Super 8 by Wyndham Union Gap Yakima Area

We've stayed here a couple of times over the years. Super friendly staff. Affordable rooms. The pool did not have heat this time. They said it was set to be repaired in a couple of weeks. We pick hotels based on their pool so we can swim. It was like a cold plunge. I was fine with it since I'm used to that, but the kids were FREEZING 🥶

Very good for my budget,I liked the bed and their linen,the bathroom is very clean too (for the room I was at).

Plenty of parking.

(I missed breakfast because I wasn't on time,they close at 9 am)

The staff was EXCEPTIONAL from front desk to housekeeping and I won't forget maintenance and the manger Mr.Ahmet. They ALL put care into their guests stay and they ALWAYS DO WITH SMILES! THANK YOU EVERYONE! BRAVO ZULU!

The front desk ladies are awesome. They go out of their way to help anyone. My wife and I have been here for a while due to working. Rooms are good, ac is good, and is a comfortable room. Many nice people but with that also comes with people who are not so nice. THE POOL IS COLD AND HAS BEEN COLD FOR A LONG TIME. Says an indoor heated pool online, but it's not. I did have to wait for a while for my room to be cleaned but that's ok.

The receptionist that helped me 3/10/24 at 4pm…A+ quality. So happy with my service. Wish more people were like her.

Been staying here for years, love their bfast it's so many varieties of food and it's yummy, the motel is getting old and dirty tho.. still love it tho

First thing….I am sorry about my prior review. I am completing this review under my husbands name because I cannot erase what I reviewed prior, and I am truly sorry about that. There was a miscommunication between my husband and I, when the wrong words where said. I had indicated a negative review because unfortunately I was under the impression that this hotel put my husbands belongings out in the hallway after reserving his room to someone else. This was incorrect. my husband ment to say lobby, where they nicely held his items behind the office counter in the lobby, because they were not sure if he was staying or not, and he was unavailable for contact. i have tried everything to remove that review, but unfortunately the damage was already done. I sincerely want to apologize to the Super 8 Union Gap/Yakima manager, as well as the staff. I am also going to that hotel to apologize in person!

So far so good here! Clean decent rooms and free wifi and breakfast , what can you say? It’s a super 8 , not the finest but definitely Not the worst by any means. If anything this is one of the nicer super 8s that I’ve stayed at in my years of traveling. Good location with lots nearby including shopping in case you forgot your suitcase (like me!)

Staff was friendly and room was super clean. Huge tv, plus microwave and fridge. It was 20 degrees outside but the heater kept the room warm. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept on at a hotel! Seriously got such good sleep. Good value for the money, would definitely stay again.

I mean it's a Super8. If you want Hilton standards.. go there and pay that. During our stay I witnessed the staff going above and beyond to help the customers. Some staff sucks and that is a shame. But as I was told when I was younger, gotta have the good with the bad. No bed bugs, no nothing.

The location was great, the price was right and the room had all the advertised amenities. Access to the hotel is a little awkward due to street design but that is absolutely not the hotel's fault. Once on the lot parking seems to be easy and ample. Our check-in went smoothly and efficiently and the desk clerk was brisk and professional. Our room was as described, small but clean and tidy. We had a king sized bed in our room and it was comfy with enough pillows so I didn't have to ask for extra. It was quiet at night and we both slept well. We will definitely stay here again.

Matt was very friendly and kind. Clean rooms. Fresh food for breakfast. Fresh coffee. All and all a good stay. Thank you. Will continue to stay here.

I stayed at the Super 8 in Union Gap during the first week of February. The staff was super helpful especially with my kids. Tiffany kept us aware of when breakfast was served and provided plenty of towels for us.

Amit with management was able to fix the card issue I had quickly. Great guy to talk to. Definitely go see them.

Nice place, friendly staff. Getting into the parking area is kinda tough because you have to pass by the motel, go through two round-a-bouts and then come back the way you came from to make a right, just before the motel. Once I got there, I slept well and had an enjoyable stay. Getting onto the freeway after my stay was a piece of cake.

We really liked it. Very friendly staff,quiet,and very clean, comfortable room. Also there reserved parking for our veterans. It helped alot to be allot closer to our room. And pet friendly. Only cons well not really cons I'm just picky is no actual breakfast aside from cold ceral,and a waffle maker and heated pool was actually quite cold. All in all we really liked our 3 nights there last weekend.

Clean, somewhat updated room with everything in good condition. Courteous staff. Mattresses were firm enough. Didn't try the pool or complimentary breakfast. Seems like a really good value for the money. Only issue was the constantly fluctuating shower temperature. I'd definitely stay there again.

I had a very good experience with the hotel and staff. I didn't find out until my last day that there was an ice machine locate at my end of the hotel. Unfortunately it was not working.

Yakima is a rapidly growing City that has its up and downs, however this hotel is located right off the interstate at the union Gap exit directly across from the mall and good restaurants all in walking distance at Denny's is less than 500 ft away. They have an indoor pool that is sure to keep the kids busy as you rest and relax in a very cozy and comfortable room. The internet it's very good good connection speed for downloads of movies we're streaming music.
