This review is long overdue. Abel’s crew did a great job. Very professional crew. We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner and his son. Have the say the biggest reason was Sean. Very down to earth dude who explain everything in detail when providing us an estimate. Thanks for taking care of us Sean.

I can not say enough good things about the quality of work these guys. They provided quality product and workmanship. There was no debris left behind, and no roofing nails were to be found on the ground. Abel & Sons is beyond a 5 star company. I highly recommend this company.

We had Sean come to our house for an estimate for a new roof and then he worked with us throughout the entire process and made everything so easy and understandable. Out of all the roofers we spoke to, Abel & Son really stood out for being the best!!!

Getting a new roof on a 4-bedroom house is an investment. When we started the process, we looked at price, experience, and reviews and picked Abel and Sons.

But as the roofing process went on, we realized how many more things mattered we hadn't thought about. The staff were extremely efficient and polite at all stages (explaining options during the estimate to completion). But the meticulous care they took during clean up really impressed me, as they searched high and low to pick up any nails that might have fallen.

I highly recommend them for this investment in your home!

Abel & Sons deliver what they promise. Hard working, professional crew who keep working until the job is completed. Clean-up was complete, nothing was left undone. Extremely satisfied with the work by Abel & Son on my full roof replacement. They replaced it in April, and at 3 months in at the time of this review I have been keeping a close eye on it, especially during long duration rain/ heavy storms, and so far I have not had a single issue. Their pricing was very competitive (I had other estimates from other companies) and everything was straightforward and simple from the beginning. They were actually able to get to my job earlier than initially estimated, so it was great that they were proactive in bumping up my job date when they could. The work was estimated to be 2 days, and although it did go into a 3rd day, it was because a steady rain began by late morning on the first day and they had to stop work. They were careful to make sure everything was covered and protected when the rain started on the first day, and I had no issues. They were done and cleaned up by lunchtime on day 3, so it truly was a 2 day job as they estimated it to be. The three man crew was hard-working, polite, professional, and courteous, as they took the time to answer some questions I had and look at a few trouble spots there were in the old roof I was concerned about. As I said, I have had no problems whatsoever, and I am very satisfied with the job and the process. The crew also did an excellent job at cleaning up upon completion. Also, communication with the company was prompt and consistently responsive. Absolutely would recommend Abel & Son to anyone.

Fantastic communication from start to finish. Like everyone, they’ve had to respond to cost increases, but we still feel like they gave us the best price of all the estimates we received AND more importantly, they put a roof on my house that will last the rest of my life! Very fast & efficient work, and even though the house presented extreme challenges, they worked through it all.

I found a soft spot on my roof when I was repairing my ridge vent from wind damage. I called the number listed, left a message, and a very kind man called me back. His name was Sean.

Sean came out the next day and inspected my roof — his findings echoed exactly what I saw myself. Sean was professional, kind and very personable. He provided me with a quote that I thought was favorable (approximately ~11k on a 1,100 square foot ranch-home). The quote included roof repair and the installation of Tamko XT shingle, and whatever else goes along with roof repair (my wife and I are first time home owners).

The roofers showed up within the quoted time frame and really did a bang-up job. Couldn’t have asked for more. Unfortunately, I had a medical emergency and couldn’t really talk to the installation techs, but they were very kind when I explained why I couldn’t chat longer.

All in all, my wife and I came home to a stellar new roof. The installation techs did a spectacular job of cleaning up all refuse, as well. I would recommend Abel & Son to anyone in need of roof help.

We contracted Abel & Son to replace our roof, siding, and gutters. The experience from start to finish was outstanding. We met with Patrick who presented our options, clearly explaining the different roofing and siding options, and patiently waited for us to agree on colors.

The two crews who worked on our house (roofing then siding) were professional, didn't rush through the job, and in talking to them, really made it seem that doing a quality installation was of the utmost importance.

With all finished, we are extremely happy and glad we chose Abel & Son. As a retired military person, every dollar is important to us. Abel & Son wasn't the cheapest estimate we had, but their estimate was well defined, and covered everything I had requested. The quality materials, installation, and result was well worth what we paid for.

Abel and Sons did a terrific job of replacing my roof, siding and trim. Their roof crew was fast, efficient, and left the job site cleaner than they found it. Their siding guys were true craftsmen who made sure every thing was finished with precise care. Finally their gutter installers were effective and creative in designing a new system to remove the water from my roof. My experience from initial contact to completed contract was an easy and great experience. I would recommend them to anyone.

We recently had Abel & Son complete a sizeable roofing job, and were extremely pleased with the work completed. The crew performed the job exactly to spec, and the end result looks great. Most importantly, they made a point of cleaning up thoroughly each day, and at the end of the job as well. Would definitely recommend!

I originally wrote a not so very nice review. My issue with Abel & Son came from poor communication on their part and some on my part as well. But, the owner contacted me soon after my review was posted. He profusely apologized. He explained the blame for my issue was on him and him only. That is a real leader! I could hear the anguish in his voice about the whole incident. This is obviously an owner who cares deeply about his companies reputation. A real throwback to a bygone era and very refreshing these days. Abel & Son are not able to do work for me this time, but rest assured I will call them when I need a new roof and get an estimate from them. They deserve at least that opportunity!

We hired Abel for our roof and siding. The crews were reliable, professional, and courteous. They cleaned up and took care of everything. Very good with communication and keeping us posted on their progress. I would recommend them over anyone else in the region.

We just love our new siding. The crew from Abel and Son were just great and were easy to work with. They were careful to keep our lawn and home clear of debris and communicated with us throughout the project. We would definitely recommend them to anyone needing their services.

The roof is very high quality. The crews are extremely experienced, I know a few from when we were young, and they have been doing it for 20+ years. If you want peace of mind, there is no other company.

We are very pleased with the result of our roof and new gutters. The men were there when they said they would be, courteous, cleaned up after themselves, were finished in one day, and all knew what their job was and did it, no complaining. We had a leak around our chimney with Tropical Storm Ida. Bob was out on that Monday and took care of it, so far no more leaks, and even took pictures to show us our chimney. We were told to call again if it continues to leak.

Abel and Son were OUTSTANDING. They placed new siding on our home and new gutters. Staff was friendly, hard working, on time, had very good communication and their work was incredible. My house looks brand new. I recommend Abel and Son to anyone.
