Hampton Inn & Suites Erie/Bayfront

My family stayed at this location this past weekend and the service was fantastic.

We had booked a room at the Cobblestone Hotel & Suites down the street and we were forced to leave due to the unacceptable condition of the room. So at 10pm in freezing temps with 3 kids we searched for another hotel and found the Hampton, I booked through a 3rd party site and the reservation didn't make it over.

After 45 min fighting with the site I canceled that reservation and booked right through the front desk.

Malik, who was working the front desk was amazing, he did more for us than the management at the other hotel, and our situation was not his fault at all. he price matched the 3rd party site and gave us a free upgrade. After such a stressful day it was really nice feel like someone cared about our predicament.

The room was very big, clean, and well maintained, it had a nice view of the harbor. we were in and out quick so we didn't get to use all the amenities, but what we saw looked great. the location was fantastic, we had an event at the convention center and it was a 30 second drive or a 10 min walk away.

I would definitely recommend.

I recently stayed at this location two nights ago, and following my experience last night, I find myself wishing I could have extended my stay. I was truly impressed with every aspect of this Hampton Inn, from the impeccable rooftop restaurant and bar to the overall cleanliness of the establishment. The staff exhibited a commendable level of professionalism and service. I anticipate with eagerness the opportunity to return in the future, should my business endeavors lead me back this way.

I’ve done my fair share of traveling, I’ve stayed at 5 star hotels in some great cities here in the U.S., and Europe. I wanted a quick escape from Pittsburgh before school starts, to spend time with my kiddo and relax. This hotel exceeded my expectations, specifically for the cleanliness. Comfortable beds and linens, nice carpet (so nice I felt comfortable walking around without socks after a shower). If you’re looking for something classy but modest, with clean rooms, and a quality restaurant attached - this is the spot!!

Definitely stay here when in area. Can't say enough about how nice it was here. Clean rooms and staff were friendly. Breakfast great. We didn't have any issues with Beer Garden noise...hotel was extremely quiet.

This is the best Hotel in Erie. Is new and well kept. Has a great roof top, and good price for value. If you are lucky , you can get a room with great view to the bay

This is our go to place when we go to Erie. They are very friendly, perfect location, rooms are always clean. Hot breakfast in the morning. We just love this place and the Sloppy Duck is right across the street. Never been disappointed

Everything was great during my visit. Great service from the hotel staff. Clean room. (My only feedback, don't believe the hype about the restaurant. It was okay, but not amazing and the only place I didn't feel like I got great service)

This is a hotel you can stay in. In the summer the hotel has a restaurant called Oliver's and they have a beer garden and the restaurant is on the top floor over looking the lake. Also there is a museum next door

This hotel was clean and updated. We requested an accessible room and they only had mobility access with tub. We were pleasantly surprised to find a tub bench which made it possible for me to use the shower. The staff were pleasant and knowledgeable about the area also. The view was nice also.

Nice in that there is a separate restaurant on top independent of the hotel. Allow for the 4 pm check in. Parking will cost you 10.00 plus tax. We have been there at least 4 times. Great views

We did a little staycation in our own backyard. This is a wonderful hotel with tremendous value.

This place was so perfect for our romantic getaway. The room was clean and elegantly furnished. We went for a walk down to the water and enjoyed watching the ships. Breakfast was delicious and everything was easy to get to. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We had dinner in Oliver’s rooftop restaurant and the food was fabulous! Our waitress was so considerate. I can’t wait to go back!

If you’re a traveler who likes to stay in places with walking distance restaurants or attractions, this Hampton Inn is definitely for you. I don’t know how old the hotel is, but everything seems brand new and it is in impeccable conditions.

For parking, they charge a ten dollar fee per day, which in my opinion is reasonable considering that you’re in a hot spot area that draws a lot of visitors and tourists. They have two side lots and another one crossing the street.

Here’s an important thing. If you’re looking for a luxurious hotel for a calm night, I alert you to look for a different option out of downtown or come during the week. There’s a rooftop restaurant and a garden bar behind the hotel that attracts lots of people, which results in loud music at night, lots of traffic in the halls and in the bathrooms on the ground floor. We came a day prior to July 4th and luckily I read a few reviews about this situation. For that, we asked to be accommodate in a part of hotel that doesn’t get too much noise. Other than that, I highly recommend Hampton Inn for solo, couple or family travelers.

Outstanding customer service at Hampton Inn on Old Oliver Road. The staff was courteous, efficient and professional. Check-in was seamless, breakfast was great and the cleaning staff was terrific! Highly recommend - easy access off highway.

This property is a real treat. Superb location! Welcoming and lovely lobby area which is next to the beautiful breakfast area. Nice elevators and a roof top restaurant. Our room was just beautiful with amazing views of the harbor and lake. Super comfortable and very large.
Pro tip-Parking is just across the street and plentiful. Oversized vehicles have a lot just a little farther down the dead end street and big enough for a few 26’ U-hauls and RV’s. Not really suitable for a big rig.

Visited for 3 nights. Very clean and comfortable, staff team s are friendly, morning food was very nice, Oliver's roof top was Superb! Location was excellent for many activities, indoor has pool and gym.

Great experience! We have stayed in many hotels in Erie and this is our new favorite.

Stayed overnight for a little get away . Room was spotless ,the breakfast was great, loved the location, my water view was ok not sure I would pay the extra to get it again. The staff is very helpful and nice. It was my first time using a digital key on phone once I got the hang of it was super easy worked great and you can send the key to your other guest so they can have it on their phone to use that was nice. I would say the only inconvenience was the parking paying $10.00, guess you can park on the street for free if you can find a spot , overall it was a great stay will be going back .
