Cornerstone Auto Sales

I waited a month of driving the vehicle my husband and I bought from Cornerstone Auto before giving my review. On October 11 we purchased a 2011 Lincoln MKX with 111,000 miles on it for $11,000. At the test drive we realized it needed brakes and rotors and that the moon roof didn't close without manual assistance. Since Cornerstone doesn't finance and it was a holiday, we had to go to our bank for a personal loan and came back two days later (we live two hours away). During that time the issues were repaired by Cornerstone, happily. We test drove it again before signing the papers. Since purchasing, I have driven my usual daily around town and biweekly 60 miles drive for groceries. A 300 mile trip and a 100 mile trip. The entire experience has been nothing but pleasant for us. The owners were kind, helpful and fair. The vehicle is one of the best I've owned. After seeing the negative reviews here I wanted to share our experience. Also, my husband and I are both Black Americans. I felt this detail important because of the negative reviews I had seen posted here. I would definitely (and have) recommend shopping here for a used vehicle.

The owner seemed so happy that he sold an 90 yr young woman a wrecked previously jeep that has a brand new inspection sticker that still has a check engine light on and shakes when you get up to about 55 mph. I drive this car almost everyday and it has been the same since day 1. I just want you to know that ms myrtle is very disappointed that you would rake us over the coals with the limited funds we had to work with and limited time we has to look for a ride.

Car was set for inspection about 3-4 months after purchase. Costed a minimum of 1600 just to pass, not including all of the other things that I will have to fix in the future. Literally on the drive home the radio that was tested stopped working. Noticed the horn didn’t work a short while after purchase. Don’t waste your time.

Was lied to about how much rust was on one of their cars. Was told clean and no rust. Drove 5 hours to see car to find a very rusty car.

Went to look at a truck today. Looked really good on the outside. Took it for a test drive and it definately needed alot of work. Lady working said they would not go down on price at all and would do no work to it at all. She got very rude and hostile as soon as we told her it needed work . By the time we left she was yelling at us. Very unprofessional and rude. Will never go to this place again nor will I ever refer them to anyone. Very disappointed!

A couple years ago my mom went to this dealership to buy a car. She told me that the guy that helped her told her that he didn’t sell cars to hispanics. He is lucky I was not there.

If you’re hispanic don’t even go here. Erie is horrible and is only getting worst. Move out of there if you can. A lot racism and people with no education.

Do not buy a car from these people. I paid $9,000 and they sold me a car that needs a new engine. And when you take it to them to have them check it they'll tell you nothing wrong with it be very careful buying from these people because they will burn you! And don't believe anything about their warranty because that's a joke also.
