Senape's Bakery

I love the bakery pizza here and the pizza shells, and the cheese buns. I stop by here as often as feasible no matter where I have lived. Employees are awesome as well.

I was in Hazleton and decided to try their cold bakery pizza. I stopped at Senape's to see what they had to offer. I love local bakeries. The taste was very different than sanitary Bakery. The sauce is packed with noticable flavors that hit you once you take a bite (in a good way). I took pictures of some of the interesting items that I've never seen before. I'm excited to try the pineapple coconut buns when I get back. They also had a cold french bread style pizza that I didn't try. The people working were extremely nice. I said it was my first time and they let me try a piece of the cold pizza before buying it. I definitely recommend stopping by this place.

Whenever you are near 80/81 interection...stop in downtown Hazleton for there fresh apple cinnamon walnut breads and cinnamon rolls.

Everyone in town comes here...nothing better to get a bread out of the oven and freshly iced in front of you.

Oddly enough...bakeries sell pizza. Served room temperature but not bad.

Nothing beats Senape's Pitza. Worth the drive, missed out on their tea biscuts. Next time and there definitely will be a next time.

This place is great! Heard about this "cold pizza" from a friend who said I had to stop and get some. They weren't wrong. The pitza is really good full of flavor and moist. I also picked up a package of sweet rolls which were equally as good. Everything is fairly priced, but they only accept cash. It's definitely worth the stop.

Love the breads, pastries, and pie shells, etc. Well worth going out of your way for and always take items for family and friends. This is a local legend, past, present, and hopefully well into the future.

Use to live in Drums PA, I'm back in CT and think about this pitza every week I miss it so much! Need to get sum shipped over cause it's the best!

You will never get pitza anywhere else. This is the only place to get it. Everything is made right there at the bakery. The bakery also has really good dessert breads. If you're in the area, definitely go there.

Just found Senape's, stopped on way back to H'burg. Nice round top crispy crust bread, cherry danish and a cple pcs of pizza ... great! Best bread I've had in long time. Pizza is the grab n go, in ur lunch type. Danish looks great, tomorrow w coffee.

Best pitza in hazleton. Perfect ratio of Romano cheese sweet sauce and dough.

I don't think I can say anything bad about Senapes. Maybe that I wish they'd take credit cards, but that's about it.

Visiting extended family always meant a box(or 2) of Senapes but now I just make the hour drive every couple months to get 2 boxes to bring back.

I've been eating Senape's Bar Pitz my entire Blessed Life. We used to get "bootleg" late nights and eat the whole box by the time we got home. Their product is world-class at a down-home price.

Only my second time there. Their breads and rolls are amazing. I bought bread a crumb cake ,tea biscuits . All were very fresh and really good.Will definitely be back to try more things.

Our 1st visit. Stopped here on our way home from the Poconos after seeing the reviews, so glad we did. The pizza is ate at room temperature by the locals, we offered a slice to try, and it was excellent!! We will try the Itian round bread when we get home tonight. We got some sweets to try!! They look yummy also!! We will be sharing with friends and returning!!

Great bakery. Smells good when you walk in and they’ve got big baguettes!

Love love LOVE Senape's Bakery! The fresh breads, and those danishes...don't get me started. Did I mention I love them? Stopping here is an absolute must if you're in Hazleton.

I'm not sure when some of these reviewers grew up to say that the pitza used to be better "back in the day", or maybe the consistency isn't what it used to be and I went on a good day, but I picked up a few this week and they were outstanding.

Good

Pitza is a classic, cant go wrong with that. The coconut pineapple buns were amazing, like dinner roll, meets croissant, meets pastry. Well worth the effort to get here if you find yourself anywhere close.
