This was an absolutely incredible experience!! I got a root canal here and was so relieved and thankful to have such a kind and receptive team. My procedure took about 35 minutes, it was so efficient! And truly, there was so little pain that the procedure was almost boring 😂😂
If you’re nervous or unsure where to go, just choose this place. They are amazing.

I really have to say that I highly recommend them. The staff and Dr. Franco were really wonderful to me. I called their office after my dentist recommended that I be assessed for a root canal due to pain from a filling and they were able to get me an emergency appointment the next day. I walked in having massive anxiety about what would happen during my very first root canal (having had a bad experience at an oral surgeon years ago this was one of my worse fears). I was shaking and crying when they took me back. Dr. Franco was so kind and compassionate. He sat down, took his time explaining the procedure, and assured me he would keep me comfortable. He did a fantastic job numbing me. I barely felt a thing! He kept asking me if I was comfortable during points of the procedure just to make sure. When he was finished, he showed me everything that had been done on my X-ray and asked again if I had any questions before going to the next patient.

Also they participated with my insurance and my copay at the time of service was even less than what they quoted me over the phone the day before.

I know everyone handles these procedures differently and no one wants to have a root canal done, but I just had to thank them again for their kindness. I was able to eat and drink normally for the first time in weeks tonight thanks to them!

I have horrible dental anxiety from a root canal 10 years ago at a location in another state. When I was referred by my dentist for a root canal, I was so nervous. The staff was so sweet to me and got me in THE NEXT DAY for an emergency visit because of the pain I was in. I was in the chair within 10-15 minutes of my appointment time and with being an emergency appointment I expected to wait longer. They were very accommodating and distracted me with funny conversation throughout the whole visit. When I felt a little bit of discomfort during the procedure they stopped immediately and numbed the area more. I couldn't be happier with this office! 10 out of 10 recommendation!

This was my third root canal and was by the far the best one. Dr. Curtis was very informative and patient. He took his time making sure it was done properly as my roots were curved at the bottom. Highly recommend as we all know root canals are no fun! Also all the staff are very friendly and willing to help.

I took my teenager here to hv a root canal done. She had alot of pain, and we were able to get an appointment for the next day! 👍The staff was very friendly & informative and even stayed after hours to complete the job! 👍 The procedure was nearly pain free and I wud highly recommend this place and wud not hesitate to return in the future, if the need arises. The only negative thing is the price. But I know, no one wants to work for nothing. 😊 Thanks again for your kind, professional, and immediate care of my daughter.

The folks in the Hershey office are AWESOME! I was in extreme pain and they found an appointment for me the same day I called. Everyone from the person on the phone to the Doctor was and continues to be extremely caring, considerate and gentle. Best of all, my condition started to improve almost immediately.

Dr. Franco and the complete staff were very kind and caring, when I was in considerable pain. He responded to me on a Saturday morning very promptly, which I greatly appreciated; working me into his schedule with emergency treatment.

Dr. Drnach and his assistant, Melanie, were very kind and walked me thru the entire procedure today. Little to no pain. In and out. Very pleasant environment.

My 9-year old son was scheduled for a root canal today. I was expecting to be able to accompany him and be present for the procedure. When they called him back, they informed me I wasn't allowed to go back with him. He was nervous as was I - this was his first experience with an extended medical/dental procedure. When I asked why, I was told it was due to Covid restrictions. I was told "that's how we do it here" and "all kids go back by themselves for procedures here". I explained I wasn't aware of this policy and would like to accompany him. They refused and told me my only option was to cancel the procedure that we waited 3 months for.
I asked to speak to the endodontist in person and he wouldn't come out to the waiting room to speak to me, which in my opinion was very poor customer service.

My son is a very mature 9-year old and agreed to have the procedure done. He did very well and I believe the endodontist did a good job technically on his tooth.

I'm not sure why I wasn't informed ahead of time that I wouldn't be allowed to accompany him during the procedure. This was very unexpected as I have always been allowed to accompany him on every other medical, dental, or urgent care visit we've ever been to before. If I was informed I could have chosen a different endontist or I would have been able to prepare my son and myself appropriately and reduced both our stress levels.

I was thankful the procedure went well and that my son is mature enough to handle experiences like this on his own however it was a very unsatisfactory experience because of this and we won't be returning to this practice.

*My wife wrote this review, which I feel is a bit harsh just for this issue. I did edit the review star count*

I honestly had a very poor experience here. I typically have anxiety with dentist appts. I was referred here by my regular dentist since I needed two root canals done. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, everyone was very unpleasant. The front staff seemed disorganized and my dental assistant seemed very unpersonable and very rushed. She talked to me with a lot of attitude and just had poor bedside manor. I really did not feel comfortable with this practice performing my dental work. Not to mention I was in pain and would have to wait until September to have any type of work done. I actually called for a second opinion in their parking lot because of how upset I was of how everything was handled.

I cancelled my appointment to reschedule and I did not reschedule. The lady who answered the phone was one of the most disrespectful receptionist i’ve ever talked to she didn’t even offer or want to reschedule my appointment. I think I dodged a bullet with that one. I would recommend Hiltz!

I had my root canal June 29, 2017. It is now September 18, 2017 and I still have pain in the tooth. I have called the endodontist and my regular dentist and they just keep saying take 3, 200 mg Ibuprofen and 1, 325 mg tylenol twice a day. I have been taking them since June 29! I can not chew anything even scrambled eggs, spaghetti or anything on that side. I feel like I have an infection in that tooth. And I have bad breath that I feel is coming from that tooth. I feel I need a 10 day course of an antibiotics but you might think I was asking for a controlled substance or something! They can not see me in the Hershey office until after October 2. They want me to hoof it to Harrisburg and I live in Schuylkill Co. I spoke to them today and they are asking the doctor if I can do antibx for 10 days and see if it helps. But either way it has not been a pleasant experience. It will probably be a re- do root canal! If they can get this tooth fixed and get me out of pain and I can finally eat normally on that side I will change my review. But right now I am not pleased. But what bugs me is that I have told them since day one the pain has not stopped! They seem to be disregarding my comments and I am the patient.

covid is making it hard to be there for your kids in scary situations like a painful root canal on my 12 year old who is scared of the dentist as it is. id say the secretary came off so rude. she didn’t try to make my daughter feel okay about anything and was very snarky towards me. i wouldn’t recommend this place. try a different location.
