Security Service Federal Credit Union ATM

Everyone at this branch is always so very helpful. (I’ve only gotten the opportunity to be helped by the ladies at the front of the bank though) The ladies always have such great energy and I’m also greeted EVERY single time I walk through their door. They are always sincere and seem generally happy to help me out with whatever I’m needing that day. *** Which is hard to find these days in the customer service arena. Ive never had to wait in a long line. EVER. There’s always enough tellers to handle all of us clients, and in a very timely matter I must say. I actually don’t even have an account with SSFCU, but when I moved down to the area, a couple years ago, I needed to find a Credit Union that allowed Shared Branching with my credit union, Utah Power Credit Union. The closest branch of my credit union is about 4 hours away, so I was very happy to find out that this location did shared branching. The funny thing is I don’t live near this credit union per-say. (I’m off the Washington Parkway exit). I drive past 2 or 3 other credit unions, who also do shared branching, just to get to this credit unions location. I’ve just always had such a nice experience at this credit union, that I don’t mind driving approx. an extra 15 minutes. I just want to say one more thing. Like I said earlier in the review ALL these ladies are fantastic, but there is one that has always gone above and beyond when helping me out. Her name is Amber. I’m not sure of her last name, and I hope you don’t have two ladies named Amber at this location because I’d really like her to be recognized for amazing customer service. I was just at this location this morning, encase you need to verify which Amber I’m talking about.

Angela helped me swap out my old barely functional cards, THIS BANK IS THE BEST. I use them for my business, my personal account. To explain all the ways they’ve gone above and beyond would require a book. I’m a lifer.

The staff at stg ssfcu have great energy and are very helpful / personable. they’ve helped me with everything from banking to helping me collect documents for purchasing a home.

They are very friendly and very helpful. With knowledge. Always a great smiles from all who are there. Love the concern from all.

I have had accounts at Security Service (formerly Beehive) for 20 years now. I have been very happy with the benefits of the Travel Rewards Credit Card and the rest of my accounts, but the best thing about the St George branch is Wendy. She is extremely knowledgeable about every type of account, she has long lasting relationships with credit union members, she cares about people and helps them find creative solutions to financial dilemmas. She helped my daughter get her first car recently and we couldn’t be happier. Security Service has great accounts, credit cards, and loans. They also have some amazing staff!

I met the most incredibly polite and friendly staff at this credit union today who literally went out of their way to invite me to become a client. Never before have I experienced that type of outreach and friendliness from any staff of any financial institution. I think I just might switch to this credit union. You ladies are amazing!

My "take" will take a minute so buckle up! I want to give a shout out to Wendy Workman of the SSFCU of the St. George, Utah branch. I've known and worked with Wendy since the "Beehive FCU" days and...with all due respect to her namesake...changing it to Wendy "Workwoman" or Wendy "Workwonders" would not only be apropos, but certainly (from a professional perspective at least!) a more a descriptive moniker for this girl! Wendy simply "gets it done!" If Wendy can't "push the right buttons" to solve an issue...she finds the person who can!! I am NOT EASY (ask my wife; also see: definition: bucking bronc) but Wendy has handled me seamlessly (see: definition: "Horse Whisperer!") for 25+ years running! SSFCU would do well to put her in charge of "Customer Service for Associates" company wide (don't take it if they offer it Wendy!! Stay HERE!) cuz SHE GETS IT!! Wendy is competent, pleasant, professional, poised and effective...members matter to her and it shows in her daily interactions! One last thing...Wendy has a "million dollar smile" and YOU will ALWAYS be met with that every time YOU show up...phone, drive thru or lobby! Wendy is an "Interest Bearing Asset" not only for SSFCU but for our community at large!

I have banked with Security Service for years. They have amazing amazing team but especially Wendy! She is a veteran employee that is knowledge and kind hearted. She always has your best interest in mind and strives to do the very best she can for your needs. Fro being a teller to a experienced loan officer she can do it all. She is amazing!!

I have been at every bank here in Washington county. Let me tell you that this place is the BEST!! Tiffanie Mower always goes out of her way to help me and answer any questions I have (and sometimes they are numerous.) They even saw me outside the door like 3 minutes after closing and let me come in to deposit a check, not knowing that I really really needed to deposit it before the weekend. Overall I’d say if you bank somewhere else, come open an account here.. start a second account for savings or your small business. Compare it to your current bank and overtime you will naturally notice that this becomes your main banking stop, and Wells Fargo 🥱 becomes the account you only have around for that gym membership you have setup for autopay and are too lazy to switch it.

I have banking here for 22 years and have had outstanding service and consider the staff as my friends, especially Wendy Workman. The branch is a 50 mile round trip from my home and I am able to to conduct most transactions online or verbally, a wonderful service. I would never consider banking anywhere else in southern Utah.

I've been with First Security Federal Credit Union for approx. 20 years or more. I started with the one on 5600 South and Vine Street in Salt Lake City and then the past 4 years in the St. George, Utah for 4 years. Their service is excellent!!! I wouldn't trade them for another credit union for anything! To anyone who is looking for a credit union and monitoring of your account for possible transactions I didn't make there is always a phone call. I'm grateful for the protection they render to all their customers! Thanks so much SSFCU!!! I appreciate all you do on my behalf!!!

Went in today because my own (out of state) credit union was giving me issues. I had an account here due to a previous auto loan. They were able to help me through shared branching and my own SSFCU account. Very friendly and accommodating.

Our trailer arrived a month early and Rebecca was so quick to get our financing and our insurance taken care of. It was great to have someone we could trust to take care of everything for us. We now have all of our insurance needs taken care of in one place, and will definitely be coming back when other services are needed!

I have banked with several different banks throughout the years and Security Service Federal Credit Union in St. George, Utah has been best. The individualized service that is given among all staff is very personal and professional. In addition to all the awesome staff, the rates and access to money has been very streamline and effortless. I would recommend everyone to bank with SSFCU in St. George.

You know, I should have written this review 2.5 years ago. These folks at Security Service FCU are the best! I have never, ever written a review about any bank or credit union in my entire life because I have had such bad experiences with them all ( You name them, and we have had direct or indirect interactions with them through the past 35 years of self employment). I/we, pretty much can say - hate them all!!
Except for this lone little branch of Security Service FCU! These folks have far and away blown the rest of the so-called financial institutions out of the water.
We handle some very large transactions and they always take care of us in an easy and relaxed manner with no muss and no fuss.
If you are considering a change from corporate America's bankster criminal/government controlled institutions which by the way... (don't and never have cared about you, you are an account number at the most and at the least represent deposit amounts they can "legally" lend out 100+ times represented amount on de-posit.
There is a better way. SSFCU cares about it's clients (YOU)
