I have had a nearly impossible finding a good match for me therapist in Olympia, had heard not great things about Seamar so it was my last resort, and her I have found the best therapist! I highly recommend him and Seamar. My psychiatrist there is also wonderful.

If you need help and are ready to get help this is a good place to come. The therapist here are the best that I have seen they make you fill safe so it makes it easy for you to really open up and work out your problems so call and see when you can get retested it will make a difference.

I see Francesca as my councilor, i love her the positive vibes of her room, coping suggestions and techniques are amazing. I also get my medication help through sea-mar and had a pleasant experience.
However it is almost impossible to ever get ahold of the front desk. I am unsure how many calls they get but I feel trying ever 5 min for an hr should have gotten me through.

Terrible! These people started treating my middleschooler without my consent. Got them signed up for medicaid which triggered childsupport...from her parent that live together with them and other parent(everyone in one home)TO other parent in same home. My daughter went in a tomboy angry about her brother being put in coma and left with a third set of pronouns and with cutting triggers!

If I could give this place no stars I would. I lost my belief in the entire profession. I researched the history of the mental health professionals and now I am a misanthrope. I am a monster and hate everyone and everything. If you want help I would suggest you not look to behavioral health to improve your state of mind. Damage is all they have to give you.

1) All of a sudden on my appointment on Nov/29/2022, my counselor (whom I've been seeing for 3+ years at that point) told me: "We cannot see you after your appointment on Jan/4/2023 due to our policy ... We provide a "temporary treatment" (usually treating patients for 1 year).  You need to find a new medication management provider and a counselor who provide "long-term treatment."  Yes, I was given a 30-day notice!!!  No one, during the past 3+ years, informed me of that policy.  Immediately after I heard this ultimatum, I got a major panic attack, and so I ended the meeting.  My PCP got angry and said, "They should not be doing that!  They need to keep you as a patient until you secure your new provider!"
2) My first counselor fell asleep while I was sharing very personal and sensitive stories and events. He never reviewed my file on pc and prepared for my appointment.  After several appointments with him, I filed a complaint with the clinical supervisor and the manager, who let him "retire," instead of "firing him," so they stated in their letter to me.
3) My friend had to change counselors three times due to their lack of knowledge and competency ("They were all nice people though," so said my friend.).

I am very upset by my desion to go to Sea-mar. I feel my intake and 1 and 1/2 or less appointment was a complete waste of time. I did not find Tim threatening at all. I usually would not miss it when anyone is a danger to me. I feel he is good at taking and he is the 1of 2 terrible therapist in 35 years. I already had very little faith left in the metal health system. I now have 0. I will never go to any mental health treatment again. I have had some measure of faith in it.or wanted to. It is comepletely gone now. I have no we will to live and will have a warrent for my arrest as treatment was required. I I had for 35 years voluntary sked for and went to treatment. Tim is a monster and fake and it only will I never speak to another mental health professional of any kind I will discourage anyone to ry therapy. It is all BS and a comeplete waste if time. I have no respect for Tim Barret or Sea- Mar. Stay away from this facility.

Absolutely ridiculous, I'm sitting here and it's 55 minutes after my appointment and they can't tell me how much longer!! Ridiculous!!
