Fantastic wine shop...and so much more. Featuring excellent PA wines - for you to drink or share as gifts. They offer tastings and flights of wine...or you could simply purchase by the glass and sip while you enjoy some tasty food...or get a bottle or two to go. The folks at Castlerigg are laid back and happy to help you decide. Comfy atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating and right in downtown Carlisle.

I’ve been coming here since they opened — I now live over an hour away and still make trips to come to see the amazing staff and wonderful wine selection at Castlerigg. Alan has done an amazing job cultivating a fabulous, comfortable, and welcoming space to spend with friends, old and new.

Stopped in to listen to Rich and Bubbly. Very entertaining. We had the crab dip to snack on and it was delicious. Can I order it for takeout? Yum.

Beautiful wine shop with a great atmosphere and delectable wines that are sure to hit every tastebud. Casterigg has become one of my favorite places to visit in all of Carlisle.

Great place for a date night or night out on the town with friends. Highly recommend anything off the food menu, especially the spinach dip! Their food pairs nicely with their award winning wines.

The staff are so friendly and care to all your needs. Very knowledgeable and spend time conversing with their customers. Every time I visit, I’m greeted with a smile and feel very welcomed.

Stop on in to this local business and enjoy a glass of wine or even an appetizer. I recommend sitting outside on the porch during a beautiful day!

This was my first time visiting. It was a very nice experience. The shop is really neat. The staff was incredibly helpful explaining their wines and menu. I had a great time with our little group. We will definitely visit again.

First time here. Flight was all I needed for some catching up with a friend. 15$ for 4 2oz pours. So many wines to choose from. I will return to try the other flavors! You can also buy by the glass or bottle!

Very good food (Tapas) and service. Large selection of wines reasonably priced by bottle or glass. Small but adequate selection of bottled micro-brew beer. Warm atmosphere in an old Victorian house. Live music on Saturdays. Good place to meet with friends. We enjoyed our experience.

This place makes you feel like you've been transported to a bigger city. Was here 2 nights this week. Listened to some good comedy(please do this again). Next night, great music. And always, tasty snacks, decent wine, fabulous staff. Never disappointed.

We are sitting here with friends listening to fine live Jazz, sipping wine and trying snacks. I am so grateful they made it through the pandemic and came out still wonderful. Thanks for keeping this venue/wine bar going, and I'm so glad to be back

A lovely place to sip fantastic wines!
The servers were knowledgeable and sociable. The foods were delectable with quite a few gluten free options.

My husband and I spent a terrific evening at Castlerigg. Allen was a wonderful host and extremely knowledgeable about all of the wines. We enjoyed a variety of wine flights and some delicious cheese appetizers. We will return on our next trip to Carlisle.

A nice place to relax and try wine in the middle of a busy town. I tried the wine flight and was able to sample four tasty wines. They do serve food plates as well.

This is a unique, quaint establishment offering a wide variety of wine. If you are a novice in the area of wines, they offer wine tasting. They also offer food. I had their crab dip which was very good. My friends had cheese and crackers. Their cheeses are great! I was there when they had free entertainment which was a talented young man named Matt Robinson who sang opera. It was a memorable evening and will surely go again!!

Fabulous little place to get local wines, a delicious bite to eat, have a wine tasting with friends, or even grab a wine slushie! The atmosphere is laid back and relaxing and the front patio is a great place for people watching. Alan is a wealth of information and can recommend the perfect wine for your tastes!

Great selections, very good eats. Love that my dogs are welcome to sit on the patio. They also offer fun activities and live music. Thank you for your hospitality Allen.

This is my favorite place to get wine! They sell wines from local vineyards and all the wines are wonderful. They have some really good appetizers and sometimes do live music. Great place to just pick up a bottle of wine to go or sit with a friend and drink! The owners are really great and very knowledgeable.

Great service, very comfortable, relaxing. Staff is very find the wine sample I had was Amazing and the Crab Dip is Awesome. I Highly recommend you visit here if your in the Carlisle area❤

Great place. Beautiful. Feels like your in your own home surrounded by awesome people. The music was fantastic. The gallen cheese and the warm bread. Was amazing . Don't forget to take a couple chocolate truffles home. The best ..

Kitschy little in-town winery with good wines, “Tickled Pink” my fav, and try the bacon wrapped stuffed dates-yum!!! Attentive friendly staff. Great location-you can walk all over Carlisle Borough from here! Front porch is a great place to relax and take Carlisle in. Shop also boasts gift items for the wine connoisseur. Tip-easily walk from Pomfret Parking Garage if on street parking is scarce.
