“Popkin” is a delicious hot pocket. I loved the Ham & Swiss popkin, and will return to try the others. We also enjoyed a “Veggie Sammy” and a lemon-raspberry danish. All are made on site! And the coffee is excellent.

I've only been to the Poppy Seed location in BSU, but this establishment serves the BEST BLT sandwiches I've ever had. The pastries are also very delicious, definitely recommend trying their coconut muffin and chocolate chip cookies. Not to only mention, but the staff are always welcoming and friendly!

The foothills of Boise have a reputation for being our greatest example of how this city shines. Poppyseed has become a local favorite site due to a caring owner and consistent thoughtful food. You're treated to a high level of service that helps you feel like family. Kim's savory pastries always hit the spot. Her coffee is magic. Her burritos and wraps are monstrosities. The lift is relaxing, the patio is quaint with its little fireplace tables. I hope you try this place out. Take some time, slow down, enjoy, or grab a Foothills Fog & Blackberry Danish to-go.

What a lovely bakery! The upstairs was super comfortable for us, and I wish I could somehow fly in just so I can have their pastries again. The woman who took our order was super kind. Coffee was good, and we even had our food brought up to us. I'm so used to heat and go type foods at coffee shops, the care and flavor in the foods here took me by surprise.

Will definitely visit again in the future! Thanks.

(Highly irrelevant, but I also like the exposed look of the beams on the ceiling of the building lol).

Filled with good smells! The quiche was about the best I've ever had, looking forward to trying more of the menu.

Not much seating but that isn't really a bad thing, perfect size for cozy meeting with friends or a day off.

Plus they serve Ironside coffee which can only mean good things!

What a great find! I'm from the other side of Boise and met a friend here for a light breakfast and to get caught up. The breakfast sandwich was hot and fresh. Very friendly staff. Will certainly be back when on this side of Boise!

Cutest little bakery/coffee shop. I had a London fog latte that was TO DIE FOR, and was blown away at the case of delicious treats to look at!! These berries and cream tarts (pictured) were just beautiful. The quiches were HUGE and mouthwatering with 3 different flavors available. I had a salted caramel brownie with a pretzel crust that was oooey, gooey, crunchy, salty, and just totally dreamy. The girls working were super friendly to top it off. Definitely stop in!

It's always fun to find hidden treasures in my city. My son and I stopped in for breakfast while waiting for an oil change nearby, when we left my son asked " How have we not known about this place before ?" It's one of Boise's best little secrets, I suppose.
Basically, when it comes to the menu, the choice is yours . You can be healthy, semi naughty or real naughty, and it's all delicious (we might have tried a few things 🤣) . Service was delivered with a smile, and attitude of gratitude. The staff was happy to have us visit and show us around the menu items. I love having a latte with my breakfast. Life is good when you're at Poppy Seed Cafe.

Worth the stop twice a week! The new owners and staff are incredible. They know my name and family’s order already and are happy to see us each time we stop in. You can see and feel the care they put into the food and drinks here. I can’t wait to see the other improvements they have planned. If you haven’t been in a while I highly recommend stopping to support them at the Hill Road location or in the Business building at Boise State. If I could give them six stars, I would. Hurry up and stop here for delicious baked goods, coffee, tea, or lunch!!!

It was my first time here and I wasn’t expecting much going in, I thought it was a café with a few pastries however I was very surprised to see a full breakfast menu. I got the avocado toast and coffee and a pastry and everything was top notch and very delicious. The place is very cute to go and study they have free Wi-Fi. I highly recommend this place and I will be back to try more stuff from their menu.

We had the very best gluten free, dairy free carrot cake ever!! It was wonderful and everyone, even those without dietary restrictions raved over it. We had guests from all over the country and they are all gushing about it. Thank you so much, it made our holiday!

Such an incredible breakfast spot. Deep dish quiches are out of this world delicious! Having both sweet and savory options is such a smart idea and the prices cannot be beat. Also don't forget about the service with a smile! Job well done ladies!

Been driving past this spot several
Times a week for a year and finally stopped today and was so glad I did. Very comfy and cozy spot with a nice selection of sweet and savory options. Had the Baja burrito (eggs, pico, avocado and cheese) and a side summer salad which was so crisp and refreshing. The burrito was a great portion size and well seasoned. Also got a lemon coconut muffin that was so good I got a second to take home. There were several quiches and savory pastries I can’t wait to try on future visits. Definitely check this spot out. Great coffee drinks as well!

Also a great spot to get some work done too!

Adorable coffee shop with a great selection of food. I had The Best Mocha & a cranberry-orange muffin, and my hubby had the Lavender White Mocha & the banana bread. All delicious. That crust on the top of the muffin... I'm going to be dreaming about it. I LOVED the little lift with all the books and comfy chairs. Excellent service. Such a great vibe here. Don't miss this local treasure!

Super chill music that I loved. I got the Gem State huckleberry mocha and it was delicious. The avocado toast was yummy as well. I sat and enjoyed the atmosphere for a while and the gals behind the register knew most of the folks who came in by name. And who doesn’t love poppies? Yes, I’ll visit an establishment solely based on their logo/sign/mascot. There isn’t a ton of seating but I like that. Can’t get loud while you’re doing work etc. Free WiFi as well.
