Madhuban Indian Cuisine

A friend introduced me to this place by ordering ahead and picking it up. The food was so flavorful! We finally had an opportunity to go in and eat - completely changed my spouse's thoughts on Indian cuisine!!!
While the restaurant itself is unique in its setup (hard to tell if you just seat yourself or what) with its quiet hushed tones, the owners are quick and efficient. My all-time favorite is the coconut naan - I could that all day EVERY day!

Excellent Indian food, very busy on a Sunday night. I've been here a few times and hardly anyone else was here. This place has been discovered! Besides other Indian restaurants are closed on Sunday, so I'd suggest any other day of the week for a calmer dining experience. We came in and were lucky to get a table but there was a constant wait at the door, and they didn't turn off their door bell sensor so it just dinged over and over and over again.
The dining hall is just a square, open, room layout that you'd expect from a mall diner. The noise has nowhere to go, and there isn't any better sitting or romantic seating area for a date. But the food...it's so worth it!

Let me start with my favorite thing here - the coconut Naan - OMGoodness it's sooo good! Sometimes I get an order to go just as a treat. The vindaloo chicken is my favorite curry. My husband's favorite is tandoori style meat, this time he tried Lamb and liked it. We also enjoyed papadam (not how I'm used to it, but was still good), veggie pakora, and regular Naan. We've tried several Indian restaurants and this one is in our top 5.

this is the best indian food i’ve had in the treasure valley! we had the samosas, roti, garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, and gobi manchurian. Can’t wait to go back!

I had a hard finding a good Indian food restaurant in Boise and I am thrilled that I found this place!

Amazing food, great prices, awesome menu selection, fantastic service, and a lovely atmosphere! No complaints here! It steadily got busier as we were here on a Monday night around 5:30PM - only 1 or 2 other tables when we arrived, and then it was almost full by the time we left around 6:30. They do offer takeout and it seemed like delivery options, too. Overall 5/5 and would come again and recommend to others!

I had the chicken biryani level 3 spice, garlic naan and mango lassi and everything was up to my standards. Staff were very nice and accommodating and I would totally come back again!

Best Indian food in Boise! I’ve been coming here for years and have tried all the other places. Lots of people are singing the praises of Red Fort, and it is good, but I can honestly say that Madhuban’s is better. My birthday dinner spot almost every year.

Such kind people and the food is always well worth the wait. It’s one of our favorite Christmas traditions!!

Wonderful food, great kind staff, fair prices. We enjoyed our meal much! I asked for spicy and my nose is running and our server was so attentive and charming. Hidden gem!

This is my favorite restaurant in Boise! I'm mostly doing take out but have dined in several times too. Great tasting dishes, have never had anything there I did not love!

We celebrated my husband's 55th birthday party at Madhuban and it was spectacular! Delicious, authentic cuisine. Kind-hearted, detailed service and an absolute 5-star event for everyone (16 ppl).

Genuinely top tier food and top tier service at very reasonable prices. Almost seems too good to be true. Servers are super friendly and accommodating, the wait is never too long, and the food ALWAYS slaps. I catch myself daydreaming about this place.

Love this place. I used to eat here for lunch years ago when I worked at Brews Brothers. Their lunch buffet is delicious! I love small, local restaurants. This one has stood the test of time!

Idaho is lucky to have such an awesome restaurant. This is a great place to visit for some tasty, hole-in-the-strip-mall Indian fare. Priced appropriately, friendly service, and food that will have you coming back!

Amazing food and service! The lamb curry is my favorite, and it’s so tender. Their mint chutney is great, and it’s not too spicy for people with young kids. Very family friendly. We will definitely come again.

Our favorite Indian food we've found in the Boise area! It's a cute little hole in the wall and hasn't been super busy between 3-4:30pm. The food is very flavorful and spice levels are authentic.
