The Greystone Public House should get good points not only for food, service and atmosphere but also for being opened on a freezing Tuesday evening and for the excellent upkeep of the parking lot!
The dining room area where we were seated was quiet and elegant, with plenty of space between tables, which made private conversations possible. Our server was polite and knowledgeable. My friend had the Greystone Baked Meatballs with the house salad and I had The Sage Pappardelle Duck with Pancetta ( that is Parmesan cheese) and the seafood chowder.
I was happy they had the pappardelle type pasta, which is high in fiber and lower in net carbs.
The desserts were also excellent.
Great experience!

Love it here. Great restaurant with great food. Love the summer when the patio is open and they have live music. Sunset on the patio is excellent.

Glad I found this place and can't wait to go back. Everything about it was great. The ambience was relaxing, modern, and clean. The staff were all very professional and prompt. Food was beyond delicious. The polenta dish was beyond 5 stars, I almost ordered a second one to take home with me. Definitely a good date night spot. Summer you can sit outside and listen to live music and the patio set up is awesome. Inside candlelight tables and a great bar setup. Fantastic job on the new remodel. 👏

Had the best dinner tonight. The swordfish with the shrimp and mussels. There was a piece of seafood in every bite. The sauce was amazing also. Whenever I go to Greystone I have to get the focaccia and crab dip. They are always consistent.

Our first time here was for a special occasion. The bar area is welcoming with skilled bartenders. The menu makes it tough to pick just one entree. We had a great experience we will be back just for drinks and apps...

Went here for our anniversary. Wonderful experience! We asked for somewhere a little private so they put us in our own small room. There were other tables, but no one was seated there. The server was attentive and gave solid recommendations. Food was excellent. Braised short ribs with mushrooms is an incredible dish!

Great spot a few miles from colonial park mall was here for lunch and was really surprised it want that busy but they have outside seating under a big tent and wonderful indoor seating with a modern flair waitress was on point jovial attentive and prompt in the service food was quick to arrive app first quickly followed by the main entrees everything was delicious right temp and exactly as described can’t wait to come back here for dinner as the lunch meme was a little slim on offerings however what we had was great the entrees on the dinner side looked equally amazing!

Went here for dinner for my birthday last week. It was a beautiful night so we sat outside. Great atmosphere they had live music too! The service was excellent the waitress recommended dishes for us.

Everything we got was absolutely delicious. I got a pesto pasta, I don’t recall the name, it was slightly dry I would have liked a little more pesto but still very yummy. My boyfriend got shrimps and scallops with an asparagus risotto and I loved his dish more than mine!! I also tried their baked oysters with cheese and spinach and they were delicious. As someone who has never tried oysters I think it was a great way to try them for the first time as an alternative to plain and raw.

It doesn’t seem like there is a dress code from what I found on the internet but everyone at the restaurant was dressed relatively nicely. Overall had a great experience!

We held our daughter's bridal shower at the Greystone and it was Perfect!! Jessica was very responsive and handled everything. All we had to do was bring the decorations we wanted. The room is beautiful on its own and was even better with our decorations. The food was fantastic!! We had the Brunch Menu with the Mimosa bar. Nick was our waiter and he was so attentive but never intrusive. We had a wonderful time and so did our guests. Thank you to Jessica and Nick for making the shower as perfect as it could be.

DELICIOUS gourmet comfort food in a clean, casual, upscale setting. Full bar with table seating and separate dining areas make it a perfect place to gather with friends for a drink or an intimate dinner with a date. Reasonable prices for the portions. Multiple outdoor patio areas make for great seasonal dining for lunch or dinner. City chic in the burbs. HIGHLY recommend!!

Greystone is our go-to place to meet up with family and friends! The food and drinks are always great, and the atmosphere is cozy and friendly. The new pizza oven is a great touch, and we love that we can confidently bring people who are gluten free here and there will be plenty of options for them - even for desert. I personally miss their biscuits they used to serve to start though - that maple bacon butter was so good! That said, my fiance and I love it so much here that we are having our rehearsal dinner in the Greystone Room this coming summer. They have been great to plan an event with and Jessica has been quick to respond with any questions we have had!

Just visited Greystone yesterday for their re-opening (after they were temporarily closed for repairs after a water main break in December). We are so happy this Harrisburg staple is back! The new food menu is phenomenal! My husband and I shared a 10" Margherita pizza as an appetizer, I ordered the Bolognese as my entree and he ordered the Sage Pappardelle as his entree. The pizza is made entirely from scratch and the toppings are very fresh and flavorful. The pizza oven is right next to the dining area, so we were able to watch our pizza being made, which was really neat. My Bolognese featured house made pasta which was cooked perfectly (slightly al dente, which is just the way I like) and the Bolognese meat sauce was superb. My husband loved his Sage Pappardelle, which we were both happy to still see on the menu after their re-opening. Our cocktails were great. I got the Pineapple Bourbon Smash and my husband got the Paloma. The decor was gorgeous and the service was top notch. We highly recommend Greystone and we can't wait to go back!

Great food and good service. The patio seating is great for summer evenings with some live music. Recommend reservations, but there is some seating at the bar. The menu changes so take a look at the website over what people post.

The food was several choices. But it was all excellent. To me, the cooks know how to cook a variety of foods. The prices was competitive, considering the economy. Not overly loud or TV distractions. So much easier to talk.

Stop for lunch today is that outside on the beautiful patio.

Lunch was Golden Beet and Tomato Toast and I subbed gluten-free Pita for the toast. I also had the crispy Brussels. Both delicious! Service was on point, as always.

It's absolutely stunning inside and out. I highly recommend to visit!

So happy my favorite neighborhood restaurant is back! Just as beautiful and just as yummy. I would only say that I don't like the coffee mugs- glass with metal handle, def not worth losing those 5 stars, but those mugs aren't great, everything else was superb!

2nd visit after the remodel (10/23)
Make a reservation.
The menu has a good selection.
The appetizer we decided to try was the Stove Oven Baked Smoked Feta. It was not exactly what we expected. The feta was pureed. The fig jam was placed on top and was sweet but not fig enough to compliment the feta. The bread served with the dip was good with the oil and sprig of rosemary on it.
Get the small salads.
We ordered the small plate salads to go with it meals. It's a generous portion of fresh crisp greens. I had the Caesar, the wife the chopped.

Dinner was the 20 ounce Porterhouse. Cooked perfectly medium rare The rapini is al dente and flavorful. I tried the salsa verdi, it came with the steak. The steak needed no salsa.

The wife ordered the pan seared salmon. The salmon was slightly overcooked. Buttered corn puree helped balance out the salmon being a moist puree.

A glass of wine and a couple Greystone old fashioned complimented the meal.

The food overall is worth the visit, service was attentive.

Father's Day Brunch (2018).
2 adults, 2 preteen boys.
Ordered the monkey bread to share. Bread was sweet gooey and delicious.
1 kitchen sink -delicious.
1 Steak and eggs -delicious
1 Duck omelette -more duck needed
1 quiche
