Was never really too fond of going there. I only ever stop There if I really need to and what ever I need can't really wait. The building could use a re model. It's been the same as long as I could remember. And don't for get to lock your car when you go in. Haha

I am new to the area and discovered this Convenient Food Mart in Hazleton, PA on August 30, 2022. The store didn’t look the cleanest and the owner was a little odd, he stared but couldn’t respond to my hello and head nod. I went to purchase a can of Starbucks coffee from the refrigerator only to discover a few of them expired almost 3 months ago - June 13, 2022. Upon further inspection, an entire row of about 12 cans were covered in dangerous black and green mold on the sides and the top of the cans where your mouth goes!!! I brought two cans over to the owner, an older Indian man, who rudely snatched them out of my hand. I went back to the refrigerator to see if there were any good cans, but I was so disgusted I couldn’t purchase from here. The owner came over and told me to close it so it stays cold! I asked him what he’s doing with all of these expired moldy products and he told me it’s his business and “I can run my store how I want to run it, I’ve had it for fifteen years!”

This was absolutely the most disgusting business I’ve ever entered. So much for being a food mart. Safety first, there are quite a few other stores in walking distance from this one almost identical in look with the same products, but with much more professional and nicer owners, and would be able to pass a health inspection tomorrow. I wouldn’t even support this place by filling up a tank of gas.

Please do yourself a favor and AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

I am a traveling salesperson and truly appreciated the loveliness of the great state of Pennsylvania until I pulled over to this Convenient Mart in Hazleton, PA. Outward appearances aren’t everything, so I swam through the trash all over the entrance of the store. What I then see is the Indian woman who I assume to be the owner, on her cell phone, speaking very loudly and blatantly rolling her eyes, ignoring her two customers asking her questions (would she train and accept her staff doing this at the register?). I was completely shaken by all of the EXPIRED FOOD ITEMS ALL OVER THE STORE! She blamed “all of the vendors” and that she’s “not allowed to touch it.” But you are allowed to SELL these expired items to make profit and harm your customers? The things we can see from pulling over to a local small business for a simple cup of Jo.

FACEBOOK, X, Twitter, YELP - please go see this store for yourself and leave them a truthful review!
