Dr. DiMatteo listens carefully, shows concern for my welfare, and has a very pleasant manner.

I didn't get to meet Dr. Dimatteo, and the front desk was pleasant, however, I waited over an hour, watching pt by pt being called, to not only then see the employees starting to leave. I then ask the front desk, is she running late? Is this normal? I've been here over an hour and I can't wait any longer. She looks me up at the computer, goes to the back, returns, apologizes, and said she will be right with you, it's for a flu shot right ? I say, no, a new pt, I've never seen her before. She looks again, apologizes, says I was marked a no show. I clearly was not. I signed in at 3p for a 3:20p appt, and approached the desk at 4:20p. She attempts to reschedule me, but I can't miss work again, the Dr can't see me now, and that's the best they can do for appts. So, I leave to figure something out. I turn around to see what the latest appt is and she's gone from the front. I work in a medical office as well, if there's a "no show" we call them. No call. If I saw the same pt, waiting there after I pulled back pt after pt, I would question it. I know things can happen, but this is unacceptable. I should have said something at the 30 min mark but I know sometimes drs run late and was giving the benefit of the doubt. I waited for months for this appt to have this happen. Then I hear a snyde remark from one of the assistants, but I dont know if it was towards me or the screw up. Bc clearly, I did my part right, and was polite throughout.
