Hinckston RD Waterfall

Well worth the travel it took me to get there. The road to the waterfall is not in good condition. Be careful and drive slow.

Just found this picture on old phone. Me and my fiancé went last winter. You have have to watch your gps it will try to take you down a private road. But once you get there it’s right next to the road. Plenty of parking. This waterfall can dry up during the summer. Go after a rain storm or nice snow fall.

Love the waterfalls and the scenery. Need to return and do some more fishing here.

What a precious hidden gem!! I can't believe am only 30 min away and never heard of this place until I was looking for the whipey trail and I got lost and somehow found myself at an intersection and low and behold this beauty was starring in front of me!!! Blissful paradise and you could stay there forever!! Little tip.. the GPS leads u to a private property. When u get there don't turn in. Keep going straight for 2 miles and take the first right and drive downhill till u get to the intersection where the falls will stare right at ya. There's no parking but if u take the left and uphill u can park at the dam site. Worth it!! 😋

Easy waterfall to see from the comfort of your car. This waterfall is literally right along the road. Not a busy tourist spot.

It's so totally beautiful, both the memorial site and this gorgeous waterfall. It's so quiet and peaceful, I highly suggest a visit to see this waterfall, and a stop to honor our fallen heros.

No need to hike to this one...it's visible from the road. Very beautiful. Step out and take it in ❤

Beautiful place to visit, depending on the route you made need 4x4, there is a paved road comes right to it, name escapes me at this time.....sry.

Wish You Had To Hike To It But It's Beautiful And Easy To Find.

If you haven't been there especially in Winter then you must go! Just be aware that there is no winter maintenance on road.

Maps took us to a road that has signs....NO TRESPASSING....PRIVATE PROPERTY...we just passed that road up...continued on down the road...lead us straight to the falls...there is NO PARKING....the fall is right on the side of the main road....it is on back roads...no traffic there when we were there...now there were 2 people standing at the top of the fall....how they got there not sure lol...very nice fall...

It's a beautiful place with beautiful water but says no trespassing & no swimming so kinda stupid !!!

I gave 5 stars because something so beautiful deserves it. But, it is very public. You're literally on a road to see it, so that takes away from the peace of something of this caliber. I was lucky to visit when the water was flowing heavily.

A stunning waterfall that you can simply drive up to. Other posts mention trails but I didn't see any marked trails in the vicinity.

I grew up right down road from here it brought back so many beautiful memories. As a kid I hated only having 1 neighbor and there kids were boys lol but I would give anything to go back to those days..

The Honan Ave Community walking/biking trail is a nice trail that leads to the Hinckston Run Reservoir from Johnstown. It's is very scenic and worth the walk to see the waterfall at the end.
