Such a great moment! Amazing service, friendly people, great value for the price! Extremely well organized and the entertainment on weekend is quite outstanding. Loved the pool and the cabin all over the site and enjoy the daily communication push from their app everyday! It’s a well “oiled machine”! The best public bathroom/shower I have seen in any camping I went. Will definitely go back!
The only “downsides” is that I find the look of some sites and the entrance “overflow” a bit sketchy. But I guess the management is encouraging the sense of community over the overall look which make me appreciate the place even more! Bravo again and thank you for being so welcoming with French Canadian tourists!

5 Stars Because 6 is not a choice. The staff are all attentive to your needs and go above and beyond to make your stay wonderful! Service is superior to any five star resorts.
Many campgrounds I have gone to are not as well kept or have the most polished accommodations for Cabin renters, Tenters and Trailers alike. They also have awesome entertainment! Always a BLAST! I recommend checking it out for yourself, join the party! LGBTQ+++

Title: A Welcoming Haven for All at The Woods Campground

Review:

Wish there was a 20 star option… 5 isn’t nearly enough. As the organizer of TickleCon, I had the pleasure of hosting our event at The Woods Campground, and I cannot express enough how amazing our experience was. The Woods, with its beautiful surroundings and exceptional staff, provided the perfect atmosphere for our gathering.

First and foremost, the natural beauty of The Woods is simply breathtaking. The serene woods, picturesque trails, and tranquil lake create a peaceful and rejuvenating environment. It's a place where you can truly connect with nature and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

What truly sets The Woods apart is its commitment to inclusivity and acceptance. The staff at The Woods, from the moment we arrived, made it abundantly clear that everyone is welcome and respected. The GLBTQIA community and allies alike are embraced with open arms. It's a safe haven where diversity is celebrated, and individuality is cherished.

The staff at The Woods went above and beyond to ensure our event was a success. Their warm and friendly demeanor made us feel like part of their extended family. They were always available to assist us with any needs or questions we had, and their professionalism and dedication were truly commendable.

No matter your likes or dislikes, The Woods appreciates and respects you. It's a place where you can be yourself without judgment or prejudice. The inclusive atmosphere created by The Woods and its staff is truly remarkable and sets a shining example for other establishments.

I highly recommend The Woods Campground to anyone seeking a welcoming and beautiful retreat. Whether you're looking for a peaceful getaway or a vibrant social experience, The Woods has something for everyone. The combination of stunning natural surroundings, a warm and accepting atmosphere, and an exceptional staff make it a truly special place.

Thank you, The Woods Campground, for providing such an incredible experience for TickleCon. Your commitment to inclusivity and acceptance is truly inspiring. We look forward to returning to The Woods and creating more cherished memories in the future!

Very special thanks to Dan and Pat for taking on our group at the last minute when we needed to change venues. What a Blessing. We couldn’t have made the magic we did anywhere else.

See you all again soon!

Wow 1st time here and it exceeded expectations i didnt even know i had! Everyone was soo nice and loving and... giving 😛 very awesome place. The shows were fun and hilarious. The slideshow where it goes between the beforw and after of the camp is insane the changes are just unbelievable. The guys in charge of this know what they are doing and made this a fun place for everybody. The pool and the dancing were my favorite part. It was cleaner here then in my own home thats how well taken care of this resort is! The imminenties are insane. I suggest going and getting tested and get your prep and be responsible before having the most FUN you will ever have 😉

For me The Woods is liberating. No shame about your body type, your age, the size of your manhood and so on.
You can be yourself and have a great time. Meet new people, connect, have fun...
Life is too short, we need more places like that

This place is always such a great time. I try to get there as many weekends as I can through the season. They have an awesome pool, there's great trails to hike, and there's even some organized events that occur throughout the weekend. If you love playing volleyball they have for advanced players I time frame and then a separate time for recreational players. There's even a restaurant for breakfast, lunch, dinner throughout the weekends. And if you're looking for snacks, gladys's Cafe is awesome for burgers, chicken strips, etc. If you come here and don't have a good time, it's your own fault!

