El Canelo Mexican Restaurant

Came here with friends to celebrate the end of a semester. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. I had the diablo shrimp and fajita. Everyone's food came quickly and was excellent. Prices can't be beat here! Show some local businesses some love

I give this place a 4.5. A great place for Mexican food. Service is good and quick. The food is pretty inexpensive compared to other places but still strong in flavor. Had the chicken tacos, chicken burritos, Jose's special. Chicken is well seasoned and juicy. The José special does not hold back on the lobster which is great. Churros are pretty small but tasty. The jalapeño poppers are overly breaded. Be cautious, the salsa for the chips is pretty spicy.

Enjoy eating here, my favorite of the El Canelos in the area. Always friendly staff. Can be a bit dark inside and bathrooms can be a bit scary, but worth visiting.

it's a great place! the atmosphere is chill, the service is always decent, and the food is SO yummy. So much so, that you don't mind the after effects haha

1st time there.... forgot to take pictures... had some kind of Mexican Steak..
Very Good!!! Went back to get a Taco Salad.... so very disappointing... Mushy Meat... no onions 1/2 slice of a tomato.. no sour cream... no gogamoli...no salsa . For a Mexican Restaurant.. Do they even know what a Taco Salad is? I won't be back....

Cheap, healthy and Delicious. This is becoming one of my favorite lunch places.

I took my elderly parents for a spur-of-the-moment, late lunch. We all love Mexican food and we were not disappointed. I told our polite and efficient server, that we had a short time frame and our food came out pronto. What the kitchen produced was delicious and filling. We all ordered a different lunch special, piled high with fresh, tasty ingredients. The seasonings were mild, allowing each diner to spice things up more, if so desired. The prices were excellent, the service was top-notch and the food and atmosphere were perfect. I'll be back!

We eat here often and everyone is always nice and friendly, great food and not too long of a wait. Could use more cheese on the tacos but other than that everything's perfect. Recommend place for me

The great restaurant with a traditional Mexican Cafe feel. Their food is the usual Mexican Fair but is awesome prepared well and never disappoints. They also have drink specials the beer is cold. Great place to get a good meal and a drink.

We literally drove 2000 miles back home to Erie and the very first place we went was here. Yeah, it’s that good. We moved to a US/Mexico boarder town and can not find Mexican food better than El Canelo’s anywhere!

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was soooo good. Came out piping hot, great portions, and the flavours were unbeatable. This is one of my favourite Mexican places in town and I'll definitely be going back again and again.

We live to go here regularly and they always have quick and delicious food. I usually get the nacho fajita chicken and I ask to add chorizo. But no matter what I've tried everything was delicious or at bare minimum sub par.

I think this little restaurant deserves more stars than it is getting! We were greeted promptly by our hostess/ waitress who was very pleasant and seated us promptly. We ordered lime Margaritas which were delicious! The chips and salsa was well done. The salsa had a great little kick that was not to hot. There are a wide variety of options and we found the portions more than enough with a small amount to take home. I had the chicken fajitas and my husband had tejana fajitas, both perfectly done! Please try this gem for yourself. If you want”Americanized” Mexican food, try taco bell, however if you want the spice and flavors of Mexico, try this hidden gem in Harborcreek!

Good food fair prices the waitress was very sweet and kept checking on us. It's the 2nd time I've ate lunch there and I will go back for sure.
