Macaluso's

My friends and I came here for dinner, and we had a lovely experience. The salad and bread were a delicious start to our meal. I had the eggplant tower which was phenomenal. My friends had the chicken parm, ahi tuna, and mushroom ravioli, which they all enjoyed. Our drinks were very good. The service was very attentive and professional. I highly recommend this dining establishment for an elegant evening.

My husband and I went to Macaluso's for dinner on an anniversary trip, and from the atmosphere, friendly and attentive service, and unbelievably good food, we could not have been more delighted. Each course was better than the last, with homemade soups, perfectly grilled long hots with imported sharp provolone and olive oil, pan seared sea scallops with sage butter, eggplant parm, and Italian "love cake" for dessert. Thank you, Macaluso's, for an unforgettable dining experience served up with heart. We loved it, and will definitely be back!

Absolute best dining in the area! Very classy feel to the entire experience. Kid friendly with next level service. Looking forward to visiting in the warmer months to take advantage of
the new outdoor bar/patio.

We had the calamari and the cream of portobello soup as appetizers, the chicken Saltimbocca and pappardelle pasta with shrimp in Cajun cream for dinner and creme Brulee with coffee for dessert.
Excellent quality, well prepared, friendly service, recommended.

We arrived without an invitation but were seated promptly. The staff were very polite & prompt in their service. The portobello mushroom soup was so rich & delicious that I ordered one to go. The scallops were a hit! One order was devoured then another was ordered & even a third order for the road. The coconut crème pie was decadent & enough to share. This was a memorable dinner. I’d definitely love to visit again.

Was just here this past weekend with a party of 14 for our annual valentines day couples dinner that we do every year. First time and definitely will not be the last. Food was amazing, pineapple martinis were delicious and the service was great. Our two servers were right on top of everything, we never had to wait for another round of drinks or look around for someone when we needed something. they were attentive and very kind to our loud bunch lol

The food was delicious! The waitress we had was phenomenal. I will definitely be coming back next time I visit Jim Thorpe.

Great atmosphere and the food is delicious! The Chicken Milano is my favorite entree. The Italian Chocolate Love cake is a great way to end a meal here! Highly Recommend!

Excellent place to eat. Five stars plus. Looking forward to returning to this place on our next trip to Jim Thorpe. Portobello mushroom soup is the best I have ever tasted. I would have liked yo buy a gallon and taken it home with us. See you soon!

My wife and I reserved a room and dinner reservation here for our anniversary. First the restaurant: The ambience is elegant but relaxed and cozy. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. The food was spectacular! Started with a blue cheese salad, which was intense with blue cheese but soo good! My entree was the lamb rack special. Herb roasted rare lamb served in its own au jus, succulent deliciousness 😋 the crusty bread dipped in the juice was to die for😋 side of ratatouille was a perfect accompaniment. My wife had the filet mignon, best she ever had! The room was cozy and clean, nothing fancy but for the price we were more than satisfied. Would definitely stay here again and definitely coming back to the restaurant.

The food was delicious! Cream of portobello mushroom soup, angel hair pasta with artichoke and sundried tomatoes in a lemon basil cream sauce all amazing...and the bread...I could have eaten a loaf myself. Our waitress was attentive and our table was ready right at our reservation time. We could not have asked for a better experience!

I have been to this restaurant numerous times and have never been disappointed! The food is always amazing, the staff is so friendly and professional, and the atmosphere is high class! It's not cheap, but if you want great food and great service, it'd be hard to beat Macaluso's! Great place to also rent for functions as well!

We can't figure out why no one in Jim Thorpe has recommended Macaluso's since we've been vacationing there for the past 5 years. This restaurant was the highlight of our trip. Fancy dining experience with low prices. The staff was absolutely amazing, from start to finish. We've never been treated so nicely at a restaurant, and they even talked to my teenager, who normally gets ignored when we go out. Everyone made us feel like family, and oh yeah, the food was pretty amazing. Get the mushroom soup! I go to the annual Mushroom Festival and have never had a better bowl than Macaluso's. Get the salad with their house-made dressing, my teen ate 2 bowls, and she has never eaten an entire salad in her life. Their steak cut like butter, the asparagus was good, the sweetest corn on the cob, and my chicken was cooked to perfection. We can't wait to go back to the best restaurant in the Jim Thorpe area, Macaluso's. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Tonight our server was Jenn, and she was as absolutely fabulous. Perfectly on point with our drink orders, and suggestions from this evening’s specials. Our appetizer was Ahi Tuna, with Ginger, Wasabi, and a Cajun Butter. Preparation and presentation were on the mark!! Entrees were delicious and served in a timely fashion. We dined in the outdoor area, which was perfectly heated, with some nice tunes, making the atmosphere very relaxing. We highly recommend this establishment, and can assure you won’t be disappointed!!

Great food! And friendly staff! We went on a Tuesday night for our anniversary. The waitress asked if we were there for a special occasion, and offered a piece of complimentary love cake for dessert. She even went above and beyond, when she didn't see me waiting at the table for my boyfriend to come back from the bathroom, and was going to run our leftovers out to the car. Also took a beautiful picture for us when I asked. Couldn't have been more pleased with the night!

My husband and I went to Macaluso's for dinner last night and had the best food! Everything was prepared perfectly and melted in our mouths. I had the veal Bolognese and he had the filet mignon. Money well spent. The staff was also very warm and friendly. I also appreciate how our server welcomed my questions about the dishes. Even the salad dressings were homemade and perfect. We will definitely be back!

We were accommodated on a busy Saturday night without reservations so I appreciated that to start. Then our courses were perfectly timed. The dishes were complex and well balanced. The selection was extensive. The service was excellent. Great atmosphere everyone was very friendly. I will be returning and this is a new number one choice.

Food was fabulous, service was out of this world, and a great atmosphere! What more could you ask for? Highly recommend.

Food was delicious! I have a food allergy and the service staff was very concerned that they helped me choose the right appetizer and entree so I would stay healthy. Excellent! We will be back. Atmosphere was pleasant and inviting! Great job to the new owners and their excellent staff. Thank you!