This was the first visit to The Woods by my buddy and me, and quite honestly we didn't know WHAT to expect. After GPS misdirection, we drove up to The Woods office. Attractive and beautifully landscaped, VERY helpful and welcoming staff members, nicely stocked gift/convenience shop. As we drove to the campsite, we commented on how well maintained and landscaped the grounds were. The campsite was spacious as well as convenient, bathroom and trash bins nearby. I must especially comment on the bathrooms--absolutely IMMACULATE! I noticed the bathrooms and trash receptacles were cleaned several times a day, so clearly the owners and staff take pride in the facility. The hot tub is great, the pool area is very well maintained, the dining area was nice. Other guests were friendly and laid back, very relaxed atmosphere. We also got the chance to visit nearby attractions in the Poconos--The World's Largest General Store (really great place to shop and to find unusual items) and Jim Thorpe (shops and eateries in beautifully restored vintage buildings AND a steam railroad). The downside to our vacay was the weather--high heat, horrible humidity, heavy rainstorms, so we really didn't get to explore the Poconos as much as we would have liked. BUT when we go back to The Woods next year... and we definitely will!

The Woods also has many onsite activities offered so you will definitely NOT be bored.

The ONLY negative at The Woods is horrible to nonexistent cell service. Couple times my buddy and i tried to call or text each other at the campgrounds and calls wouldn't go through or text would arrive like 10 minutes later. i get it's an isolated location but what with everyone constantly online there should be a way to improve service.

The Woods is our happy place. We stay in the Grove and it's always so peaceful. We came here for the first time last June and booked a return visit for August before we even left the campground. We made so many friends last year and we met up with some of them this past weekend for July 4th. What else? The pool is a blast. The showers and bathroom facilities are nicer than you'd expect from a campground. They know their market. The events are plentiful. The bonfires are impressive. The vibes from other campers are friendly and inclusive. The staff is very friendly and works hard to keep the place clean and in great shape. We also really appreciate that management is continuously improving facilities every year. New picnic pavilion and outdoor gym this year for example. We'll be coming back for years and years.

My only critical feedback would be on the music selections during the evening parties at the nightclub. It's always a bit too Pop/generic pop remix all night long and can get borderline cheesy. They should try to layer in some less standard stuff that's more in tune with musical tastes in 2023. Play some House throughout the evening for example. These can be selections that many will already know and those who don't will still enjoy (e.g. Purple Disco Machine).

First time was opening weekend 2020. One of the best weekends ever!! Very welcoming community feel everywhere. Couldn’t wait to get back. And we did a few more times in 2020.

It’s a beautiful place!! Then 2021. With COVID mostly gone by the vaccine and things opening up, the camp schedule filled like lightning flashing. A day visit this year on the first, and only trip, was a little disappointing. Not as welcoming this time; the social cliques seemed to dominate the pool area. Ahhh. Youth. Everything and everywhere else was just as wonderful as I remembered.

Understand that the social cliques are what they are, and no one can change it. There’s lots of people who will welcome you hand over foot. 😋

This place is always fun! I’ve been going here for a few years now and people are always friendly and fun. The facilities need improvement, the cabins are quite basic but the pool and overall experience is totally worth it!

I want to start this off by saying i NEVER write reviews, but everybody needs to know about this place. I was offered to be stolen away for the night and agreed on the terms i didn't want to know where we were going and what we were doing, and i ended up here. This campground is nothing short of magical, i don't think I've experienced freedom and happiness like this in a very, very long time. The pool and the lake are BEAUTIFUL, it is so very clean and the staff is AMAZING. 10/10 the best place to make new friends and forget life a little. We just left and are planning our next trip very soon, thank you SO much ❤

This was our first time going there. We went as a couple with some friends who had been there before. I'm not really a big camping person because I don't particularly like bugs or nature much, but it really was a great experience. Bathrooms were very clean. Staff was super friendly. Amazing time at the pool during the day and the club and our campfire at night. Bonfire was incredible and so nice to socialize. Food was above average. Not super fancy (it's a camping resort after all!) but everything we ate was good. All of the other guests were very friendly and welcoming. Having been to a number of other nudist places, people are generally very friendly when they have no clothes. But here we noticed everyone was extra friendly. Even the ones that are full-time residents were very welcoming and kind. There was truly a no judgment attitude. Majority of the guests identified as male and we were two of maybe a handful of people not identifying as male. But even so everyone was friendly and welcoming. We had a great experience and would definitely go back! Looking forward to next summer.

Had a great day at The Woods. The pool was immensely popular, full of beautiful men. Surrounded by a good sound system powered by good DJs. Couldn't wait to dance. Hanging by the huge bonfire was surreal being toasted in the light and dark of the evening. Good times and good company.

Myself and my partner chose spur-of-the-moment to visit for the first time 4 weeks ago (despite only living 45 minutes away). We have heard great things about this place, and let me tell you - it is all TRUE. Absolutely Amazing! We went for a day pass to the pool on a Sunday afternoon. Fell in love with the place. Have been back every weekend since. It is such a great time, with such great people.
