Such a fun trail for the entire family! My kiddos are motivated to keep hiking looking at all the painted rocks. We love to bring painted rocks and add them to the trail. We do it every time we come to St. George!

A wonderfull place for children & adults. Bring a painted rock to add to the trail. Thousands of rocks painted with outdoor scenes, names of family, friends and people and pets that have passed on. Good sayings, artwork and memories are shared on the rocks.

A great place to go for a hike! You can hike with people of all ages. It’s a little bit uphill climb but you can go at your own pace and it’s not that far. Make sure to paint a rock of your own before going up there, so you can place it along the path. At the top there’s a nice view as well. Please keep it clean and manicured for all to enjoy.

Fun, family-friendly hike which takes you along a mostly smooth trail up to a flag pole. The path is lined with pretty hand-painted colored rocks along the way, with pictures and inspirational quotes. Paint a rock at home before you come and bring it with you. So fun for kids. Some of the artwork on the rocks is amazing! Remember to leave the rocks in place for others to enjoy.

While fairly flat, there are some man-made steps up/down along the path. No shade. Advise sun-protective clothing, hat, and water. We did the hike in the evening to avoid the midday heat. I also hiked carrying my baby in a front-carrier and it would be hike-able for children.

We parked and started part-way up (see my Strava map), so our hike was 1.5 miles, but from the bottom, I imagine it is a around 2 or so miles. About 377 feet of elevation for the part we hiked. 45 min moving time.

This was such a fun trail to walk. I took my students from Avanti Beauty Academy as an advancement ceremony since we have kindness in our motto, I knew we would find rocks with similar themes. We painted and added out rocks to the collection. I believe we are going to do this with every graduating class because it was so much fun. Than for who ever made this a reality, it's truly soulful.

Amazing trail! Here are some directions to help you find it:
Park across from the church and the trail starts on the paved path in front of Monster Storage. When you get to the end take a right and walk along the brick wall, go through the tunnel beneath the highway and follow the rocks!
Attached are some photos of where to go and a few of the fun rocks you’ll find along the way.
Next time you have family night or something you should paint some rocks and then leave them here! 🥳

This is a perfect trail for the family. Be sure to paint that you can leave along the way for others to enjoy. Park at the bottom and hike your way 1 mile to the top where you’ll find a sign and several other rocks left by other travelers. The 1 mile downward trek back to the parking lot is an easy trail that can be done by young children. You’ll also enjoy some scenic views along the way. Driving directions: Just off exit 2 on I 15. You will be on the east side of I 15. When the asphalt ends by a kenworth trucking building, turn right onto a dirt road. Follow the road to a form. Take a left and followed the more established road. The parking lot is rather small, but it will be hard to miss on the left as you climb the dirt road. Look for all the colorful and painted rocks. Maybe .5 - .8 miles from the assault.

Easy walk, hardly a hike. Beautiful energy and wonderful messages of all sorts. Highly recommended. We’ll be coming back. Little tip, hold your rock for a later part in the trail.

A great little hike a few miles south of St George. Fun to walk and read the rocks. You can paint one yourself and bring it up to inspire others.

Was there with riverside elementary 5th grade of 2021. They added a pretty big section to the trail. The rock stack just after the top of trail flag is the beginning of what they did.

It seems like there are several branches and or loops to this trail, but we had fun exploring them! We took a dirt road up a quarter mile when the road ended and started there. There wasn't really a parking lot but there is a big circle with tons of decorated rocks. It's all very cool.

We painted rocks ahead of time. It was fun to see all the different rocks along the way. Fun trail.

Be careful not to get lost coming back down! Several of the trails lead away from the main one back to parking! This hike is short, a little steep, and well worth it for the views. All of the inspirational painted rocks are fun.

The trail starts at monster storage and goes under the freeway to get onto the path. One listed currently online of the “start of the trail” is now closed due to the city that bought out the land and had to re construct the trail to still keep it alive and going. So now the trail goes north east instead is south east.

It was a wonderful experience and can be a short or long hike if you choose. Once you go under the overpass and keep walking until you see the break between large rocks, take a left instead of right! The left side is shorter and takes you to an American flag at the top with beautiful views and so many inspirational quotes on the rocks leading up! Totally recommend!!! ( Either early in the morning or later in the day because it's just so hot!)
