I have to say, this boba spot has secured its place as my absolute favorite. Whenever I swing by, I can't resist ordering either the Sunrise or Boyfriend drink – they're just too good to pass up. While the location itself is definitely safe, it tends to get pretty crowded, especially with the college campus right across the street. One thing you definitely don't want to forget when you're placing your order is to ask for their rewards card. Trust me, it's worth it – after you've racked up 10 drinks, you'll score yourself a freebie! And speaking of ordering, let me clue you in on a little secret: the rice balls here are absolutely divine. Personally, I can't get enough of the shrimp and crab ones, especially when they're loaded up with spicy mayo. It's like a flavor explosion in every bite. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Every single one of them goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience possible. They're always friendly, always respectful – it's truly a pleasure to be greeted with such warmth every time I walk through the door.

I’m a huge fan of lychee and they offer lychee boba tea. Win / win. The food is pretty good also. My favorites are the spring rolls and Shrimp RB.

Cute boba shop located within walking distance of NJIT. Portions are small but filling. I got the thai milk tea and Yaya chicken riceball. The Yaya has seaweed salad which was kind of slimy but chicken was flavorful. Got a large and it was the size of my palm. Also check the bottom of you're boba for a mindful message! <- it's the small things that count

Very flavorful gyoza, and loved the ya ya chicken onigiri as well. Was happy that they could adjust the sugar level of matcha latte to zero as well. Went there for the tea but the food turned out better. Just beside NJIT. Clean and helpful staff. Definitely seemed to be a good hangout place with ample seating.

As a first time customer, this was a very pleasant experience. Although they put a completely different name than the one given at the time of the order, they're service was greatly appreciated. The HULK is a must try. I had it with lychee Boba. The chicken rice ball was good on its own but 🔥 with a few drops of the lite soy sauce provided. 10/10 would recommend!

The place is cute and the tea hit the spot bc my usual place is closed .....

I tried the shrimp tempura rice ball. It was good in a cute wrapping with directions, it was my first time trying this so it was helpful. Had a spicy Mayo on the side which was good....Staff was friendly and helpful

Ordered from door dash, mistakenly received the wrong ordered. However, yaya tea took the accountability and the initiative to call me to accommodate me for the mistake. We need more restaurants with stellar customer service like this. All drinks and food are authentic and fantastic. Will be recommending to my family and friends.

Quiet, speedy service, great staff, and good food. If you can forgive the Live Laugh Love meets Japanese flare combination of interior design, it's actually a spot I recommend everyone to try at least once. I was pleasantly surprised to find the WFM Aerial chips.

I’ve been craving bubble tea for the longest and didn’t realize this place was here. I had black milk tea and it was the best I ever had. The tea was fragrant and the tapioca was perfect. I also ordered the large shrimp tempura onigiri (riceball)with a side of spicy mayo. This was my first time having onigiri and the staff was really helpful in giving me recommendations of which ones are popular. I’ll definitely be coming back soon.

Tried this spot for the first time and I love it. The Teas were refreshing. I had The I Love Yaya and Hulk both were good. The containers are pretty neat, each has a message on the bottom. The fried shrimp Gyoza were fresh and tasty. The rice balls are unique. If you enjoy sushi you'll enjoy. Hidden Gem.

I love this place. The selection of teas is great ask for the secret menu. The onigiri is amazing with or without the spicy mayo my favorites are Takoyaki and Shrimp Tempura. The fried shumai was so much better than the standard steamed version. I tried the yakisoba it was a bit greasy and the cabbage was limited. Small selection of milk tea is great to taste. The staff is both friendly and helpful.

I have always enjoyed a good bubble tea but Yaya Tea honestly was the most delicious "treat yourself" snack/drink of 2020 (and 2021 to be honest). My sister and I have dubbed Fridays to be Boba Friday so obviously we order that but more recently we've been trying out the various for options and yup I definitely recommend you to grab some too!
