The Hood made his way to Ebensburg PA and found this fantastic place!!! Actually The Hood was here before many years ago. However the changes they made has made the atmosphere here awesome! The food was delicious from before and now is just as delicious. Compliments to the chef!! He is fantastic and his food incredibly delicious! Our service was incredible. She was very prompt with our drinks and our food! If The Hood could give a 10 I would for this place. You know what The Hood will give them a 10!! They make you feel welcomed! Service 10 Atmosphere 10 food 10+! As always take care, be safe and be kind to one another. Remember to follow The Hood. Adventure and great food are out there.

All around excellent experience! The scallop dish was my favorite but everything was thoughtfully prepared. The warm bread came with house made honey butter. My first duck dish in years so this really hit the spot. The creme brulee was exactly the rich creamy custard you hope for. Top notch service and atmosphere. The water fall sign in the bar is unique and quite relaxing after a long day. Attention to detail makes this a 5-star experience!

Great place for fine dining in Ebensburg. The menu rotates every 2 or so months. Vegan and gluten free options are clearly labeled and they are willing to make accommodations to please everyone.

What a fabulous locally owned and managed restaurant! She runs the front of house and he runs the back of house. The staff are well versed with the high end menu and are very well trained and extremely polite. The interior has been recently renovated since the pandemic and looks classy and elegant. The food was absolutely decadent! I had P.E.I. Raspberry point oysters, then the surf and turf, which was a lobster tail, 4OZ filet mignon, grilled asparagus, and roasted red potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly and the clarified (Ghee) butter was incredible with the lobster. The cocktails were also well above average, from Blanton’s Bourbon (extremely rare) to Macon village french Chardonnay. This restaurant is an absolute prize for western Pennsylvania.

Mindy in awesome & the food is equally is awesome. We had the Dan Dan Noodles and Cacio e Pepe, with the Paper Plane and Boston Sour to drink (ask Mindy to make the drinks, she’s the best). Best food within a hundred miles, 11/10 would come again.

The restaurant is very charming. Interior, music, presentation of food and drinks, —everything is very nice. The place is a family running business and the owners are also very nice people. We really enjoyed conversation with them.

Price wise the restaurant is definitely above the average for the area, but there is no doubt that for what we got it worth every penny we spent (and, probably, even more).

We were a few minutes late to place a diner order, so that we ended up with bar menu, from which we selected lamb meatballs, truffle fries, and a cocktail. I would rate each item 5 out of 5.

Looks like I was so excited with the food that did not make any picture of it, but at least you can enjoy picture of raspberry chocolate cocktail we’ve ordered 😂🤣

This is hands down the best restaurant in a 60-mile radius. Amazing food, incredible cocktails, wonderful ambiance. The quality of every aspect of this restaurant is like something you’d find in a major city — but with the friendliness and intimacy only a small town can offer. The owners, Charles and Mindy, are absolutely lovely. Can’t sing the praises of Everyday Gourmet enough!

I've been a huge fan of Everyday Gourmet since shortly after they opened. This family owned, chef-led restaurant defines what it means to be locally-sourced. The ingredients are fresh, the menu is creative, and the food is just plain delicious.

On this visit I had one of my very favorite EG sandwiches - the Spicy Carolina Vinegar Pulled Pork. The pork is bold, tangy, and packs some heat. Typically served with coleslaw on top, I had mine on the side, along with their delicious sweet potato fries.

My husband had the Beef & Bleu Focaccia, which was sliced roast beef, Bleu cheese, garlic aioli, roast red peppers, lettuce, tomato & onion on grilled focaccia, and a side of fries.

For dessert we shared a slice of Caramel Crumb Cake that included layers of, well, caramel, white cake, buttercream icing and a layer of crumble. It was rich, delicious, and decadent. Yum!

If you like fresh, bold, creative food that is served in a lovely, comfortable atmosphere and owned by community-minded, family-focused people, then Everyday Gourmet is where you want to be.

The best bar and restaurant you will find in Western Pennsylvania. When I go to major cities, I cannot find cocktails and food as good as Everyday Gourmet. Mindy and Charles create an intimate atmosphere - the vibe is small town friendliness with an upscale dining experience. Truly a perfect synthesis of both worlds, classy yet homey. You have to visit! And maybe become a regular like me :)

Romantic, elegant, and the best food and drink I have had in a very long time.
It's definitely a special occasion place to go. It's expensive but so worth it. Don't miss a visit to this fabulous, unique restaurant or just go and have a drink at the bar.

This place never disappoints! Excellent food (no matter what we order) and service is second to none. Truly a gem tucked away in Ebensburg.

Cute location we found by accident as we drove through. Super friendly staff and a great selection for lunch. Some strong traditional food like blt and burgers, but many with a unique twist and taste. Hope to stop by again in the future.

My wife and I ate here for the first time last night, and it won’t be our last! The service was amazing! The owner greeted us kindly and offered to make us two amazing drinks! She really is a cocktail wizard (don’t be afraid to try the Key Lime Pie Martini - tastes like key lime pie in a glass). The menu was simple yet extensive, and we had such a hard time choosing what we wanted. So many great options, and the fact they are GF sensitive is really great. We can’t wait to come back and try some more amazing treats! Also, be sure to set aside some room for dessert….you won’t regret it 😊

This was my first visit since the remodel and updated menu. Mindy greeted me at the door with a hug. The food has always been amazing. The current menu is definitely gourmet comfort food, what more could you ask for... The amazing Expresso martini. Can't wait to visit again.

Absolutely great! My wife and I happened to be in the area and decided to see the menu. While we were both in what I would describe as casual wear the staff there treated us no differently than people seated in the dining area wearing suits and evening gowns. We chose to dine outside in their al fresco area which was extremely comfortable and welcoming. The food and service was first rate! Absolutely delicious pizza accompanied with a side of spinach and artichoke dip both made with fresh ingredients and served with homemade tortilla chips. For the quality of the food and overall experience the price was more than reasonable. I cannot wait to return and try out more of their heartier menu selections. It had the taste and atmosphere one would expect from a metropolitan top their restaurant in a small town setting and atmosphere. well done, a hidden gem for sure.

Had 45 minutes to spare while in Ebensburg and decided to stop in. Very pleasantly surprised. The loaded perogies were amazing. Plan on returning.

We visited Everyday Gourmet for our 10 year anniversary. My husband got the rack of lamb and I got the New York strip. Everything was delicious as always, excellent service by wait staff, and the owners are gracious hosts.
Highly recommend for a fine dining experience on the mountain.

In a 'Post COVID' world, this place has reinvented itself very well. Newly remodeled facility and revamped menu each deserve praise. Menu options offer something for everyone. Our two moderately priced dishes were superbly prepared and portions were large. Service was knowledgeable and attentive. Will absolutely return.

Sometimes you just have to treat yourself to something special. Luckily we have many options to choose from when that time comes along from buying that little thing you have had your eye on to going to an unbelievable dining experience that leaves you full but wanting so much more. It was our good fortune to have just had that unbelievable dining experience. If you would like to feel special, be treated like a celebrity , and have one of the most incredible dinners you have ever had, this hidden gem in Ebensburg is the place to go. A creative menu that uses nothing but the freshest and best ingredients is a taste buds dream and will leave you smiling from ear to ear with every bite. So when it is time to treat yourself to that something special, don’t hesitate to enjoy this shining five star dining experience, you won’t be disappointed.
