The Freight Station

Been here several times, the restaurant closed due to Covid but the bar is open, they get great bands in and have an awesome patio where the bands play weather provided.. it is Pennsylvania after all, where you can experience all 4 seasons in one day, yes it could be snowing then be 70 degrees outside.. it's happened! We can go from winter coats to shorts in a matter of hours.. this morning June 18th it was less than 50 degrees out and then shot up in the 70's in June.. imagine April and May!

The owner was phenomenal. The drinks were reasonably priced. The band was good. Lots of things to do like pool, corn hole, and darts. I had a very enjoyable time

I have only recently found out about this place and it's one of the coolest bars/music venues in the area. It's a huge bar and the employees are friendly. Always a diverse group of patrons and live music happens frequently. More people should know about this place!

Enormous bar live bands play on stages inside or outside depending on the weather, owner is the nicest guy you will ever meet, and I love that he has re purposed so much of our towns steel mill history into bar furniture. A very much needed place to help revive downtown Johnstown

My husband and I up for Thunder and of course it’s raining! So we stopped in to grab some lunch and wait for the rain to pass, this place was awesome! We love they way they are trying to hold onto the history of Johnstown. Wonderful atmosphere, friendly service and the food was very good

One of the coolest spots in Johnstown. Features three bars, all distinctly different, and also host great bands and karaoke nights. Great prices and open till 2am!

This my first time visit for djing and karakoe with jr mcafee for friday night and nice area also looking forward see how the crowd and drinks seem little too much so hopefully they will adjust so i did really enjoy at that place even know the owner lance good guy so keep it up and good luck

Went to see the band sour mash. Band was great. Beer was good. Fun night.

Enjoyed my food from Island Cuisine! If you haven't tried them yet, your missing out. Great service and the best jerk chicken ive had! Oh Yea they deliver as well.

What a cool location, so much history and a ton of room. Fantastic live music on the weekends!! This unique location really adds some really needed culture to the area

They just opened island cuisine restaurant and catering . If you're looking for something different something new this is the place to come the food is deliously different the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They are going to be expanding their menu but that being said they are worth a visit

If you’re trying to go out and not have a good time, then the freight station isn’t for you. Nothing beats an outside, open bar with great staff, people, and good live music!
