Metro Diner

We had a party of 9 adults and 5 kids and I was shocked at how fast our food came out with the different orders. Desi and Morgan took care of us, and split our table. The service was great, they were very attentive and friendly.. they were quick to move plates to give us 'more elbow room,' and the food was hot and tasty. The chicken tenders are out of this world , I can't explain it, but they are just the best I've had!!

Great service, everyone is pleasant and makes sure you have anything you need. You're greeted immediately and made to feel welcomed. The food is good - I'd say a little bit "nicer" than typical diner food. We've had salads, soup, breakfast, burgers, fish fry, etc. and everything was very good. Prices are reasonable. Atmosphere is clean, nice and enjoyable experience. Servers Lil and Desi have been great, in addition to the others!

Candy and all of the staff are super friendly and efficient. The place is nice, clean and the food comes out very quickly. The portions are big and the food is always very good! It’s just a can’t miss place to eat!

Had the Bacon Avocado Bowl, and it was delish! Harley was such an amazing server. Will come back for the meatloaf as she suggested.

The sausage gravy and biscuit meal was incredible. Service was amazing by Harley. Will definitely return.

This place is an absolute gem to have found. The service as soon as we walked in the door was top notch. Morgan💛 our server was just the most friendly and super helpful as I am a difficult person sometimes. I would give them 1million stars out of 10 and recommend everyone eat here! Thank you Metro Diner we are customers for life now.

This was my first time there. I had the eggs Benedict, my mother had the eggs Benedict too and we split an order of avocado toast. Both tasted amazing! I am already planning my next trip back there. Service was amazing too. The server was so nice and attentive. I can't wait to try other items on their menu.

This was our first time here. What a great diner! We got in quickly even though it was full. Our server, Whitney, was pleasant and efficient. Our food came out in less than 5 minutes and it was wonderful! The sweet tea is REAL, brewed tea and is really good. We love that we can pay at the table with a credit card so quickly. It's nice that the credit card doesn't have to leave your sight.
Update: 3 years later and we still love this place. They no longer take credit cards at the table so that's a bummer. But the food is still really good. I've gotten several different things here and liked all of them.
Update: here again today for breakfast. I always get the Bissell. It's a perfect size. Today I substituted the cinnamon roll pancakes for the regular ones and I was not disappointed. They are delicious!!

Calm atmosphere, fresh food, David was our server and was great. Both of us had the fish and chips, came out hot and fresh, Cole slaw was a little dry but had good flavor. We plan on coming back. Good experience

My first time at Metro diner, and not only was the food delicious (waffles, potatoes, turkey n gravy) the service was awesome too. My server, Candy Krall was a polite, tiny ball of energy. I ended up taking advantage of their gift card promotion which was buy a $50 gift card get a $10 gift card free. Go get a gift card, ask for Candy and I bet she’ll take care of you like she did us.

One of our favorite finds on the pike. We've been in a few times, and been delighted with each meal. We got the cinnamon roll pancakes, a bold city burger, and two eggs with hash brown and toast with a side of bacon. Oh and how could we forget three peach iced teas! Brooke was very pleasant, and our orders seemed to be out to us as soon as we put them in. We'll be back again for some chicken and waffles :)

Best diner in Central Pennsylvania. It is always awesome. Today I got the Meat Lovers Omelet and my wife got the Eggs Benedict. Chicken & waffles is also excellent as is the chicken salad sandwich. I could go on and on, everything on the menu is excellent! Morgan was our waitress today and she along with the other servers are the best in town. The owner is always there in the kitchen, making sure everything is done perfectly. The only negative is that it's often crowded, but then again it's obvious why. Try it out if you haven't already and you will start coming weekly!

This is a great place to go. We were there for lunch. I got the Chicken Salad and it was delicious. No one had anything bad to say about there food. The waffles are huge. You can tell the owner/ manager takes great pride in this place as he stopped to talk with us when we were done eating. The staff was friendly. Very clean and we will go back again.

My family and friends go to the Metro Diner about once a week. The food is excellent! In fact my granddaughters say the food is “more than excellent!”. We always have Candy as our server. She is awesome! She is on top of everything and is so nice!

Lillian was an amazing server. Attentive and kind. We enjoyed our meal very much!

If you are looking for somewhere amazing to eat look no further!! Not only is the food amazing but the service is superb! Ask for Desiree as your server (she is my favorite)! Always greeting you with a smile and providing quick and friendly service! If you haven’t been here yet you must check it out!

Ok so I’ve managed restaurants for the past 20 years and this little lady in the kitchen was simply amazing! I might try and steal her to be honest! She was moving back and forth helping salad station then on egg and then expo! While making jokes and laughing with the guests on the counter making the experience memorable. Whoever that little lady was she deserves a raise!!!! If not I’ll take her at my Texas Roadhouse!

Super awesome environment here! The food is always great! Bacon & potatoes never disappoint. Don’t ever get rid of the chocolate cake! The manager is always so friendly! Will be back!

Came here for dinner and tried the fried chicken eggs Benedict and it was incredibly delicious! Every part of the dish was cooked to perfection, just the right temperature, and came out very fast. On top of that, my server, Laura, was very helpful and positive. Very much a 5 star experience and I will come back if I'm ever in town again!

Really enjoyed the chicken fingers here. My experience was amazing due to Desiree, she was very welcoming and had the most amazing energy! I will definitely be coming back!
