Courtyard by Marriott Erie Ambassador Conference Center

Super great weekend trip! Took my sisters and I to splash lagoon and our 4 tickets were included in the price which was awesome. Rooms were large and clean. Front desk staff were kind and went above and beyond for us hotel goers. Only thing was I didn’t realize that it was not a free continental breakfast, it was available for purchase but still was delicious.

Best hotel ever rooms are large and very nice bed. It’s very comfortable. You can also enjoy the sauna Jacuzzi and pool 10 out of 10.

I am thoroughly impressed! You can tell the hotel is older, but it is well maintained. The outside and inside is super clean and when we walked in, the front desk attendant (not sure her name but she has light brown/grey hair and glasses) was the sweetest attendant I’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with. She had us checked in in the blink of an eye, answered our questions and was very kind, even loaning me a charger for the night. I cannot sing her praises enough! Our room was clean and fully stocked and very spacious. They had a sauna that was wonderful, as well as a hot tub, kids pool, and regular pool. There is a fireplace on the inside (one of the fake ambiance ones) to chill by right next to a black baby grand piano. Plenty of places to relax and it had a bar and bistro with a very sweet young lady serving it. 10/10 highly recommend this place!

The hotel provides terrific amenities (pool, fitness center, Starbucks, a market for snacks and drinks). The decor is classy and modern. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Chris checked us in and he made us feel right at home! I was very impressed with this hotel!

We stayed at the hotel because a family member was in critical condition at Hamot hospital and we couldn't drive back home to Pittsburgh. We needed somewhere comfortable and soothing for a good nights sleep. We chose the Courtyard Ambassador because they offer rooms with spa tubs. The room was perfect for our needs! We were able to relax in the tub in our spacious, clean, well-appointed room.

We had a great stay! Pool was nice in size, room was super clean! My only complaint is the bed was a little hard and was a full size instead of queen. But overall, very clean all around. Had a nice pool, jacuzzi, kiddie pool, and sauna!

This place is super clean. The room was very spacious and clean. Most of all, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We walked in the front door and were greeted by the happiest biggest smile ever. The young lady who checked us in was the sweetest. What a great place to be.

Super impressed with this place. Everything is very clean. The room was much larger than we expected. The pool was wonderful - it even had a small wading pool with a mushroom-like fountain for small kids (we have 2). In addition to all of these wonderful things, you could see it from the expressway which made it super easy to find and yet you could not hear the expressway from the room (and we had a room facing the expressway). It was close to SO many restaurants and things to do which added to the prime location. Great pic!

We chose the Ambassador Atrium to get married in and couldn't be happier with our choice. The room looked gorgeous for both our ceremony and reception, the catering was excellent, and their wedding coordinator, Callie Ogden, was integral in making our day perfect. She answered all of our questions thoroughly without losing patience and ensured everything ran smoothly leading up to and on our special day. Anyone who chooses the Ambassador for their wedding will be lucky to be in her hands; our wedding wouldn't have been the same without her behind the scenes.

The Courtyard by Marriott Erie Ambassador Conference Center is a good place to stay in Erie. The location is perfect — right near Interstate 90, not far from Interstate 79 and located in the big-box corridor of Erie — with everything from Millcreek Mall to Wegmans to Target to chain restaurants and Splash Lagoon all within a very short drive. And, it's not terribly far from activities in Downtown Erie and Presque Isle.

The hotel rooms are good — the rooms seem generally larger than a lot of hotels I've stayed in.

Many rooms (maybe all, but I cannot easily confirm that in this moment) have a small patio that is great for either sitting outside to enjoy the sunset or just keeping the screen open to let air inside. The patio lights do not go off at night, so if you're like me and enjoy keeping the curtain/blinds open, be ready for a light casting into the room all night.

The rooms have great and spacious bathrooms. The rooms I've had have all had a fridge and a microwave. And every room I've had has had plenty of storage space for luggage and such.

One room I recently stayed in was in the corner and there was a funky hallway from the room's door to the rest of the room — it was odd, but it also seemed to keep any noises from the hallway to a minimum. Just make sure if you order delivery food that you hear the knocking!

The pool area is great, and offers something for every age and interest: A small mushroom kids splash area, a regular hotel pool, a whirlpool and a small sauna. When I've used this area, it's almost never been crowded, so it can be a pleasant experience to just read a book and enjoy the water.

The main area of the hotel's lobby area is huge, and offers plenty of seating and areas to get work done. There is a small breakfast/coffee bar, but I have never seen it open, so I am unsure of those details (I'm not an early riser!) And, I do appreciate hand sanitizer in the elevators!

A few technology notes: The Wi-Fi seems to be a bit weak, in my experience, and this is even for just basic web use (think browsing the web, email). And, if you're like me and bring a Google TV (or a fire stick or anything similar) to cast on hotel room TVs, you're out of luck here. Their hotel TV system overrides the input button. I assume this also means video game systems can't be played. (And if anybody has a solution, let me know.)

If you're able to, get a room with a view to the north or northeast. You can see Presque Isle Bay, Presque Isle and Lake Erie. I've watched thunderstorms and snowstorms go over the lake from this hotel, and it is amazing.

This place was awesome from the front desk clerks to the housekeeping staff, especially the supervisor who got us extra towels! The room was sooo soo quiet I never heard a single other guest! We stayed here with a Splash Lagoon package! The hotel it's self is kept up very well and up to date! The beds were SUPER COMFORTABLE, I have a soft bed here at home and theirs was more firm but yet soft.. great pillows too! Really clean also, I could tell all the bed linens were clean. The only thing I could find was a small amount of black in the sealant where the wall met the tub. Other than that the shampoo condioner and body was were way above average!!!! The pool and courtyard were clean and nice. We ate dinner outside after kids had fun in the pool. I would stay here again

Great place! clean, roomy and comfortable. Front desk was very pleasant and even laughed at my jokes. 1st time stay and falling in love with the place. My only gripe is the lack of ceiling lighting in the room.

This is a great place to stay. My family & I always enjoy ourselves. The staff is kind & accommodating. The rooms are very clean. & the food that you can buy at the bistro is delicious. Love how close to I-90 it is too. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

We stayed for more than 2 weeks while work was being done at our home. I couldn't have been more satisfied. The room was beautiful and comfortable, the pool and hot tub made us feel as if we were on vacation. STAFF AMAZING!! Location so close to shopping and restaurants, very convenient. Thank you !!!

Front desk staff was very pleasant. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed for a week at this location and they are wonderful. They squeezed us in at the last minute and gave us a great rate. The rooms are so clean!! That is a huge deal for us and we had no hesitations walking barefoot on the floors in the room or sleeping in the most comfortable beds ever. They have a lot of amenities which we didn't need to use but it's nice to know they're available. The only thing I wish they had was actual room service but you can order from the bistro and bring it back to your room. There are also mini refrigerators and microwaves in each room. The staff was very nice, accommodating and so friendly. The price was great, considering I was a last minute week long reservation. They are located fairly close to the airport, close to tons of restaurants, shopping, the mall and freeways. If I ever have to stay in Erie again I will definitely only stay here!!!

What a great stay. We were here with the family of four and it was a great overnight stay. Front desk staff (Mark) was very friendly and polite, room was clean and prepared in a timely manner, and very modern. I highly recommend staying here, numerous attractions near by

Clean comfortable rooms. Loved that they have a hot tub and sauna. Not the best view since it's surrounded by shopping plazas but saw the best sunset from the balcony.
