B&L Caribbean Restaurant

We got a small jerk chicken platter, with Mac and cheese and a beef patty.
The food was great. The chicken was fall-off-the-bone and perfectly cooked.
Mac and cheese was wonderful and very cheesey.
The beef patty was tasty, but IMO could use more filling.
Some items I like seeing were not on the menu like white fish, cabbage, and hard bread, but I heard things rotate, which is cool.
IMO for the price it was a good deal, but perhaps a little more chicken for the price. I'm a 190 lb man and could easily eat it all and be hungry.
Overall we recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at B&L Caribbean Restaurant and tried their pulled pork mac & cheese combo. Let me tell you, it was an absolute culinary delight! The mac & cheese was creamy and perfectly cooked, with a rich, velvety sauce that complemented the tender, smoky pulled pork beautifully.

What made the experience even more memorable was the owner Bryan, who ensured we were enjoying our meal. Their warm hospitality and genuine passion for their food truly shone through, making us feel like valued guests rather than just customers.

If you're looking for a unique and mouthwatering dining experience, I can't recommend B&L Caribbean Restaurant enough. We'll definitely be back to explore more of their fantastic menu!

I tried this restaurant a couple weeks ago and cannot wait to go back! They beef patty was so yummy, and the jerk chicken was full of flavor. I just visited their hot dog cart and had an Italian sausage tonight. It was exactly how it was supposed to taste. Simple and done right. Please try this place out. You will not regret it.

Food was fantastic. Flavors were amazing. Service was phenomenal. I recommend anything from the Mac and cheese to the jerk chicken. We will be coming back! 🙌

Went here for the first time yesterday and we loved it!! I’ve never had such tender chicken, fall off the fork and melt in your mouth tender! We both had the curry chicken. We wanna go more so we can try everything. And the chef/owner I think it was, was super nice and welcoming. We will going back!

My family and I came up to Carlisle to visit Dickinson during our college process. We went off the beaten track and followed our noses to this small but mighty restaurant. It’s definitely more take out oriented, but there is nice seating options available. My dad is not an adventurous eater, but this past year he has been on an exploration of sorts, entirely my doing, which has made him branch out from the regular chicken and potatoes. In light of that, he was a little hesitant trying this place out, but the owner eased his mind entirely. He gave out samples that were enough for all of us, and gave a thorough run down of each dish and how it was cooked. There were no need for questions because he had already read your mind before you thought it. My mom had an old cup of tea and the owner offered to make her a new batch because it was very cold outside that day. It was presented beautifully. Needless to say, we were beyond satisfied. The food was exceptional, so much so my dad got two orders worth of food just for him and his leftovers. We all decided that even if Dickinson College isn’t the right fit for me, we will definitely be coming back even if just for the food.

My wife took me here for a surprise on my birthday. She had the curry chicken and I had the fried chicken combos. We both had sides of mac & cheese, beans and rice, cabbage, and we both shared a meat pie.

The food was excellent! Friendly atmosphere. We will be back. Thank you Brian.

Best tasting food in Carlisle right now! I had the jerk chicken Mac n cheese, and Cole slaw. Every bite was amazing and flavorful. I found my new go to spot. I haven't had such a great tasting meal like this in a long time. I wish the portions were alittle bigger because I don't want to stop eating it. 10 out of 10

Seriously, people, treat yourself to some flavor that will rock your dining experience! I have tried the jerk chicken 🙌🏼, the oxtails, pulled pork, rice and beans, cabbage, macaroni and cheese, coco bread, plantains and meat pies. Everything is fantastic! We need Brian and Latoya to keep providing this Caribbean deliciousness to Carlisle. The dining room is small, but there is also outdoor seating in the back. Take out is super convenient. Homestyle Caribbean food that really hit the spot! Between our whole party, we tried almost everything available today - jerk chicken, pulled pork, goat curry, fried chicken, mac n cheese, rice and beans, plantains, and more. Everything was wonderfully cooked and satisfied our palates.

Bryan was so welcoming and friendly, and seemed that way with everyone coming through the door (grabbing pickup orders mostly) while we ate lunch. The space is small, but we were the only party dining in so it worked out for us. Bathroom was also tidy and clean, which is always a plus.

Will definitely keep this place in mind for the next time we are passing through the area!

My partner and I got the jerk chicken, pulled pork, mac & cheese, plantains, and coco bread. It was my first time trying jerk chicken but it was so flavorful and had the perfect amount of spice. The food was all delicious and my bf even said it’s his new favorite restaurant in carlisle! 10/10 recommend

This was SO good! We ordered several things to try. Unfortunately, they were out of a couple items, so the owner called and got us set up with other items to try. It was all amazing. The Mac and cheese might be some of the best I've ever had. The jerk chicken was amazing. I cannot wait to try the oxtail!

My girlfriend and I met in the Bahamas and wanted to try the food here. It was spot on to what we remember. The restaurant has all the appeal and delicious food, we kept our meal simple with classic jerk chicken, Mac and cheese, and sweet plaintains. This tropical cuisine will take your tastebuds to the Caribbean! The owner seems friendly and helpful- all in all a must visit in Carlisle! The portion sizes were also quite generous and we will be eating our leftovers for the next couple days.

I don't know what has changed I haven't been able to eat here in a year or 2 but everything was amazing flavorful and spicy! Loved it! Definitely improved. Happy I decided to try again on doordash today!

Fantastic! I had the pulled pork, plantains, and cabbage and it was superb. My husband had the fried chicken and beans and rice. His was also exceptional. Plus, we got to meet the owner and chef to thank them for the amazing meal. They also do catering so check then out! Delicious with a capital D!!

The best Caribbean food. I have tried Caribbean food in Roatan Honduras and this was the best I ever had. Thank you so much for bringing this style food to Carlisle. Loved the food.

Had the Jerk Chicken platter and fried plantains. Everwas delicious. The chicken was perfectly cook. Never had sweet fried plantains before. They were a nice treat.

Amazing Pulled Pork!! I was visiting from NJ and gave this place a try. It did not disappoint. Great Mac N Cheese too.

Nice small place for Great Tasty lunch. Had sides only for lunch, but when back in area for a dinner, the Jerk Chicken looked Fantastic. 4 years since I've had Fried Plantains and I'm in Heaven. Thank you
