But this was an extra cool treat from this OG DQ, operating as a drive up ice cream stand in this location since 1954!

Next to the stand, they also have a Cornhole game setup, plus a tetherball game. Lots of fun!!

Love the retro feel of this Dairy Queen! Even though this is still the chain ice cream shop, it feels local and special to the area. Keep in mind you are close to the road with a speed limit at 50mph. Trucks come barreling through loudly and of course, some people are never content unless they drive 10 over the speed limit! All in all, give this place a shot!

Love the ice cream the staff is consistent on how they make everything each visit. I love the chairs in the back! Keeps old school charm and comfortable to sit and enjoy a treat.

I was driving home from a friends house in Butler. It was about 9:30 PM and on my way home I was in the mood for ice cream. I couldn’t find anywhere that was open later. I stopped at that Dairy Queen and they told me they just drained their machines but offered me an ice cream sandwich. They gave me it for free! I wanted to say thank you even for helping me last night! As a last minute customer they are awesome, especially for serving me so late!

Whenever we are in the neighborhood and this one is opened we stop here the ice cream is fresh and the service is great along with the very real sizes of portions given. Keep up the great work.

It's a nice and easy stop if you're in the mood for some ice cream. It's a bit old fashioned, it's just walk up to the window and place an order. Seats are available around the outside of the building in the forms of picnic tables and benches. No interior seating, so if it's raining..... You may get wet scrambling around with cones and precipitation.

The BEST ICE CREAM in the WORLD! The staff working there ALWAYS have a BIG SMILE for ALL of their CUSTOMERS! Their SUNDAES are ALWAYS the TASTIEST of them all! My Wife LOVES their HAND DIPPED cones! She also gets the HUNGER BUG for their DELICIOUS STRAWBERRY SUNDAES! We took our 2 Grandkids there after Family Functions in BUTLER for some TASTY TREATS, & THEY BOTH loved the ice cream cone & sandwich! For MANY YEARS, My Wife & i used to take my Mother-In-Law to this Dairy Queen Location after going to the Same Family Function! This Dairy Queen Store has ALWAYS BEEN OUR FAVORITE STOP! I Personally LOVE the HOT FUDGE SUNDAE! This is a GREAT Dairy Queen & WILL ALWAYS be a FAVORITE STOP of ours UNTIL we can't drive anymore, OR MAYBE LONGER!! 🍧 🍦 🍚

I've been going there for over 50 years. They've always been the nicest people and give great service quickly. Don't forget to stop by when you're driving along RT 8.

An old style Dairy Queen! I haven't seen this style since my childhood. Older couple running the show. Faster and more accurate than any teenagers working summer jobs.

I was hungry for a treatzza pizza, called and they were out. Sue made me a pizza in 45mins. It was the best ever! It was soft but the best ever! She made my day! Thank you Sue!
