Hertz Car Rental - Boise Air Terminal

TL:DR — Insanely fast service, great cars (brand new), friendly staff (shout out to the staff checking cars Friday 5am! You rock!) Rent here with confidence!

I’ve spent the last month flying in and out of Boise for work, and this Hertz location instantly shot to the top of my BEST Hertz locations list! Fastest location I’ve ever used. Walk up. Give name and ID, hand me the keys and I’m off. All done with a smile, and sending me out in brand new cars.

I will continue to use this location every time I come back to Boise. Thank you!

Great that you can pick up the phone and speak to a person at this location. Decent car available for me without any wait, and no problems with return process. Staff available, and accessible throughout. Great experience. Other Hertz locations could learn many lessons from this one.

Wow what great service with a good idea Mr. Bundy. Give this man 10 stars. We all forget things sometimes and Mr. Bundy went way above and beyond to help me out and get an item I forgot about returned to me via FedEx.

I would like to give a huge shout out to Garrett and Sydni. First off I thought Garrett was the owner of the business the way he handled our situation was next level, he represented the company with wonderful hospitality and professionalism. Who ever hired Gerrett made a very smart decision. Come to find out Sydni was a new hire. 4 days in we could never tell she was very professional and handled everything with accuracy and care. My friend that was renting the car was from out of state so there was a few hurdles for her. Budget and enterprise has generally been my go to. Hertz has earned our business and loyalty. Thank you, Gerrett and Sydney for your help and the pleasant experience you provided for us.

Amazing experience. Had a wonderful 2021 grand Cherokee for a great price but that's just where my wonderful experience begins. Every single person I interacted with from Hertz was the epitome of professional, cheerful, gracious and helpful. When picking up my rental, Jeremy had some wonderful tips and attractions to visit. When dropping off my rental, had a great experience with the guy there. I forgot some items, but when I landed in my hometown, the Miss at the desk took care of everything from procuring my items, to coordinating return. Thank you. Can't wait to use next time I'm in Boise

Some of the employees here lie and are shady. But Jeff and sid are top notch. GREAT people to work with. I'd highly recommend speaking to Jeff directly and he will take care of you 💪🇺🇲

I came from out of town and I rented a car through them. It was a great experience. They upgraded me to a large SUV which was very much appreciated. There was some confusion about the gas level but they straightened it out immediately. Car was clean and reliable. Entire process was quick and pleasant!

Also this Hertz location is connected to the terminal. This is very rare nowadays as most airports have offsite rental with a shuttle. Boise is pretty small so it’s nice they are still able to fit the rental cars right at the terminal.

I was really impressed with this place. Checking in took about two minutes, signing papers and getting the breakdown of rules. Rate was very reasonable, car was clean and in good repair (brand new but you know), and when I went to turn it in, it took all of 10 seconds. Literally, pull up, get out, employee does a walkaround, takes back the keys, checks the fuel level and odometer, and you get an email receipt as you're walking away.

I did spend about $6 getting a car wash on it before I turned it in, I don't know if they would charge a cleaning fee for bugs on the front or whatever. I would definitely use these guys again.

I have rented several times here. I have always received a better car than requested and they have been ready for me every time. The one time I had a minor gripe (leftover smoke smell) they were very responsive and helped take care of the problem at once. I love renting at Hertz in Boise!

This rental car location is second to none! Jamie and Craig were amazing and got exactly the vehicle I wanted. Their friendliness and hospitality are amazing. If I had three thumbs they would all be up but I will settle for two.

Took minutes to get my reservation and got a free upgrade. Great location. Super efficient. Great rental. I was even able to keep it 40 mins extra free of charge. Beautiful car with less than 5000 miles.

I cannot day enough good things about this Hertz! Staff was great all around. They were so easy and pleasant to talk too. The car was perfect (clean, well appointed, and powerful). The location is 10 steps from the Terminal. Absolutely great!

Perfect location, literally on the first floor of the airport. The guy checking us in was nice and funny. He even printed us paper directions as he said lots of people lose signal driving into the mountains. We reserved a 4x4 or AWD and received a 4x4 toyota Rav 4 which was in excellent condition. The cars are only a walk away. It was fast to pick up and fast to drop off.

We had a very new car so it was clean and very nice. Great service. Quick and easy.

Who would have thought that all rental cars were sold out in Boise on a Wednesday? I called everywhere hoping to find a car. Everyone was out of vehicles. I did not check my bag on my flight. I made a run for this rental counter. They said they had a car and I said mine. I was extremely happy to have gotten a car. I was visiting family. I needed to drive to Middleton and the Nampa/Caldwell area. I was thinking i would be forced to Uber. Hertz saved me and i was very very happy to drive myself.

Kyle Bundy was wonderfully helpful, thoughtful, and a joy to work with in getting us just the right Rental Car that we needed. We really appreciated his time, experience, and effort in making our experience with Hertz a great one!

I have rented autos from this Hertz location about a dozen times over the last 6 years or so, and have always found their customer service folks to be excellent at their job. I have never been disappointed in the quality of my cars rented over the years,, and I plan on going back to the same counter on all of my future car rentals while I'm in Boise.

You know how to take care of 5 star members, but you should go back and support the NRA.

Very quick and friendly service at airport. Base model Toyota Camry performed well. The adaptive cruise control was very handy on the I84.
