A couple of years back I fell back in love with the hobby of collecting and reading comics. Codex has gone above and beyond in countless ways to help keep the joy alive that the hobby has brought to me. Then as a child and even now as a grown adult. I am now able to share that exact same joy with a child of my own. I have gained a lot of genuine appreciation for Codex and the Codex family throughout the years and I hope to always have the privilege of being a part of the Codex community. This store may be far from where I live but the owner and atmosphere is great here I would definitely recommend seeing the great stuff they have!

Small, family-owned, and well-rounded for all your nerdy needs, Codex Comics is a small shop on West High Street that you'd almost miss if it weren't for the cardboard cutouts in the window. Inside has all sorts of goodies for the typical nerd, ranging from Funko Pop collectibles to full-issue comic books, as well as supplies for Heroclix, D&D, Magic: The Gathering, and Yu-Gi-Oh! players all the same. The space accommodates events up to 20 people, and there are a variety of events every month that needs of all kinds can gather with friends and strangers alike to have a good time. If they don't have it, ask any of the three family managers and they'll see if they can get it for you. Definitely worth the time to visit for anything and everything.

We were here on free comic day. They were very friendly and trying very hard. My kids got pictures with the characters in front of the store, I bought some art from an artist that was there, and bought a couple graphic novels.. shop locally and support this store.

I live in Hollidaysburg and I never was able to find a comic store that I liked. Then I visited this gem. Codex Comics & Collectibles is exactly what I pictured when I thought of a comic store. Highly recommend visiting if you're a comic fan and even if you're not. Will definitely go back when I get the chance. Fantastic store!

When I first visited I was not expecting much since the store is so small, but I have now been back several times and I have a good experience every time. For how small the store area is they have an amazing selection and I can always find something I like. The prices are also fantastic, which I really value. In additon to these great aspects, they also have some of the friendliest staff I have every met. This is genuinely one of the best comic shops from here to Altoona.

A great comic and gaming store. Both of the owners are a husband and wife team who run it daily and are very nice which makes this my favorite store in Ebensburg to visit! This is a stop you must make just to browse if you have never been here before.

It's a nice store. They had a few back issues & current goodness that I needed. Everything is neat & orderly. Prices are reasonable. I found this lcs interesting & do recommend.

Great shop! Very nice owners. Clean environment. Tons of comics and collectibles. D&D Wednesdays. I go there for MTG tournaments and have a great time! Discounts offered to regulars.

They had a great selection of comics. Some were missing though because they had an unbelievable 50% off sale. Otherwise the staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it!

great shop for comics and gaming. price are nice and afforedable. the owners are some of the nicest people I've ever ment. I've become a regular there and feel so welcomed whenever I stop in. everytime I leave I cant wait to go back again.

They have everything and if not they might be able to find it.
They have gaming events for most of the days of the week. So if your interested in a new hobby stop by.

Easily the best comic shop experience I've ever had. I know longer live in the Central PA area, but the owners still keep in touch and help me stay up to date with comic info and with my collection.

Great store. They have a nice selection and they are very good with keeping a pull list of comics for you. Good place to talk current comics or movies. The owner and workers are great!
