arugula pizza. I stop by here for an espresso before the gym.

Lovely, lovely place right at the center of a slice of green in the big, big apple--in the fall, spring and summer there's an outdoor space where one can gather with others, or one's own self, and feel ensconced in some version of "nature." Perhaps there can be a capital "N" in the nature element when one allows oneself to smell the trees, feel the air, see the birds, squirrels (OK, yes, and the dogs) and just be. Oh yeah, and the coffee and treats are top notch!

Kind staff, clean, good coffee. Good place to work IF it’s not busy. 30min sit down maximum if it’s busy. NO WIFI, be sure to bring a hotspot if you’re tryna work

I visited while dine-in was closed due to the COVID19 pandemic. It looks like they are taking distancing and hygiene seriously (spaced markers, gloves, hand sanitizer, mask requirements, etc), which is very good. The drinks were good and the person helping me was polite and friendly.

A very nice and cozy place. Clean neighborly spot to grab a glass of wine, coffee or hot chocolate along with small dishes or pastry. There is sitting inside and outside.

The venue is nice. There is only one restroom and sometimes it takes time to use it.

Great place to grab a coffee and a quick snack or meal. Quality food and the menu offers a lot of options. The cafe itself is nice and offers outdoor seating.

Nice coffee shop with friendly staff . I like the almond latte . Not as full as some coffee shops in the neighborhood. If you are a mom and what to take the stroller with you is ok also . Free WiFi .
